The owner was nice, friendly, and helpful with making my selection. I forgot the name of my order, but the flavors were watermelon and apple jolly ranch. He proceeded to tell me how he uses fresh fruit to curate his flavors and the only addition to his drinks, is alcohol. Well, he is on to something. I ordered a large for $15.50. The taste was fruity instead of watery, thumbs up... it tasted good in a none slurpee way, consistent thru to the last sip. Now on the other hand, it needed a better brand of rum or more of it. Yelp, it was week. For $15.50 I was expecting more.

I bust a U and drove thru! So glad I did. I'm horrible w/names but I chopped up with the owner. Nice guy! Told him I was in town from Northern California. He shared some of his history w/me (how he met a woman on a visit and now she's his wife and business partner). That's sweet & not every couple can be business partners. Back to the daiquiri. I got the Island Breeze one day. I went back 2-3 days later and got a mango-something that had Tajín in it. He suggested it and it was great. I love frozen drinks, the only thing missing was the umbrella. As hot as it was every damn day, if I thought my liver could've handled it, I would've had a couple every day!! They do sell it by the gallon. Great convo, great service & Great Daiquiris!!!

It's truly such a good spot for pizza and pasta and reminds of me of Jupiter & Pizza Waffles in Sugar Land in terms of atmosphere and vibe. They have plenty of unique options for pizza which I really look forward to trying them all. They also have some other unique menu items too. If I lived closer here, I'd definitely be visiting more often. We had the pickle pizza with pepperoni added on it as well as the totally baked Bolognese. Everything comes out hot and fresh, and the pizza is always as good as I remember it. I had the Bolognese for the first time this visit and it was delicious. A little on the heavy side but it's meaty and creamy with the cheese. Their house-made ranch is something else, I'm more of a bleu cheese guy but my girlfriend likes ranch better so we got that but I gotta say that ranch is reallyyyy good so I'd recommend trying that with your pizza too. Service is fast, you can choose to sit anywhere when you walk in. They get to you fairly quickly. I forget everything else I had in the past, but the service and food never disappoint!

My wife had the cheeseburger pizza and loved it, I ordered the short rib and substituted the potatoes for Brussels sprouts. It was delicious and I ate every bite. It's a great casual date spot with yummy food, a chill atmosphere and you self order at the bar if you sit outside. Highly recommend!!

Best Seafood Gumbo ever! I'm a huge fan of Seafood Gumbo,…read moreeat it almost every time it's available. Tommy's has the best Seafood Gumbo I have ever eaten. A deep Dark Roux and more shrimp and crab than I would expect. Service is very attentive and Nick, the owner, checks on the tables, Making sure everyone is well taken care of! The rest of our food was also very good, as were the cocktails. Definitely an establishment I will frequent.

A few open tables to the right and several open tables to the very far left (where additional restrooms are). The hosts said hi.. it was a little awkward so, I said Hi there, a table for two please. She said well, do you have a reservation? I said no, we don't. Her and the other hostesses looked at each other, looked back at us, the hostesses that wasn't the one who greeted us, grabbed our menus and said follow me. We sat at a high top table in the bar area, we were on the far left, right by a wall and directly under a TV. We sat there for a while, the tables next to us were getting service, their server went by their table twice before someone came to our table. I hate waiving my hand a a server, but we could only look at the same menu for so long so, I gave a little hand gesture to catch her attention. She put her finger up and said someone will be with you. I looked at my husband and asked him if he wanted to go somewhere else. Before he could answer our server finally came to our table. There was no apology, no explanation for why we waited for so long, nothing but, what can I get for y'all to drink. We ordered our drinks, she tried walking off, but I said can we please also order the oysters Rockefeller. She brought us water and bread. The bread was room temperature, not warm. Not sure if it's supposed to be warm but, it seems like it should be. We waited for our drinks. The bartender was busy making drinks and taking care of people who were sitting at the bar. Our oysters came to our table before our drinks did and our server was no where to be found. The oysters were all great but, some were on the smaller side. This was not a great start. Our drinks and server finally arrived. We ordered the escargot and the wedge salad. Our server did let us know that the romaine lettuce was grilled. She asked us if we wanted it grilled or did we prefer it cold. We chose cold and I thanked her for letting us know and that she was clutch! She actually cracked a smile and started being more friendly. We also asked for an extra plate because we were going to split the salad, she said oh, I will have the salad split for y'all. After she walked away, I looked at my husband and said finally! I thought the escargot was delicious, my husband wasn't a fan. He had never had escargot before and probably never will. I will gladly eat his! The wedge salads were delicious too! Our server came by to check on us, we ordered two more drinks. Our server was being friendly and she was even talkative! It was actually nice to see that. We ordered the crab cakes. They were good, but not seared or cooked evenly. The sauce to dip them in was really good! After all that, we had enough. I wish that I would've asked for our servers name. She had brown hair, about 5'3"-5'5". Our experience wasn't the best at all, but at the end of our experience, it was better than the start. Will we be back? Not sure.. if we do, we will try to sit at the bar.

