We LOVE Plainfield lanes. We usually only go on Saturdays during cosmic bowling and they usually let you pic the music and there usually isn't too long of a wait considering we usually have a group of 10+. Bar pricing isn't too terrible and shes usually fast. And surprisingly the food isn't bad. We've had pizza, burgers, fries, cheese breadsticks, ice cream etc and it all is pretty tasty. Small arcade area but it's perfect for waiting for lanes and something to keep you busy. They have an escape room but we haven't tried it yet. All in all it's always a fun Saturday night! read more

We stopped by because we have seen this place for last year. We waited at the bar with 8 other people all who had drinks. We watched the bartenders high five and talk as well as refill the straws for 20 minutes and never once acknowledged our existence. We are both 15 year hospitality workers and it was embarrassing and unacceptable, not to at least say I'll be right with you. We will never come back and anyone who literally wants service shouldn't either. And the only reason I'm giving 1 star because I couldn't give anything less read more

we just had our kids birthday party here. it was for our 13 year old daughter and 11 year old son. My kids said best birthday birthday ever!!!!!!! It was great not worry about anything. Emily our party host made sure sure that every and anything we could possibly think of and even the things we didn't think of were taken care of. We had the greatest time. thank you Emily for a amazing party!!!!!! read more

Came with a friend for cosmic bowling and it was so fun. They have music playing and cool lights. They have pizza and other stuff to eat and drink and they have a separate bar area but you can drink while bowling lol. They even have pool tables which is cool. Would come again. read more

Had a great time Sunday after church bowling at Plainfield Lanes. Food was good too! Grandson appreciated arcade but did manage to bowl a full game which was good for a 4 year old. Love the bowling assistance for youngsters. read more

This is probably the cheapest bowling alley in the area. The food isn't great but it's okay. They have an escape room which is really fun for a group, and if you download an app you can request to play whichever song you want. read more

Twisted Pin - Bowling Near Me - Plainfield, Illinois

I came here with my grandkids for bowling. We had a great time. Music videos were fun too. Place and restrooms were very clean.

We had family In from out of town so we planned an outing for six. We had soooo much fun with Kate At the escape room. Then we bowled for 1.5 hours with food and drinks. We even went to the bar after for a few cocktails. Everything was spectacular from the service to the food to the cleanliness. Five stars from all of us! read more

Staff is very friendly and attentive. Food has been good every time we've ordered. Will definitely be back.

This is an amazing place for a kid's birthday party. Our daughter had her birthday here today (4/7/2018) and Kami did an incredible job with the kids. We literally had to do nothing beyond setting it up and filling out the invitations Plainfield Lanes provided. Compared to other parties, this was a great value for 3 hours (1 hour bowling/1 hour for feed and dessert/1 hour game room). Not only would I suggest you have your next kid's party here, but that you specifically ask to see if Kami can do your party. read more

We chose this place a long time ago, because it was close to home. We choose to go here now regularly because we are always satisfied with our experience. They usually have lanes open and if they don't, it's only about a 20 minute wait. Colin and Jillian at the front desk are always amazing help for anything we need and to make our experience pleasurable. We appreciate everything that has been done here and we always have an enjoyable experience here. I would recommend Plainfield at least anyone. read more

Had such a wonderful experience at plainfield lanes for my sons 8th birthday. Service was wonderful from the moment I put down my deposit a month ago until the day of his birthday. Everyone is so pleasant and friendly. Jackie and Katie where my party host and they did such an awesome job. They took care of everything from start to finish. They kept the kids entertained the whole time. They where Very attentive to all the kids. I highly recommend throwing your kids birthday party here if you just want to show up and be worry free for the day of your event! read more

Plainfield lanes was an AMAZING place to host our 6 year old's birthday party! Him and his 10 friends had A BLAST! Cass (party helper) was wonderful and did all the work! The kids were able to bowl, eat some pretty delicious pizza and cupcakes, open gifts, AND play games (all provided I the party package)! My husband and I literally didn't lift a finger. I would 100% recommend. read more

