I also found everyone to be friendly and courteous. I never once felt out of place. I e-mailed my artwork to Cody, and he did a fantastic rendition of the original art. I only waited a few minutes before being brought into the shop for my ink on the day of my appointment. I was in the chair,for about 1-1/2 hours, and all I can say is Damn!!!!!!! I sat in the chair with my daughter and the lady began to put the black dots on her ears. She had to redo them like 6 times. So from there i knew something was going to go wrong. After she finally got them right she proceeds with the gun. Right side goes in. However, the back post didnt connect to the earing. I had to sit there and put the backpost on myself! Now left ear. Different gun. Same thing happens! I had to again put the backpost on myself! All i recieved was an apology and a send off. I wake up this morning to find her earing fell out! Now what do i do. I tried putting it back in but thats impossible without hurting her! I Do not reccomend this place. Go to Claires instead.

My ears were barely sore, no issues so far, and they provided a cleansing solution free with the piercing (which you only buy the earrings for). I found Taylor who is new to mystic addiction but literally does or almost has HUNDREDS of 5 star reviews throughout her work in Topeka. When I met Taylor she made me feel very comfortable due to her knowledge and professionalism of the piercing industry. Needless to say I walked out of there loving my new piercings and knowing I made the right decision by choosing Taylor to be my piercer! I will be back and I will never go anywhere else!

Went in to Mystic Addiction to have a piercing professionally changed. First impression wasn't…read moregreat as the piercer is rarely in and I was chasing him around for 3 weeks trying to get a 2 minute procedure done. When I finally was able to get my tongue piercing changed, I bought an acrylic piece and met with the piercer. He claimed that the piercer who did my tongue was wrong and placed it incorrectly and used the wrong jewelry, etc. I have never had issues with the original piercing. He took my then current titanium barbell out and did the acrylic one. He had such a hard time finding the ball's hole since it was black and red and eventually had to clamp my tongue to put it in. The twisting and pulling was pretty painful. Apparently, acrylic should not be in a piercing long-term, which was never said to me at all. I will say the front desk staff was nice and the place is very clean with appropriate sterilization and it seems great for tattoos.
