Pretty solid starter course to take your kids. Small slice of green space and surprisingly long holes for course.

It's a goat Ranch but we knew that going in. Been there before. But come on - allowing people to play in groups of 6. And the guy just shrugs when I mentioned it. As I'm leaving, people are Playing in tank tops. Come on folks - you could make this into a really nice 9 holer but this place Is only getting worse. read more

I love this course. Jennifer and the other ladies in the pro shop are always friendly and welcoming. Its a PGA 9-hole course. Tee times are needed as the course has become deservedly popular, but they minimize waiting. The course in in good shape for this time of the year (hot July), with the greens beautifully maintained. There are a couple of very friendly leagues (men's and ladies'). The course is challenging with a pond, several dog-legs and sand-traps to navigate. Great value, friendly and welcoming, and maintained by the same family for over 60 years! read more

This golf course is good for the price and kept up pretty well. Some of the workers could be nicer except for the young lady, she's nice.

A very nice 9 hole course on a converted farm. The greens are good and fast, the fairways are well taken care of and there are a few good hazards to throw in some danger. For $25, my partner and I got 9 holes and a cart. There are 2 nice old (OLD) ladies that run the show and although they ARE nice old ladies, they kinda got on my nerves with their questions. I was LITERALLY asked 4 times how many holes I was playing, my name and was I just starting by BOTH of them. They acted as if people often take advantage of them. The staff here was really very friendly and easy going. They really made you feel at home and comfortable. The price couldn't be more reasonable, we played on a Sunday with a cart for 27$. Course was well maintained especially on the greens, which were really fast the day we played. Couple of rough patches on the fairways but in all, well groomed. Easy but challenging enough to keep things interesting. Lots of dog leg holes. Some holes are pretty close together so if you tend to slice you most likely will end up on another fairway. I cannot stop loving this place. It's a really beautiful, immensely walkable 9 hole layout. The course provides a variety of shots with doglegs and straightaways. The 3rd hole is as challenging a par 4 as there is in the area....the par 3 5th always feels like home. Somehow, a tree bowl green next to a Modest Home is a Gorgeous Site There's not much true danger here---a couple chances near the woods, and one water carry. The Bunkers are not much in play. The condition of the Fairwars and Greens is always astonishing...this is a $20 nine hole walk, and it is Extremely Pleasant! 6100 or so yards----a very nice walk! read more

My friends spoke very highly of this place and when I went it was not friendly at all. We had a first time golfer and we were told to pick up the pace when we were on pace of play. When I told the Marshall that we had a first time golfer she said "I don't care that's not an excuse." I felt very harassed by this lady she followed us around on multiple holes. She also told us to change our format to best ball, we are paying customers and we harassed and told that we need to change how we were playing. The course is not in good shape do not recommend coming here and I will never be coming here again. We be telling every golfer I know to never come here. read more

Nice little 9 hole course. Guy who works in the Pro Shop couldn't possibly be any nicer . He really seems to care that you are happy and have a good experience. $15 to walk and play unlimited golf on a Friday afternoon cant be beat! Don't try to stick the greens on your approach...they are small and more than a few times I've hit them only to see my ball bounce 5 feet in the air and roll off. The woman who owns it is older (80s) and can be a bit rough around the edges. Last time I was there I paid her and walked right out to the first tee. 5 minutes later she comes out...looks at me and says "You didn't pay!". I try to reassure that I did pay however she demanded to see my receipt. Of course I couldn't find it so I showed her my ATM receipt from their on site ATM that I had just used 5 minutes before. I said "Look I withdrew $40 5 minutes ago and have $25 left in my pocket...I paid you $15 to walk". Her reply "That tells me nothing wheres your receipt?. "....ok...I finally dug it out and all was well. I was a bit peeved but after some thought I assume that some people probably take advantage of them...which is sad Plus if I make it to my 80s Ill probably be grumpy too. read more