I had my sons 11th bithrday party at Plainfield Lanes. It was awesome. There were 11 kids at the party and Katelyn handled everything for us. She is amazing and made it a fun party for the kids and a relaxing event for the parents. It was completely stress free because she managed everyting. read more

We had a birthday party for my 8 year old son at Plainfield lanes and it was amazing! Nick and Lydia were our party hosts (13 kids total) and they were so great with the kids. Not only did they keep them entertained but also on track so that we all moved through the different parts of the party with ease and on time! I was nervous about keeping track of everyone but they literally took care of everything so my husband and I could sit back and enjoy watching them all have a fun time! Highly recommend and very impressed! read more

Had a great time bowling with the family. Also great food at reasonable prices. Will definitely go bowling here again soon!

What a great place! Drove by so many times but never stopped. Took my 9 year old grandson and a friend for some bowling. One of the attendants actually came over and gave an impromptu lesson! Then on to the arcade! $10 goes a long way and both boys came away with some nice prizes. Kate and Jillian were great! We will be back! And very price effective for an evening with Grandma!! read more

My family and I are escape room junkies and this one was great! We have done a few in other arcade type businesses and they were just cashing in on the craze. Not Plainfield Lanes! It was a great room. It has a fair amount of technology, the puzzles were awesome, and the game master was spot on! If you are in the area and looking for a good room, we can happily recommend this one :) Planning tips - For an experienced escape roomer, 3-4 people worked well. And our favorite thing, they had great lighting! It wasn't too dark to function. read more

Great and safe place for my family. This place was clean, organized and fun. Bowling lanes and equipment were all working fine and there were no worries regarding cleanliness of the tables, bowling balls, or lane equipment. Will visit again. read more

This is a very nice bowling alley with a bar, food, an arcade, and an escape room. The service was very quick with food and the cheese fries were phenomenal. They have lots of lanes and it's a well sized building. I have been here multiple times and it is by far my favorite place for hanging out with friends. read more

We booked our daughters birthday party at Plainfield Lanes and we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of energy and attentiveness from our party pro, Emily! She was amazing, the other parents also commented on how great she was throughout the entire party. The bowling alley itself is very clean and updated along with the arcade & laser maze. What a fun day we had, the kids had a blast and didn't want to leave. We can't wait to come back to try the escape room. Keep up the great work! read more

I went with my friends and let me say they will rip you off they charged us around $50 for only 4 people. This "bowling alley" is a sorry excuse of a business and their service makes me sick go somewhere else if you want to have fun at a reasonable price. read more

We have wanted to try an escape room for a long time. My daughters and I finally went to the one at Plainfield Lanes. I am SO glad we did! We had a BLAST! We were so worried we wouldn't be able to figure out any clues, but the Gamemaster we had was a wonderful girl who made it incredibly fun. It was challenging, but very exciting. We didn't win, but that doesn't matter. We did much better than I thought we would and had the best time doing it! read more

Been going here for years and was a fantastic time, finally go as a group and have to wait for 45 minutes, but not allowed to leave the building, so I have to spend more money on games to fill the time. Finally my turn comes up and I get two lanes for an absurd amount of money (never before has this place costed this much). We pay for 3 games, but get interrupted by the waiting staff who kicks us out, due to inactivity. One of our players had a medical emergency and we decided to keep the game on hold. He comes back and our lane is shut down. I go and request a refund and the manager very disrespectfully tells us there are none and we should have read whatever fine print he was referring to. He sucks at customer service and clearly has issues at home. Shouldn't be allowed to manage anywhere I certainly wouldn't want him working for me. Gets a key and think he owns the place when he clearly has nothing else in life. All I wanted was a little respect and a refund man. I hope you take that into consideration next time. Everyone else was great except the cleaning girl who tried taking down to me while I was trying to clean up. Still will probably be back but during the day when there's a different staff. read more

Great, fun music and atmosphere. Clean. Food was actually good, but did take awhile to be served and there weren't many people there. Little arcade to play in as well. read more

Had a small escape room work outing and needless to say the staff and the room were awesome. Had a great time.

