I communicated via email with Teresa after filling out their New Client Application on their website. Teresa was quick to respond initially and every time after that as I kept thinking of more questions to ask. I was really impressed with their website and the level of detail it provided. I was also impressed with how responsive Teresa was. I asked who our groomer would be and Teresa said her name was Deanne. I didn't see any Yelp reviews about Deanne and didn't see a bio on their webpage about her. That worried me a bit because, like all dog moms and dads, you want the best for your babies. So, I asked Teresa if she could tell me a bit about Deanne and her grooming background. Teresa not only told me in her own words about Deanne but also included a write up that Deanne drafted about herself and sent a picture of her so we'd know what she looked like. They give you a two hour window for your appointment time and I asked if she could please have Deanne call us when she was on her way to our house so we could have our two dogs ready to go. Deanne called when she was on her way. I was shocked because nowadays it seems to be really rare to have someone pay attention to those small but important details. Deanne was kind to my husband and I and our dogs and they looked wonderful when they were done. Just FYI, although Deanne began with Happy Tails in December 2018, she has been grooming since 1994. Needless to say, we were thrilled with Happy Tails from beginning to end and will be on a regular schedule with Deanne going forward.

Then we saw Happy Tails on Yelp and all their 5 star reviews. We agree!! Jackie was wonderful with our two rambunctious puppies and our cranky old boy. One of our girls needed a cut and we only knew we wanted her cut short and wanted to keep her ears and tail a bit fluffy. Jackie nailed it!!! Next time we're going to make an appointment for our sphynx, Pelon. Jackie has a sphynx herself so she's familiar with how they (well, their ears and nails) can get between baths. We may not have yet found primary care physicians but our beasts have found their groomer! #priorities

So only having him in from my house to the mobile was great. He is very skittish around people he don't know. They did a great job shaving him and making him feel good. My boys look amazing!…read more I have an Australian Shepherd and a Black Labrador Retriever. They're both big dogs, and neither one is exactly known for making a groomer's job easy. DHDC Mobile Pet Grooming absolutely knocked it out of the park. From the beginning, communication was excellent. I received text messages confirming my appointment window ahead of time, and on the day of my appointment they even let me know the groomer might be running a little behind. Ironically, he wasn't behind at all. I was given a two-hour arrival window of 3:00-5:00 p.m., and Corey arrived right around 4:00. That's about as perfect as you can ask for. The biggest reason we'll continue using DHDC, however, is Corey himself. My Australian Shepherd has previously been labeled as "aggressive" by other groomers when handling his paws and underbelly. Naturally, I asked Corey how he did. His response? "No aggression. He just got a little restless and wanted to lay down." That told me everything I needed to know. Waylon wasn't a problem dog. He just needed someone patient enough to work with him. Both of our boys look fantastic, but our Aussie required the most attention. Between the Grinch paws, the leg feathers, and enough rear-end fluff to qualify for its own ZIP code, he had plenty of work ahead of him. Corey cleaned him up beautifully while still keeping that classic Aussie look. All in all, the dogs are happy, I am happy, and our air purifiers are happy. I've already booked their maintenance grooming, which is probably the best recommendation I can give.

Please also note the hours and the date on the email. I called on a Sunday and with the expectation of leaving a message and spoke to her and my first question to her was if she had openings. If you are so booked up four months out you don't expect me to believe that you didn't know that. Why not simply say I'm sorry I wasted your time and keep your excuses to yourself. I stand by the facts not feelings regarding this business and additionally if you wanted to respond ;6 months later is for sure too late. Maybe not let me guess you were busy being that you are at capacity!

You are not spending time with the owner, your dog is and she creates a space where dogs aren't disrespected and gets that best cut. I have three dogs: a yorkie poo, medium poodle, and bernedoodle. And each time they come home with the most perfect grooming. 20/10 recommend Again, the owner does have a strong personality but there was a time where I walked in a few minutes early and she was still finishing up my poodle. She tends to get matted in the bum area and my dog would try to nip her but the owner was so patient with her and talked to her like a person. The owner didn't force her to stay still and waited until til my dog was ready to resume. The owner could have told me she couldn't finish and asked me not to come back, but she didn't. She was determined to finish her work and worked with the dog to make she was comfortable.
