We went here initially because we thought it was a Shanghainese restaurant ,only to find that it had changed and is now a Sichuan style cuisine restaurant. But not a problem we still went in. When we went in you could tell it had just had a good clean up / paint job etc as it was spotless all over. The windows were open as it was a beautiful summers night and though it was a busy city fringe street it was still nice to sit by the window and watch the world go by and admire the flowering plants and trees . Anyway about the restaurant. The staff were good, very welcoming , good efficient service and always waiting there should you need anything. As for the food we ordered a Mao dish( a traditionally hot and spicy dish ), spicy deep fried chicken and pork in soy sauce. They were all pretty quick coming out from ordering to on the table . As for taste they were all as good tasting as they look on the photos. The price worked out not too bad either. All in all a good experience , good location, excellent service and food.Highly recommend. Hopefully it will be there for a long time to come. read more