I had my son's 6th birthday party here and it went great. Nina was a great party host. She handled everything while my wife and I got to sit back and enjoy the party. The kids had a great time. It was reasonably priced considering the party included everything food, cupcakes and even goodie bags. I would highly recommend this bowling alley. read more

Great facilities, clean, newer shoes. They were very accommodating to my 4 year old. The not so great parts were the prices..... ouch! We played 3 games and it was over $35 with shoes for 3 of us. It was also a bummer when our son wanted to play one of the arcade games but you have to buy some sort of card with credit on it and then use that. Super inconvenient for someone looking to play one game on the way out. read more

Had a lot of fun at this challenging escape room! Very difficult but fun. Kate was awesome too.

We had our son's birthday party at Plainfield Lanes. It was awesome! Party staff did everything! Our Party Helper Nick was so friendly and welcoming, really outstanding. He even handled a group of 5 - 6 year olds like a Pro- kept them entertained and bowling. They all had so much fun. Would def recommend booking a party with them. read more

Was trying to plan a party and owner was super rude. I was trying to book two parties at the same time and she tried to charged me for one party for 10 people and $30 for each additional person. Super rude not accommodating and acted like she did not even want our business. read more

My friends and I did the escape room here and it was really fun. Our person that helped us her name is Haliey and she was really nice and had fun watching us. She helped us when we were struggling and we figured out her clues. My friends and I we were saying you are probably having fun with this and on the screen she said "I am" and we laughed. We had a great time I totally recommend going to do the escape room with your friends or family. read more

I am so sad about the new ownership. Had two recent incidents. They have updated the physical aspect of the facility but that personal, family feeling we got with Kevin is gone. My son wanted his bday party there. I called for 5 days with no return phone call. I had to go in to make the arrangements. Because he is a teenager, he just didn't want Pizza, he wanted to add appetizers. They made me order individual appetizers off the menu and couldn't accommodate platters for a group. Every summer the old owner use to allow our kids to use the summer coupon program because they were special needs but would tell us it was okay and encourage us to sign up. So we did this summer and the new owners would not let kids redeem the coupons. KEVIN WHERE ARE YOU. THE FAMILY FEELING YOU BUILT UP WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS IS GONE. Get a clue new guy. The only redeeming factor is the old employees he kept and the remodeling. read more

Had a group of friend because we all don't get to go out much because of work, worst experience ever !!!! The bartender was rude , cut us all off after 1 drink !?!!! No thanks , spend your money elsewhere read more

I want to give a huge shout out to Nick our party host. He was wonderful and kept 8 nine yr olds entertained and semi listening during our birthday party. The whole experience was exceptional. 2.5 hrs of entertainment and activity. Pizza fries and cupcakes were good to boot. Planning a young child's birthday party was a breeze. Booked online, confirmed some details over the phone and then Hailey and Tess handled it all. Managing 17 energetic 7yos was a breeze for these ladies and the adults were able to sit back and enjoy watching the kids enjoy the party without the stress. Plainfield Lanes covers every little detail (I didn't even need to bring candles for the cupcakes) and you just show up and enjoy the day. Thanks for a great birthday party! My son said "this was an an amazing day!" read more

We went there for our grandson's birthday and were treated poorly. I will never go there again even if they paid me. We were told very rudely if we didn't buy their party package that would could not bring in cake or presents. I can understand the cake but presents? Even though we bought pizza, soda, drinks, bowling and tokens. It gets better, when the pizza comes, I ask the girl if we can get plates and napkins and she tells me to go get up and get them myself. Wow! Good luck if you don't buy their package. Apparently we are not valued customers. read more

ESCAPE ROOM WAS SO MYCH FUN!!!! My husband and daughter and I had never been to an Escape Room but had wanted to for a long time. We decided to go to Plainfield Lanes and we had the best time. It was challenging but not frustrating. Our game master kept an eye on us an steered us along when we needed it. He actually made up funny nicknames for us... we were cracking up! So much fun. Hurry and get more rooms!!! We are ready to come back!!!!!! read more
