Propane was only needed for the stove/oven, and I didn't use it very much over the years so the 100lb. tank was almost always full. However, when they did top it with actual gas the bill was always paid in full. I have to admit, I eat out a lot and during the nice weather, I usually grill, so my tank had remained full for quite a while and didn't need to be topped off, but they still charged me 12.00 dollars for a service charge each visit just to tell me my tank was full. I tried to work out an arrangement to let them know that I would call them when I felt I needed a top off or to fill the tank and the woman's response was "Oh, would you like us to come and remove the tank because you don't use it much". Puzzled, I simply told her that was not necessary and to just let me call for a service fill instead of charging me for a visit I didn't need. Well, they kept coming and leaving me a "no fill" service charge which I refused to pay, and when I came home one day from work, without notice or warning they came and removed the FULL tank which had the propane that I actually paid for many months prior. Not only did they STEAL my gas(yes it was their tank, but my gas), but they cut the gas line(which was mine) preventing me from hooking up my own tank! It was a filthy and dirty thing to do, but just recently my kerosene furnace needed to be replaced and I switched over to NJNG, which runs both the furnace and the oven. I don't care if PJ. propane is the only source available if I moved and had no one else to choose from. I would purchase my own equipment and drive for miles to a refilling or swap out station before using these freaks ever again. Dirty filthy company who also happen to be thieves!
