The crab boil was bursting with flavor -- rich, garlicky, and perfectly seasoned so every bite packed a punch. Portions were generous, and the prices were surprisingly affordable for the quality and freshness. What really made the experience stand out was the warm, family-friendly vibe. The staff treated us like old friends, making the whole meal feel relaxed and fun. The casual, welcoming ambiance is perfect for rolling up your sleeves, digging in, and enjoying great seafood with great company. This is the kind of place you leave with a full stomach, a happy heart, and maybe a little sauce on your shirt -- exactly how a crab boil should be.

There's no restroom inside but Atrium's is just right across. Clam Chowder: This was a good way to start our meal! Soup was thick, having a creamy texture that was filling enough along with some clam. Seafood Specialties: Main course of today's meal was mussels and shrimp. Before anything, I gotta mention how fun it was to eat everything with plastic gloves on. I've tried this with wings elsewhere and now seafood at Bag O' Shrimps; just pure fun! I still dare to put aside using a spoon to eat the rice drenched in their amazing sauces. Shrimps were fresh plus easy and fun to peel before dipping back into its amazing sauce before eating. We added corn to everything and even that was fun to eat. It's a bit messy on the mouth though. Mussels were impressively large and probably the largest I've seen so far. You can easily tell from the shells already and when you see the actual mussels, amazing! The sauce was just as tasty as the shrimps' but with a bit more spice. Service: Standard good service! Good luck eating the rice with your hands. I'd also love to hear everyone's thoughts! Did scooping a handful and pushing it up with your thumb still work with the gloves on.

It's a simple concept: pick out what you want & they'll cook it for you. The key is to get the freshest fish or other seafood. Spoiler Alert: The cooks do a really good job, because everything was so enjoyable. It's the Philippines so every now & then restaurants get large parties - - we had 9 - - with no issues. We had the following: Sweet & Sour Fish: the fish was fried perfectly & had a good taste. Vegetable Pancit Bihon: very nice. Vegetable Chop Suey: nice amount of gravy & the veggies were good. Chop Suey was always a favorite of my Dad when he was alive & he would have like this one. Fried Calamari: nicely done. Not overly heavy battered which was good. Tasty dish. Baked Scallops: baked with cheese. Enjoyable. All the food came out in a timely manner. Everything was cooked well & tasted great. BTW: they also have "land lover" food - - ribs, chicken, & pork. If you don't want protein (meat or seafood), you can still get a good meal - - we had veggie pancit & veggie chop suey. Enjoy.

You can eat it with your hands (w/ plastic gloves) or utensils. We ordered extra clam soup and baked oysters wgich were all delectable. Would highly recommend to try it especially if you have balikbayan guests.

It's not an everyday place you can dine at when you're a student on a budget but the meals here are still and always have been student friendly... like my go to veggie bopis or veggie burger. Likha Diwa sa Gulod in Krus na Ligas, a few minutes away from the main campus complex of UP Diliman, is a special retreat for those who want to break away from fast food and commercialized food establishments. The surroundings remind one of a secret garden, and the vibe of the place puts one at ease immediately. It is inviting, relaxing and very friendly to the soul. Likha Diwa is a vegetarian and seafood restaurant first and foremost, but it is also a community center for freethinkers and artistic individuals. The premises double as an art gallery where thought-provoking installations and exhibits are mounted on a regular basis. Guests can choose to sit on the low tables, or sit on soft throw pillows on the floor. The menu is extensive, with offerings ranging from Filipino favorites to Western dishes with a healthy and vegetarian twists. I particularly love the kare kare, which is a generous plate of tender vegetables, soft tofu and veggie-tuna meat (a kind of texturized vegetable protein that is a good and healthy substitute for pork or beef). I would usually order it with a serving of mountain rice, which is known to be healthier than white, well-milled rice. I also love the vegetable curry, which has the right amount of pungent and strong Indian spices. Likha Diwa has a very affordable buffet spread every Saturday. For P200, customers can eat as much healthy vegetarian food as they want. The themes are rotated every now so often, with Italian, Greek and Indian spreads repeating after several weekends. The place also sells good local coffee from Kalinga and Benguet .If you want to start eating healthy, try easing into Likha Diwa's menu which offers mostly delicious and heartwarming favorites. The dishes are packed with flavor and vitamis and so rich in character, you will forget that you are eating healthy. Furthermore, Likha Diwa also has a small eco store and gift shop where you can by organic cleaning agents and toiletries, and local handicrafts such as weavings, fabrics and decor.

We were seated at a wooden table which fit the nautical theme of the restaurant, and given rocks and round wooden boards where we could smash our crabs. This was my first time eating mud crabs. They are very similar to blue crabs anatomically, but they have much larger claws. They also taste pretty similar. I was concerned that the crabs would not be fresh, but the first few batches were fine and delicious. I was thoroughly enjoying my crab feast until the 3rd batch, where I was hit with an ammonia smell. I quickly lost my appetite and stopped eating. The girlfriend had been craving for crab recently and I did some research and came along this place. I mean, P700 for all you can eat crab? Good deal, right? What do we have to lose? Coming here right after a workout, we were both very hungry and ordered 2 all you can eat crab, a bowl of clam chowder, and a 500g bag of shrimp. The crab is not good. It's dry, flavorless, and really dirty. I think they serve a "mud crab" variety but they seem really low quality. Also, I think these crabs are cooked in advance. Like, WAY in advance because they arrived on our table stone cold. Clam chowder was worse. It was like eating a bowl of hot milk, cream and nothing else. The shrimps were okay but the sauce, "butter garlic", in the words of my girlfriend: "tasted like Mang Tomas". Honestly, none of the sauces they served tasted good. Sadly, we arrived here hungry and left starving. Pros -For P700, you can consume ALL the crab, rice, and iced tea your stomach desires. -Service was pleasant and the staff are very attentive. Cons -Crab isn't good. Very little meat and really dirty. -Seafood doesn't look fresh. -Sauces are yucky. -They are strictly cash only. So make sure to bring some or get ready to wash some dishes.

Admittedly, I don't really order their other dishes except for their most popular item, so I can't say much about their other dishes.
