I ordered the kare-kare which I haven't had in years that seeing it in front of me made we want to devour the entire bowl of red-orange velvety soup with tender oxtails and tripes and yummy veggies. My coconut water on the shell was sweet but was room temp. Oversized, it was a great experience. Highly recommend!

The restaurant is part of the LJC Group of restaurants so it pretty much knows what it is doing. It offers mostly Kapampangan fare with a gourmet touch, so imagine the richness and strength Pampanga's cuisine is known and add a touch of sophistication. PROS: My SO and I went here for a date to celebrate something (I'm not sure what it was anymore, tbh.) and the place was perfect. It is intimate enough for good conversation and the ambiance was comfortable with its Filipino furniture and décor; The food is adequately filling and priced reasonably. The bagoong rice was actually good enough to be eaten on its own but we enjoyed its other offerings as well. CONS: it's a bit full during dinner rush on weekends so make sure you get a reservation so you can get seated immediately. TL;DR: Fresh and wonderfully cooked Kapampangan dishes to delight every taste bud.

The lumpia shanghai, kare kare, and crispy pata were pretty good but nothing overwhelming. The pork bbq was honestly a disappointment. It was just sour, not sweet and tangy like it should be. Service was decent and portions are generous but in terms of the taste there are many other options for traditional filipino food.

Prepare yourself for a wait during a holiday weekend. Lunchtime hour was about a 25 minute wait. They had plenty of traditional Filipino dishes to try. The family combo was our final choice since our group was over 10ppl. Family combo was sure a great option to share. There was sinigang, karekare, seafood and bbq plate to stab at, gulaman, fried fish. Leche flan dessert was delicious. There was plenty of food with just a bit to take to go. Everyone had full bellies. (Whew at least there's that lol) Bathroom isn't appealing prepare yourself to get toilet paper at the cashier next to it. Broken stall but the stall next to it was fine. It's cool they have a hand washing sink just outside the bathroom, which is super convenient. The tastiest plate of the order was the sinigang. Everything else was good as well not so bad !

Pasta with Meatball - they use linguini for the pasta which is cooked al dente with pomodoro sauce the way I like it, sweet with sour tinge from tomatoes. And the meatballs are not just your ordinary meatballs. They are stuffed with cheese for that wonderful cheesy surprise. Chicken Parmesan - It's a rice meal with big boneless breaded chicken cooked well with meat still juicy soft inside. It is topped with pomodoro sauce and gooey cheese. Smore Dip - For marshmallow lovers, here is an enjoyable sweet treat that a barkada will surely enjoy and have fun with. The mallows are burn and soften perfectly that when you dip your graham crackers, you will scoop a soft cloudy of sweet stickiness that melts-in-your-mouth.
