Just found out about this place while looking up directions to a different nearby poke place and had to give it a shot !! I had a custom poke bowl and a rose milk tea, both were incredibly delicious and a very nice size considering the price. It's rare to even find a place that does rose milk tea at all, it's my favorite so that's a major plus for me. My boyfriend got the spicy ramen and a banana milk smoothie, which were also fantastic and reasonably priced!!! All in all it was a lovely experience, good atmosphere, friendly staff, quick wait times, and clean comfortable bathrooms. Definitely going to become a regular visit for us. read more

I've passed by Taichi Bubble Tea a handful of times and never thought to pop in and see what they have to offer. However, I'm glad I finally thought to do so. And you also can't miss their big boba tea sitting out front of their store. I can't resist an opportunity to try a new matcha so I thought Taichi would be a good choice. I glanced over their menu and they have a lot to offer. From bubble tea, matchas, dumplings, and ramen. I settled on the Thai Tea Matcha and placed my order with the young lady at the counter who was very pleasant. As I waited for my drink I could see all the toppings they have to choose from when placing an order for their create your own ramen. Which was a nice selection. I enjoyed the matcha with the Thai tea adding a different flavor and a dose of sweetness to the drink. Taichi Bubble Tea had a few different drink selections I'd like to go back and try and their ramen looks quite delicious. I'll definitely be making another stop at Taichi to try some of their other menu items. read more

This is a nice addition to the few Asian restaurants in Bel Air. It's located in the busy Festival plaza. There's ample free parking. The interior is very well designed. I love the panda decorations and the warm color scheme. We only had the bubble tea so I can't comment on the food but it was good. They were able to help us adjust the degree of sweetness. The employees were friendly. There's a lifesize cute bubble tea figure outside the restaurant that could be fun to take pics with. The only drawback was that the bubble tea wasn't cheap at all but it's probably on par with market prices. Looking forward to returning and trying the food. read more

I was in the Bel Air, MD area with my girlfriend, and we were craving bubble tea and poke. We came across Taichi Bubble Tea. When we first walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by the employees and an abundance of panda bears. The restaurant had a calm vibe, making it a great place to sit down, relax, and enjoy some boba drinks. They offer build-your-own poke bowls and also have vegetarian options. The food was good, but the boba tea was my favorite. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend checking this place out. read more

Went here with Aria M and Jeremy G (friend them, they're awesome!). I'm not as big of a fan of this place as Aria. It'll do, and I did enjoy my beverage and half of my burrito, but I don't see any reason to ever go back. Here's the thing about me: I shake A LOT. The more I try to steady my hand and arm, the more I shake. Needless to say, soup and I do not get along. I love soup, but I'll only eat it at home because I tend to end up wearing a lot of the broth. And, because the arthritis destroyed EVERY single one of my joints, including my jaw, I have a difficult time using big spoons. So I opted to get one of their sushi burritos ( Crazy Bumble Bee: Shrimp tempura, Crab Stick, Mango, Avocado, Cucumber, with Spicy Mayo, Yum Yum & Eel Sauce), which are like huge, uncut sushi rolls. There's a lot of rice, which is tasteless. Truthfully, I didn't want to order this, but I didn't see anything else on the menu that seemed good and I was starving. Don't get me wrong, I like sushi, but I rarely can get through one normal-sized sushi roll and this burrito is like three rolls worth of food. It was better once I procured some wasabi dressing from the cashier. The avocado is delicious and creamy, and the other fillings were yummy. But all that rice. Jeez. I ended up eating almost half and bringing the rest back home, but like most sushi it didn't hold up the next day. My cats were stoked to help me finish it. I also had a thai milk tea with tapioca pearls, which was marvelous. Jeremy had the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen (Original creamy pork bone broth. It is simmered for many hours with pork bones & vegetables to bring out the perfect flavor. Topped with bamboo shoots, fish cakes, black garlic oil, soft soy egg & scallion. Curly noodles and spicy broth) minus he bamboo shoots and fish cakes, plus added pork. He really enjoyed it. It smelled amazing. Sometimes I wish I could go to a place like this and just get some of their soft boiled eggs on some nicely flavored rice. Soft boiled eggs are one of life's pleasures, but you can't find them everywhere. He also had an infruit tea. I can't remember if it was mango or passion fruit, but it was gorgeous and delicious. For reasons, there aren't many other ramen places in/near Belair. And they DO make fantastic ramen, but personally I would rather not go back if the menu is going to be so limited. read more

Needed to kill time while my daughter was shopping so I decided to give this place a try. I got a brown sugar milk tea with no boba, and substituted oat milk. The drink was so good and not overly sweet. Prices are as expected for the area. The inside is super cute and clean looking. As soon as I walked in I could smell the food and I wished I was hungry, cause it smelled delightful. I'll definitely be back to try food next time. The service was quick and friendly. What's up foodie friends. I couldn't wait to give this new ramen/bubble tea eatery located in my backyard a try. I had the Spicy Tonkotsu with Char Siu Ramen. I love that it came out from the kitchen hot. The broth is so flavorful, sweet, and full of depth. The noodles were thick but tender. It came with 3 thick slices of char siu. The taro/coconut slush with bubbles was delicious. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of ramen here. read more

I've been here a few times since they've opened up in the Festival. It is affordable, convenient, tasty, and the service is phenomenal. The menu is quite large so there's ample reason to come back and try something else. Like your average cafe there is seating, and it is wheelchair accessible! The decoration is so cute, the panda bears are just adorable. I've tried their ramen and was blown away. Their soft boiled egg is just right; perfectly jammy. Their sushi rice bowls are also delicious. They have a paper you can fill out to create your own bowl which makes ordering very stress free and easy. As for their teas, they allow you to control the sweetness level, exchange the topping of your drink if you're like me and prefer popping bubbles as opposed to the tapioca. Came here friday night with my husband and inlaws. It was pretty busy with high schoolers meeting up. The restaurant is pretty casual where you order up front. I had the Hawaiian poke salad bowl and everyone else had the spicy tokatsu pork ramen. The poke was good and fast, and the ingredients were fresh. Everyone enjoyed the ramen. New place near the Huoguo hotpot spot in Bel Air. Goes to show ramen, poke, and bubble tea are now viable business in this area. The poke bowl was done well, and the amount of fish was generous for the $15.50 charged. The bubble tea was ok, not great but not terrible. Wish the tea had more tea flavor (that's the point of tea), but otherwise the bubble was good and chewy. Overall 5 stars for the food and 3 stars for the tea. Got the poke e bowl for lunch. The store is very clean with plenty of natural light. Very affordable for what you get. Price depends on how many proteins you want. I get the chicken since it is cooked over white ( or brown) rice. Price was just over $14. BUT, you can add as many ingredients as you want and sauces. Everything is fresh and crisp such as the cucumber, onions, corn. Avocado slices are fresh- no browning. You can also get fruit- pineapple, mango. AND they have ramen which I haven't tried yet. If you love fresh veggies and fresh fruit try them out. read more
