I was really impressed with her…read morecommunication and the work she produced that I decided to hire her to build my salon suites at Good Hair Day MKE. I started working with her back in mid December 2014-March 2015. It was a MAJOR renovation job, 2000 sq ft, 9 suites, manicure/pedicure area, bathroom, and waiting area, all built from scratch. Custom build cabinetry/countertop with shampoo bowls installed in each suite, new flooring, electrical, plumbing, HVAC system, fire sprinklers, painting, putting together equipments, etc.  It was the most stressful time I went through from purchasing my salon to completing construction in 2.5 months in order to open on time. There were a fair share of unforseen stuff that occured which was out of our control. But Maretes was always quick to work around the unforseen stuff, made my life so much easier because she was on top of every aspect, regularly stopped by to make sure everything was running smoothly and made sure everything was up to code for inspection to pass. She also communicated with me on a daily basis, calmed down my nerves and went above and beyond. She even went as far as making sure the inspector would show up to the salon as scheduled and when that fell apart on the day of (the scheduled inspector called in sick at last minute), she kept calling the supervisor and demanded that they send another inspector which he finally gave in and showed up himself. If she did not go above and beyond to make this work, I would not have been able to open my salon as scheduled! And the best part was I had no idea of the hot mess that transpired that morning until after giving me the good news that I could officially open my salon. That alone shows us what a great, hardworking person she is, that she will take on any issues that arise just to alleviate your stress! I honestly do not know what I would do without her and her team. Another part that stood out about her is the fact that she throughly listened to all of my visions and was not quick to shut down any ideas I had.  If there were any part I was unsure about or changed my mind, she was quick to work around that. I hired her again around end of April 2020 while my salon was shutdown due to Covid. I had to install new floorings due to water damage coming in from outside building (which the condo association is working on). Maretes, her project manager, and her team was able to complete the flooring and repaint within two weeks and right in time to reopen. It was a wonderful experience working with her and her team again. And BONUS, they have a really cool set up where you can check through an app daily and see the progress they made, posted daily updates, information and pictures. I communicated with her project manager daily which was still great and very effective.  I will always stick with Maretes and her team for anything I need, especially future projects. I am hoping to expand and she will always be the person to go to!  She works really hard to be one of the best company, to go above and beyond, have excellent communication skills, makes sure she hires top notch reputable contractors, have trustworthy team staff, and will work with ANY issues you may have. She will always make sure you are left completely happy with the results!!

Our prior experience had left us with an unfinished job that didn't meet our expectations. We did not know if our expectations had been unrealistic. Guess what, they weren't!!! Extreme Exteriors came in and completely redid our 1550 sq ft patio for a very fair price, built us a deck and regraded our lawn and seeded. When we originally hired them it was to redo the patio which they discovered had an insufficient base by the other contractor. They quickly came in, pulled up the pavers and the base, redid the base, relaid the pavers in a beautiful pattern and then finished it. It's beautiful!!!! And they were done in two weeks with a deck added!! Because of how nice it looked, the speed of delivery and the professionalism of the owner and his team, we then asked that they quote redoing our lawn, doing a concrete pad for a swim spa and some additional finishing items. 4 weeks and our entire lawn and patio is complete and usable. We are just waiting for the grass to grow. We are now asking them for help with selecting plants and trees. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend them. They are trustworthy, hardworking and knowledgeable. I would joke to my husband about there being 5 guys here and each time I looked out the window they were each actively working!!! We purchased an existing home, but we never got over the desire to build. After visiting an Aspen model and meeting Melissa, building a home once again seemed like a real possibility. Melissa answered every question and worked diligently to dissuade our nervousness about building. We met with Shelly, the owner, who is just as nice and down to earth as Melissa. Shelly created a house plan and then tweaked it as we sat at the table talking about our hopes for the home. We then met Andy at our potential lot to identify the possibilites and challenges of the land. Between the three of them, we felt confident moving forward with the build. Once the building process began, we expected Melissa to fade into the background, but she continued to check in regularly. She even delivered care packages as we encountered some unexpected personal challenges. Even after closing on our home, she has continued to check in and deliver little surprises. Aspen builds extremely solid, beautiful homes. It is a small company, so you will consistently get personalized attention from each member of the team as you move through the process. The majority of the selections can be done in-house, so there is no need to run around to various vendors. Aspen's process is truly as seamless as can be, and their online system keeps all of the details organized and in one place. Lastly, we were given a complete price at the beginning of the process, and there were no surprises or hidden costs at any point. We highly, highly recommend Aspen Homes. Every individual within the company was friendly, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. We could not be happier with our new, beautiful home. Building a home is a complex endeavor, but Aspen's staff and systematic approach make it about as easy as it can be.
