0/10 worst acrylic nail fill and worst nail salon experience I've ever had. Got cut twice and was bleeding on my toe. I asked for a design ahead of time that they should have been transparent about if they couldn't do it, but they did it anyway, and tried to fix it. Three hours go by, I'm late for my plans, and they look embarrassing. I had two people attempting my nails, there is 0 artistry here. On top of that, it was dirty. My hands were placed on a mat that had previous nail bits, that gave me a full body cringe to have to sit with for those three hours. Paint was left all over my fingers, with a gritty feeling from such a sloppy job. It took him one hour to do two nails...Not sure why there were such high reviews. I've gotten my nails done all throughout San Diego for years this is by far the worst place I've ever been to. Also, unless a male nail tech has had experience doing design, why is he being given to customers asking for intricate design?
I'm only writing this to talk about the manicurist named Hanna. I had my appointment scheduled for 9:00 a.m., but she didn't show up until 9:20. On top of that, she was chatting with other people, and I had to remind the staff that my appointment was for nine o'clock -- otherwise, she probably wouldn't have even started with me until 9:30. She finally began at 9:30, and honestly, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. To make things worse, the work she did was terrible. I really don't like speaking badly about anyone, but this was my first time at this salon, and I left feeling very frustrated and upset. The service wasn't cheap -- I paid $60 -- and it was honestly awful. I pointed out several times that one nail was way shorter than the others and needed to be fixed, but she just ignored me. At the end of the appointment, Hanna tried to start a friendly conversation with me, probably hoping for a tip, but I just wanted to get out of there. I didn't tip her at all, which I've never done before, but I made a point of it this time -- she didn't respect my appointment time, and her service was terrible. I'm definitely not going back to that salon, all because of her. Honestly, I have no idea how someone like that even works with the public -- and I truly don't understand how she's a manicurist in the first place.
Bryan the owner was kind enough to reach out to me to redo my nails. The staff were so helpful and kind. I'm really glad the owner took the initiative to make things right from my first visit of my nails chipping. It goes to show he really cares about his customers and their happiness. The color came out beautiful and the staff took extra care to make sure my nails were dry enough before I left. Overall I'm really satisfied and I will be returning.

Amazing service. The staff is soooo friendly! Elaine who works up front is so sweet and is very welcoming with my first time being here. Brian was also great and a character. I believe he's the owner. I had Isabella who did my pedicure and it was her first day at this location and was friendly. Will did an amazing job on my manicure. He delivered! It's a cute area. There's street parking, which I was lucky enough to find fairly quickly. Overall will be coming back. They also are opening a new location in North Park, and I know it'll be great service there too!
I moved into the neighborhood last year and needed to get my nails done for an event. The owner, Brian, was inviting and he was the tech that did my nails. His level of customer service is BEYOND amazing and he will do whatever it takes to make sure you leave his nail salon satisfied. He and his team made time for me whenever I needed a fill. They are all so easy to talk to, and they all do well with what they do. If you're looking for a nail salon that really cares about your nails looking amazing then this is the spot for you.
Good service, same day-booking, clean, professional, and friendly. Great taste in music as well. I see that the management tries to go above and beyond here. I've come in a few times for their dip powder manicure. Their pedicures are a real treat. If you can, try to pay/tip in cash. Easy parking on adams ave.
What I love about twinkle Nails is the hospitality! Everybody here at twinkle Nails is so kind and responsive. And, they have margaritas! The owner Bryan, is so amazing and makes you feel like home. I love getting my nails done here because they always look so good. I highly recommend twinkle Nails in spa!

This review is long overdue! I've been going to Twinkle Nails for over a year now, and I honestly can't imagine going anywhere else. I always book with Thi, and she is absolutely fantastic. No matter what design, color combination, or random inspiration photo I bring her, she executes it flawlessly every single time. I've attached a few photos of some of the sets she's done for me over the past year because her work really speaks for itself. One thing that always impresses me is how healthy my natural nails have stayed. These are my real nails, and I only get gel manicures, so I can't personally speak to acrylics or some of the other nail services they offer. What I can say is that my nails consistently look amazing, last well, and receive compliments all the time. I've also had pedicures here and they've always done a great job. I don't have one specific technician I regularly see for those, but I've never had a bad experience read more

I've been to Twinkle Nails twice now and have had a pretty decent experience. I enjoy the ease of booking online which a lot of nail salons don't have. The staff is pretty friendly and they work quickly. My first time, the nail artist didn't ask what shape/length I wanted, she just cut them short and square. I kept this in mind for next time and made sure to state what I wanted up front. They do a good job here and I would recommend! read more

The man working on my nails had bad breath and didn't wear a mask also he didn't communicate that he wasn't confident he would do a good job on my nail design. I wish he had been honest and the other workers would stop by our table many times and didn't give him any advice that could've fixed his mistakes. 10/10 overall this nail salon really dose it all. The wait time wasn't that long and you may either do a walk in and or a booking. Prices are very reasonable and their nail salon is nice and clean the vibe there is very chill and there is a little dogs that walks around super cute. Just moved to Normal Heights area and found my new nail salon. Brian and his staff are super friendly and the nail salon is so cute. I forget the woman's name that did my pedicure but she did such a good job making sure my toes are cute for summer. I love my nail set and the service provided. The only thing is I made an appointment at 12:15 and didn't leave until 3:55pm so it was a long time being at the salon. They were short staffed but make sure you have time available as it may take longer, especially if you want cute designs. Will definitely be a returning customer. read more

Amazing job!! I was in the neighborhood and found this place as the nearest nail salon. I came as a walk in and they were luckily able to take me. I had a full acrylic set done by Brian. He was sooo nice and made me feel taken care of. He was very detailed and did an amazing job he also had me wear gloves before I put my hands in the uv which was a first for me! Bryan did me RIGHT! I had a previous gel French tip pedicure that was AWFUL and lacked finesse and had a wedding to be in three days! I found Twinkle Nails and am so glad I trusted them.
