Root Beer Float (comes with extra soda from the can on the side)
Kathryn G.

Love it! Went through the drive through on a Saturday evening around 7:30 and was in and out in under 5 minutes! I ordered just a small chocolate soft serve in a cup, and my boyfriend got the root beer float. The soft serve is so thick and decadent, and I loved how the root beer float came with the extra soda in the can that they didn't use so you can drink it or refill your float with it! Definitely will be back and recommend to others looking for a sweet treat!

I come here once in a while, and I like their ice cream, flavor wise it's delicious, the service is prompt and fast, I usually go in an out in no time, they are polite and service is exceptional I usually order their shakes, chocolate dipped cones, and the last one I tried was the cherry dipped waffle cones and that was so good. I definitely recommend this location, and their ice cream and shakes in general

Twistee Treat never fails when craving an after dinner treat or an all day treat. The store is easily identified for its cone shaped form. They sell soft serve ice cream in different forms. My go to is the cake cone with strawberry and chocolate, sometimes dipped in chocolate. This is my long time favorite. Other items include cookiewiches, waffle tacos, twirls and more. From the twirls the oreo twirl is amazing! I particularly like this location because it has outdoor seating and a drive-thru ( which is convenient on a rainy Florida day). I have always had great service here and the vibe is super chill. It gets busy at nights so be prepared to wait a little bit.

A reliable spot for ice cream near UCF! Visited this past weekend and they were super quick with our orders. Ordered a small brownie and cheesecake twirl and it was just the sweet treat I needed. If you're a UCF student, show them your ID for a discount!

What a concoction it reminds me of the ice cream taco I had has a kid chasing the ice cream truck down. I think we could elevate this flavor wise is if it was fresh made before serving instead of a frozen block. Taco 5/10 Ice Cream 7/10 Dip Cone 5/10

I'm not a huge ice cream fan (which is probably a shock to a lot of people), but there's something about this building that screams ice cream. It makes you want to have something cold and creamy, even on a chilly 60 degree Florida evening. I'll admit, I know how to eat! Buuuuut, I do not know how to eat ice cream. It takes me forever because it's cold and it usually is all melty by the time I finish it. Cones are my enemy as it ends up dripping all over my hands and shoe and whatever else is underneath me (look out below). To solve this problem, I usually order in a cup or bowl, or I order a milkshake.. After eating Steak and Shake, then Taco Bell, I wasn't too hungry and wasn't going to get anything, but the Hershey's Syrup shake caught my eye. I asked the clerk behind the glass and he overexplained what Hershey's syrup was (as if?), then explained it's Hershey's syrup and vanilla ice cream by default (my word, not his) and you could put chocolate ice cream if you want. I did the classic vanilla and Hershey's syrup as that's what I used to make when I was a strapping young lad. I wanted to get one of the Waffle Tacos which looked good, but the price for one was 5.79, which seemed high. There were 4 different ones to choose from and maybe I'll get one when I'm in the mood to spend more and get less. Remember when Taco Bell had the Choice Taco? That was a match made in taco heaven (also known is my stomach). Mrs. S loves Twistee Treat and goes a lot more often, and I'll admit that when I'm in the mood for some ice cream, this place is on the short list of places to go. I may even tag along more often. Too bad I found this out in January! SOAB!

I have a serious sweet tooth. And one of my go-to favorites is a simple soft serve cone with chocolate sprinkles. I normally frequent the Twistee Treat down the street but we happened to be near this location tonight. This is a newer location with decent seating and lighting. It's super clean and the staff were friendly and took care of us quickly. My soft serve was super thick and creamy, just like I like it. It really hit the spot! The menu varies from the other location so I gather the franchisees have a lot of control over their menus and pricing. The prices here are a little higher but seemed fair. The had a bunch of folks working and everyone was pretty busy; even on a chilly night in January. :)

I always pass this place on the way to UCF campus but never stopped by but I always hear my friends raving about it so I decided to check it out. First off, the workers are really nice and if you have a UCF ID, you can get a discount! The portions are pretty big, I got a small waffle cone and my roommates got a small twirl and none of us finished it. Flavor wise, the ice cream melts pretty fast in comparison to other soft serves I've have around Orlando and it's more watery than creamy. The hot fudge topping was delicious but the s'mores crumbs I got tasted pretty stale. The waffle cone however, was crispy and the vanilla soft serve was a mediocre good vanilla but the strawberry soft serve was super artificial tasting. Might come back to try other things on the menu and give it another chance though!

This is the first time that I have stopped at this particular location. Noticed closer to my house, I usually have gone to the one further east on East Colonial Drive heading towards Bithlo. My son and I both had the pistachio twirl with Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. I have always liked Twistee treats pistachio ice cream and the addition of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup was a great blend. The location was pretty busy with the drive-thru, however my son and I pulled up and walk to the window and were served in no time flat. Additional recommendations instead of the twirl would be the milkshakes, ice cream cones, pretty much anything on the menu. The next time you were in the mood for ice cream, I recommend a stop here. It is in front of me Denny's and next to where the old Taco Bell was.

This ice cream was delicious! There were so many flavors and combinations and add ins it was hard to choose. I was rather boring, getting a small chocolate vanilla twist with rainbow sprinkles- but I had zero regrets, it was amazing. And it was huge for the price! A pleasant surprise was that when I walked up to the window with my dog, I was immediately offered a pup cup! Wally was thrilled- he really enjoyed his vanilla ice cream and mini cookie bone on top! Something to note though- they have no sugar free items on the menu.

Always a delicious treat! Never disappointed here for some flavorful soft serve. My go-to is the vanilla cone with rainbow sprinkles! Outdoor seating only. Prices are reasonable & service is average.

I felt rushed at the window service since I guess they were trying to close to drive through only... It's my fault for ordering an ice cream cone on such a humid day. It melted so fast and it was very messy. They swiped my card like 5 times so hopefully there's no extra charges. Staff should be friendlier and offer more napkins when serving. I also think it would be more sanitary for staff to wear gloves while serving.

Good ice cream, but got a bit messy as the ice cream was melting through the bottom of the cone. Wish they'd line the inside bottom of the cone with chocolate to keep it from getting messy.

Moron clearly doesn't know the difference between vanilla with fudge and chocolate ice creams. Ruined my experience.

It took about 15 minutes before we were serviced, but the staff behind the counter was working hard. Sampaguita has unique flavors, such as Ube. They were very accommodating and they let us try a bunch of different flavors. I was surprised because every flavor that I tried wasn't too sweet like ice cream typically is. My friend and I ordered the Ube brownie with Ube whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. It was good but also not too sweet. Personally I think the ice cream actually wasn't sweet enough. With the hype that Sampaguita gets, I was expecting to be blown out of the water, but it was a little underwhelming. I think there's better ice cream in Orlando. The dining room is really cute and there's actually a lot of tables. It's very comfortable to sit there and hang out with friends.
