Ordered: brown sugar bubble milk tea Parking: street parking…read moreor parking lot I was in the area and wanted to try a new bubble tea. This is a cute shop near UC and they have post it notes to draw and decorate the shop. They were not busy, I ordered on a kiosk and my drink was ready within minutes. The boba was nice and chewy. I drink was average overall, I wished it had more ice, the flavor was average.

I like Drop In Tea. It is in such a convenient location around UC, so those around campus (which…read moreare probably a great target market for this type of tea) can stop by for some affordable treats. There are many options for the drinks (milk-based tea or fruit base, etc)..and, if you want, you can customize it however you like your drinks (ice, sweetness, topping, etc), too. I had a large brown sugar milk tea and thought it tasted good. I don't like my tea too sweet, and I found 30% sugar perfect (not too plain and not too sweet either). The boba that came with it was still bouncy and had the right chewy (and not soggy) consistency. The tea itself was probably around $7. But for the whole grand scheme of how fast prices are rising these days due to inflation, I thought the prices were still more stomach-able (is that even a word?) among students /crowds looking for quick snacks/something light. The only things that may be less optimal were: 1) small store size (there weren't many seats inside the store; so chances are you are going to take it to go) and 2) they didn't seem to have hot options (you can sure ask them..but I'm not sure how that will taste)..so this shop may not be a great idea when it's super cold outside/in the winter.

From 5 to 1…read more.. Jungle Jim's East has introduced us to countless foods and products that we likely never would have discovered otherwise. For many years, our weekly routine was to stop at Sam's Club for staples, then head straight to Jungle Jim's. We'd grab a beer, leisurely wander the aisles, pick up the rest of our grocery list, and almost always leave with a few unexpected treasures. Unfortunately, over the past several months we've noticed a steady decline in the overall shopping experience. Prices have increased noticeably, the quality and consistency of the produce department no longer seem to be what they once were, and many everyday grocery items have disappeared from the shelves. These aren't obscure products, but rather common items that many shoppers regularly purchase. After asking about the changes, a checkout clerk confirmed that Jungle Jim's is intentionally shifting away from being a traditional grocery store and focusing more heavily on its international market offerings. While we understand and respect that business decision, it no longer aligns with the reason we originally shopped there. What made Jungle Jim's special for us was the combination of unique international products and the ability to complete most of our regular grocery shopping in the same trip. As that balance has changed, we've found ourselves making additional stops elsewhere to find basic items, often at better prices. As a result, we've decided to move most of our grocery shopping back to Kroger. We'll still visit Jungle Jim's occasionally for specialty and international products, but sadly it is no longer our primary grocery destination. We sincerely hope management reconsiders the direction of the store, because we'd love to return to the Jungle Jim's experience that made us loyal customers for so many years.

The service was good , the worker was nice enough and she made the drinks as well as working as a cashier so you got to appreciate that. I like how their menu has options like create your own tea with tons of different syrup and popping bubble options - it's also not too expensive. Their menu is not for the milk tea lover tho or the authentic bubble tea lover but if you love the fruit tea then this place is a gem! I got the earl grey black tea with pineapple and dragon fruit syrup and passion fruit popping bubbles - it was delicious not overly sweet and I liked how I could taste the notes of the black tea. I will be back and they have monthly rotating drinks.

This was the worst way to be giving out a flight to go... they toppled over and half of it spilled out as this carrier is not meant for the cups you have. They didn't fit and moved around. Having no tops or covers didn't help. For the fact that it's all to go ordering, not sure how you expect me to carry this in a car without making a mess. It was a waste of money since it all spilled out. It was beautiful and from what was left and I could taste it was creamy and good, but not happy about paying $15 for this just to have it spill all over, not to mention make a mess in my car. I should have asked for a refund right there but the girl was so nice and apologized that this was all they had and no lids saying I'm sorry know it's not ideal.
