They are so knowledgeable, so professional and most importantly - the staff are all such kind people! We usually bring Beeswax to see Ava and she is great with him. She's straightforward, explains everything clearly and has such a gentle and kind demeanor. I recently saw the other vet, Ian and he was so accommodating when I needed to drop in at the last minute. Leanne is usually at the front desk and is such a delight. She is so welcoming, so helpful and incredibly sweet! She does some cat sitting on the side as well, and we had her in to look after Beeswax while we were away for a few days recently. She was so great, and Beeswax didn't seem to miss us at all! Again, I cannot recommend Abbey Vet enough. The prices are very fair, the staff are incredibly good at what they do and as I've said before, they are all really nice people! Beeswax is always in good hands with Abbey Vet!

went to the PDSA in Hendon for my beloved big puppy for a Cherry eye surgery on his right eyes…read more I have seen 2 local vets in my area and one of them quoted me an exorbitant price but none ever mentioned a possibility of 25% of relapse days after the surgery. My dog had his surgery on Friday, and I took a lengthy time off work to look after him for the time being. Within 2 days after the surgery I could clearly see the operation has not been successful the gland was starting to relapse again. I went to the PDSA on Monday again and complained with the nurse and vet. They could clearly see the gland was relapsing and all the vet could says was to continue the drop and maybe come back later for another surgery with extra cost again. I could not understand why I have to pay again for something that has not been done nor rectify. The vet argued that the dog left the hospital fine which I strongly disagreed. My dog showed no signs of an operation, no stitches, nothing really... How the issue occurred again 72 hours only after a surgery? Finally, the vet mumbled something and left the me in the room with the nurse. I would not recommend these services at PDSA Hendon, from the staunch when you open the door, the receptionist giggling in front of you rather than looking after customers, the late time to be seen to the charlatans vets. I dis-encouraged one of my friend go there the next as the services were appalling and the very poor experience I had there. I felt robbed of £200 especially being a family of 6 and the summer holidays looming when I only think of caring for my dog... I am so disappointed to say the least. How dare you asking me to fork out another £200.00 for the very same injury? I will never take my dog in these premises again. I cannot think of asking for any better in term of care for my many cats…read more Both vets Albert and Jose offer the best treatments and care and I am 100% satisfied with their kind attitude towards my pets. I changed from a local unsatisfactory surgery to The Vet's and I am glad I did. All the staff are so friendly and always doing their very best showing so much care and love for animals. My cats are always relaxed when visiting the surgery which was not always so with various previous vets. I highly recommend.