What do you expect for $15??? I played here with my 9 & 4 year old. It was perfect for them, and to be honest, better than going to a driving range. We all had a blast, and NO ONE looked at me like I was crazy for having my kids out there!!! The fact that we let everyone play through I am sure helped. Played at 6:00 on a Wednesday, but I was surprised at the amount of play. I will certainly go back again with my kids....better than beating balls at a range. Not much of a course, but in good shape, and perfect for kids starting to learn the game!!! read more

Great beginner/youth/tune-up/practice course. The folks who run the place are always friendly and nice. Course is usually in good / decent shape. Don't expect country club fairways & greens but you will get nice lies in the fairways, and while not real tricky the greens run pretty true. The price is always right ($15 to walk)! A large bucket of balls at most driving ranges is about $10 and while the range is an important part of the game, at some point you need to move from practice to reality. Big hitters should leave their woods in the car, anything more than a 215-225 tee ball might get a little tricky to fit into the fairways on most holes. This is a great place to sharpen your iron / wedge game. I picked up a new 3h & gap wedge this season and played here a few times to help see how they worked in my game. I used the 3h off the tee and was also able to play for shots in the GW range on most of the par 4s. Have never seen them super busy so I have even played two balls on a few holes (shhhh don't tell anyone ) and still maintained a decent pace of play. Also really great if you are playing with youth golfers. I have two boys who are playing and a 3some can add up ($$$) really quick at other courses. $10-12 on range balls or for the same money you can play some holes.... You decide! A real hidden gem in the area. Take it for what it is and give it a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

The golf course is well kept and of moderate difficulty. The employees and manager are very nice and helpful. Everything was going great until the owner came out. She was rude and her attitude towards her PAYING customers is inexcusable. I had brought a cooler because it was in the 90's and wanted a drink partway through the course and she called it my "lunch box" and made us walked us to the list of rules and made us read them because 2 of us couldn't afford clubs and apparently that is breaking a rule. She holds prejudice against kids. Me and my friends wanted to try golfing out and her awful attitude almost turned us away if it weren't for the kind and considerate staff. If you consider going here stay away from the owner at all costs. She was awful to her customers and her own employees because a couple of teenagers wanted to try out golfing. Absolute disgrace I fell bad for every single person that works there. read more

I haven't been to twin woods in quite a while and wow has it improved. I was very impressed at how well kept the greens were. A great place to play 9 and I will definitely be returning. read more

Great course for a beginner. Well maintained. I would recommend this course to anyone just starting out.

First time i came, I had a blast. Second time i came, it was even better... until the old lady came out and was extremely rude to me and my family. I am disgusted by her attitude and childish behavior. She had the audacity to call young people stupid just because we were walking back to the cars from playing after it got dark... keep in mind we did not finish due to the lack of daylight. I will not be returning to this golf course because of her. She sucks. She completely ruined my golfing experience and If she is reading this, I hope you know exactly who we are, you should be ashamed of yourself. Stop being grumpy and miserable and be happy people actually come and give you money to play golf. read more

This is a great 9 hole course for anyone.. even small children if they are starting to play golf! The greens are good and the course is maintained beautifully and you can't beat the price! The staff here is very friendly and easy going... especially Betty, the owner of this golf course! I was there just recently on a very hot day... Betty drives around on her golf cart checking on all the golfers.. and I was walking and very red faced due to the heat, she told me to come and sit after 9 holes and have a cold drink... which truly helped! My group had an afternoon tee time on a Friday, The gentlemen at the front desk was very friendly. We tee-ed off on time but when we got to the third tee we had to wait until the grounds keeper finished mowing the tee box (about 3-4 min). when we got to the 9 hole we had to wait twice for them to finish mowing the fairway. They do not stop and let you play through nor do they shut off the equipment when you are in the area. When we were approaching the putting green on the 9th hole the manager came out in a golf cart and told us very sternly that we were playing to slow and not to be giving instructions on the course.