This review has great energy--you just need it tightened and cleaned 1000 dé cinco estrellas!…read more We visited El Jefe Pollo Asados (620 Nassau Rd in Webster) after a long day of touristy activities, exhausted, with a group of seven--including picky kids. We had so many restaurant options but chose this place because of the high ratings... and I'm so glad we did. I'll be honest--when we first arrived, I wasn't impressed with the outside or the area. I was a little hesitant going in. But the moment we walked through the doors, everything changed. The place felt welcoming, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere--yes, a little loud--but in a good way. It's that lively Mexican vibe: music, micheladas, carne asada... all of it. We were just tired, so I think I noticed it more. Now let's talk about the food... I ordered the Maestro Plate but swapped the meat for short rib costillas--and OH. MY. GOSH. These were hands down some of the best costillas I've ever had. Juicy, tender, packed with flavor. I cleaned those bones completely--every single bite. The dish was served with perfectly grilled "nopales" and queso panela, que ricura! Ahhh, and of course the charro beans and rice that I barely made a dent in. The portions? HUGE. Two of us shared one plate and still had leftovers--and we can eat! Now this part says everything: my grandson, who is on the spectrum and very picky, ordered pollo asado... and he tore into it. No complaints, no hesitation--he finished his entire plate. That alone speaks volumes. My daughter had the birria (and she's a birria critic), and even she couldn't finish her plate because of how generous the portion was--but she said it was full of flavor and really good. My older grandson (big growing boy with an equally big appetite) had a birria quesadilla--again, huge portion--and even he couldn't finish it, which never happens. To top it all off, the owner surprised us with a complimentary dessert--warm, soft, pillowy sopapillas with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. The kids were FULL... and still devoured every last bite. Not a crumb left. And let's talk about pricing... honey. Compared to Austin? This was a steal. I was honestly shocked at how affordable it was for the quality and portion sizes. Amazing food, generous portions, great service, and a place that turned my hesitation into loyalty. They've earned our business--100%. We will absolutely be back next time we're in town.

Getting to this area from Pearland is much easier than heading into Houston so I was more than happy to come here. I've been here a couple of times and the most recent visit brought me and a party bus full of friends here on a Saturday night. The place gets busy but parking hasn't been an issue on any of my visits. It's a narrow bar that may seem tight, but it keeps going towards the back with more seating as well as a spacious patio. Customer service is always great and the bartenders know their stuff here. They have a pretty extensive drink menu here and there is something for everyone's preferences. They have a long list of cocktails and they can make you anything you want as well. The staff are experts here. They also have an impressive bourbon collections with about 200 kinds to choose from. Along with their cocktails, they have a long list of martinis. I love a good martini and here they have so many options. You can't go wrong with my favorite espresso martini, but the one that wowed me here was the Cucumber Patch. Cucumber flavor profile is not typically something I seek out, but I was in the mood for something refreshing and this was suggested to me. Get it and thank me later. As far as food goes, they have a separate BBQ business on site that sells some food. Don't sleep on the Bay Area if you are looking for a nice cocktail. This place will quickly be one of your favorites. I will surely be back.

I've driven by a countless number of times, and you'd never really know it's there. But walking in, you immediately get that local dive bar kinda vibe in the best way possible. I met up with some friends here for a chill drink after work, and to our surprise it was karaoke night! I have to applaud the regulars here because they can really SING! But don't be shy if you can't, they were welcome to everyone going up for a song. As far as drinks go, I had the Alimony. I was sold on it because it's gin, guava juice and elderflower liquor. Balanced, not too sweet, and had a little bit of sparkling effervescence. Pair that with a shot or a beer, and we were having a great time catching up with old friends. I don't remember our bartender's name, but she gave us great service. Overall 10/10 recommend the Davenport Lounge Clear Lake if you're looking for where the locals go, trust me they know best.
