I usually visit to get a quick massage with no appointments. Usually they're not that busy so…read morethey're able to accommodate short notice. In the past I've had women massage therapists and I could say that though they "beat me up" I left feeling great. The place isn't anything beautiful or like a fancy spa, but if you've got some knots in your back, come here for relief as in past experiences this is the real deal. I first tried a 15 minute massage to see what this place is like. Then I went for an hour. Today I visited and had a male therapist. I felt the experience was really negative because it seemed he was doing more "pushing" in the same areas versus any sort of deep tissue. I also felt he wasn't overly concerned about draping me which I felt was the experience with the woman I had before as well, but is less comfortable with a male and there should be conscientious given here. Another part that really irked me is that both doors to the room were cracked open and felt like there was some lack of privacy. The part that really bothered me is the person massaging me took a phone call in the middle of my massage. I felt that was very unprofessional and when I said something he said...I didn't want to lose a customer, to which I replied, you might lose the one you have right here. At the end the advertised $60 for 60 minute massage came to $63.60. I asked about it and he said it was tax. Ok whatever...I've never heard of a tax on a service or this kind of pricing where it wasn't just included. I felt that the experience was uncomfortable and didn't warrant a tip. He had the audacity to ask for one. That was probably the final straw...tips are not asked for or demanded. I don't think I'd come back here ever again seeing how everything is about nickel/dime and not much consideration for client experience. I understand this is a more "basic" spot without the visual frills, but I expect basic courtesy and unfortunately my experience today did not meet the mark.

This is as sleezy as it gets.
