We couldn't be more impressed with the restoration work completed by Marcus and his team. From the…read morevery first conversation, he demonstrated professionalism, deep expertise, and a genuine commitment to bringing our space back to life. Every step of the process was handled with care. He provided clear communication, thoughtful recommendations, and a level of craftsmanship that's increasingly rare. He didn't just "fix" things; he restored them with precision and pride, making the final result even better than the original. The team was punctual, respectful of our home, and incredibly organized. They kept the project on schedule, maintained a clean work environment, and made sure we understood what was happening at each stage. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to anyone looking for top‑tier restoration work. If you want quality, integrity, and beautiful results, this is the contractor you want.

The top part of the deck, made from teak, is still fine, but all the rails (aside from the main supports) and bottom of the stairs were pine, so many of those parts needed replacement due to wood rot. Additionally, the slats that framed around the porch weren't attached properly, so Marcus took them all off and reattached them correctly and securely. He also removed an electrical outlet that wasn't working and capped off the wiring. The baseboards were also replaced with PVC. It was a full-day project, and these guys worked hard. I can't say enough for their professionalism--from the quality work they did (plus explaining everything to me), and beginning and ending the day with cordial words. Such politeness is not a give in these days. The day began with a friendly greeting and ended in the evening with, "Have a nice night," not to mention polite interactions throughout the day. They also cleaned up perfectly, removing all the old wood. Even though they went beyond what we discussed, and Marcus did the extra work (wooden slats that weren't attached properly and a piece of wood behind the stairs that was replaced with PVC which we hadn't talked about initially) Marcus stuck to his original estimate. ***I would recommend these guys without reservation.*** I will also add that their pricing was very fair with an estimate given ahead of time. It was an stress-free day. Thanks Marcus and Devon.

Highly, highly recommend. Some background, we had aging steps that desperately needed to be replaced. We decided that we wanted to change it up and expand our back patio space by building a larger deck and a pergola over it, as well as an over an area that used to be bushes. That space we made the decision to use stamped concrete and Brew City Builders had a trusted vendor (J J Enterprises) that would work together and put forward one complete quote for all of it. The team quickly came to our property for measurements, quoted out our project and got us on their schedule quick. Their team was exceptionally skilled, kept the work site clean and were very friendly. Even when we put in a last minute request for a privacy wall they were willing to add to the plan without causing disruption to the schedule. We have absolutely no complaints and are very happy with our deck and patio space. As well, we receive compliments on the project from our friends and neighbors all the time. Brew City Builders is THE team you want for your deck and porch project.

They were very attentive to our design ideas and communicated with us throughout the project. We had 2 porches/decks as well as a custom fabricated fence installed by Dan and his crew. We are very pleased with the results. We would highly recommend Brew City and plan to reach out to them again for another upcoming project.

October 27 2025 crew arrived to begin project. Discussed leaking issue and crew advised materials would not stop leaking. Moved ahead with gazebo project. October 31st had rain. Had 2 6 gallon buckets of water that I picked up in my home. On november 1st did discuss leaking with crew. Asked about adhesive or caulk around newly installed treated wood. Was advised work order did not include installation of either adhesive or caulk. Until november 22 2025 every time it rained i had to collect water that made it into home. On the 22nd a crew member installed caulk both interior and exterior of gazebo. Project manager came to site and advised I should give remainder of caulk should small areas leak. After the snowstorm with the mild temperature melting smow made it into the gazebo. It was like a swimming pool. In order to prevent this liquid from entering my home is b removed water with a 10 wet dry vac I removed 40 gallons of water not including the 12 gallons from inside my home. Am wondering if 40+ ga)lons is considered minimal by protect manager. Still waiting for gutters to be installed. As a result of this experience do not have confidence in the company and would not consider them for future projects

Move forward to August 2025 , my husband noticed standing water on one corner for the pergola when we tried to add lighting. At that time we put our project on hold and I contacted Outdoor living to advise of the standing water on August 4, 2025 at 8:37am , I was put into their Amins voicmail and then I followed up with an email the same day. As of August 5th ther was no reponse to even say, "I received your vm and email", until I reached out to our sales person and he stated he would let Stephanie know. At 2:30 she sent an email stating the production manager would be in contact with us. On August 6th the production manager called me and followed up with an email to me and Stephanie informing her what needed to be done and it was a simple fix. As of August 12th, there still was not call to schedule an appointment to fix the standing water so I reach out with an email to the production manager and he stated he would be in the office later that mornging and would speak to Stephanie and later that day she stated she was "continuing to monitor the weather and would get back to us when it could be scheduled"? As I write this, today is the 15th and there has been no response or even a call to GET us on the schedule. Wouldn't it make sense to schedule the appointment and if it rained, reschedule? The customer service after the fact has been less then stellar, but one they had my $48k for the job, then I guess we are 2nd on the list and really are not in any hurry to fix our issue. We were going to have more things done as we add a hot tub and pool, however after this, not sure I would use them again.
