The Hazelnut coffee boba was really tasty. I was hesitant that they did not have just coffee boba, as hazelnut can be overpowering or leave an aftertaste. However this was not the case. The tea egg was cooked perfectly and I believe it was bamboo shoots that were also tasty. The pork belly was tender, but I did feel that it was lacking flavor. I asked for the mango sauce on the side for her because I didn't know if she would like it. Honestly, I didn't know if she would like any of it except for the avocados. Turns out she ate the whole thing! Even the raw salmon which obviously surprised me since she has never eaten raw fish. She loved it all. I also loved my ramen but I felt something was missing from the pork. I don't know enough from Japanese food to know if it's supposed to be like this. I thoroughly enjoyed it though! Both the pork and egg were well coooked, as were the noodles. Broth was good, not necessarily the best, but good enough to easily be the best ramen in the vicinity. I've gone here a couple times now. Is it the best ramen I've ever had in my life? No. But Taichi is awesome for other reasons like having a full bubble tea bar -- which IS awesome. They also have some other not so soupy staples like Karaage style fried chicken-- which is very good. There's a reason why this place is a popular spot with locals. Plus the decor is very cool looking and eye catching. The only gripes I have are that sometimes the waits are very long which can be a little frustrating, and I find it a bit overpriced for what you get compared to some other noodle houses in the area. read more

You just grab a card to the right when you walk in, select what you want and hand in at register.
