Bartender Wen is very rude. She brings her personal problems into this place of business. Im very shocked she still works here.The absolute worst bartender I've ever come across. Very mean and unprofessional to paying customers. I used to love coming to this place, and have spent a lot of money here. The most unprofessional situation I've ever experienced was when I caught her in a lie saying the previous bartender had cut me off, (after 2 drinks) right after, I found out she never did. When I asked Wen why she lied, she lost control, got pissed off and banned me and failed to address or explain anything. read more

I was looking for an Irish pub for St. Patrick's Day. The bar was dark and smokey. This is really more of a dive bar with some "Irish" i.e. Guinness posters, and darts thrown in. Service was slow. There was a guy working the bar, that then decided to do nothing, but kept saying someone would serve us. He just waited for one of the women to free up to take our order. Eventually, a woman freed up and she was nice enough. There were no Irish ciders so I settled for an Angry Orchard. We sat outside, had our one drink, and left. No need to go back. read more

Well, if you want a dive bar, then this is what it. I love this place. You know it is old school when people can smoke in the bar. One of the patrons had his dog their which I think is awesome! This was an extraordinary place to visit. We went here on 4th of July 2019, and had a great experience. The parking around this place and the boardwalk was so crazy. We parked our bikes in front if the place, and I went in to ask if that was cool. The bartender was Athena and she said no problem. We bought a few drinks. She was such a nice person, and caring too. Best bartender I've ever come across. If I was a local I would come to this place often. Great experience all the way around. read more

Walked out of swamp shack to have some drinks her because they were playing good music. I was refused service because my Id wasn't legit. When it was a legit Texas Id. Asked to speak to the manager and apparently she was and didn't want a second opinion. I am 22 years old. read more

Pub with a prime location. Unfortunately the bartender has pulled a barstool behind the bar and that is her post for the night. She sits there eating and texting all night. She does get up often enough to fill drinks, if you can call it that. If you order a shot, the pour is exactly one ounce. Do not expect conversation, as the bartender is preoccupied with Facebook, or whatever is happening on her phone. This particular location should rock, with the literally thousands of industry people working on the boardwalk. Once again; prime location, bad service. As I write this the bartender is smoking a cigarrette as people are waiting for drinks. I don't know her name. She's blonde, and is the only bartender I have ever seen here at night.
