This was my first trip to Vail and first time dealing with Gore Creek. Late check-in (at 1am) was simple. The keys were left for me in a tiny afterhours pickup area about a mile from the vacation home. The house is beautiful on the inside and has a shockingly thorough stock of amenities. We cooked a full dinner two nights in a row (steak, veggies, potatoes, etc) and were only able to do it because the kitchen was SO WELL STOCKED. There were appliances for almost every need (coffee maker, toaster, blender, whatever) and cooking supplies everywhere including a diverse spice rack, oil, ample pots, pans, and dishes. Only more impressive was that everything was so well organized and labeled in the kitchen too. The flow of the house is great. The living room space nicely bends around beautiful vaulted windows to a huge sectional couch. The flatscreen TV w/cable, in-unit laundry, and *perfectly working * hot tub put it over the top. Extra points awarded as the hot tub appeared to be pre-heated by the Gore Creek staff before our arrival! The shuttle system to vail is efficient and painless. I was never waiting more than 10 minutes coming or going, and local pickup in the neighborhood was great. I chartered a Colorado Mountain Express (CME) shuttle one-way back to Denver airport and they picked me up at door with no problems. Again, perfect experience. I would recommend this property to anyone and also recommend the management company to anyone.

Specifically, we stayed in "Pitkin Creek #5R" We arrive around 4:00pm and our paperwork was located in the "Gore Creek Properties" office. The office wasn't opened but our package answered all the questions we had. The condo was on the other side of the parking lot facing the gorgeous mountains and a lovely waterfall. Our stay was very comfortable. The water pressure and temperature was great. The condo was a little warm upstairs (no A/C). However, we opened the window at night and turned on the fan which helped a lot! The internet was fast and there were a lot of movies and a DVD player. The condo looked and felt very clean. The kitchen was also stocked with everything we needed. There is also a little market/liquor store located right downstairs which was awesome! The second night we stayed there we were watching a movie and one of the neighbors asked us to turn it down. We had the volume at level 30 which we thought was reasonable; however, we did not want to disturb anyone so we turned it down to 20. We had to pause the movie each time we grabbed more popcorn as the rustling of the bag was louder than the TV! Just be cautious of sensitive neighbors. We were less than 15 minutes from the Town of Vail which was perfect! If you go to Vail on Sunday make sure to visit the Farmer's Market! Overall, our trip was lovely and we would definitely book with Gore Creek again!

Master bedroom is comfortable but has no chest of draws to put clothing. Second bedroom has bunks which are somewhat comfortable. Kitchen left a lot to be desired. All pots and pans need to be replaced. Can't understand the lack of items. Three coffee mugs.. and lack of glassware. The condo is not a budget prices and should be better appointed. Small fixes would do a long way. Skyrum just manages the property and we're responsive to any questions. All in all the place was just OK. Parking garage was great. A little TLC would go a long way to making this property a lot more appealing for the money.

Unit 416 is in severe disrepair: holes in the walls, paint sheared away from the wall in the bathrooms, holes in the carpet, boot dryer pieces were all broken, missing the front of a bathroom vanity, fireplace broken (apparently for years), bed frames broken, broken coffee pot glass was broken), one of the shower curtains was stained brown at the bottom, toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks, the grill was filthy and tools left outside filthy from previous guest. Trash from previous occupant left in bathrooms, food crumbs found on floor after we walked in for the first time. I have emailed their director of owner relations twice after she reached out to me once during our stay only to be ignored. GM will not return email or phone call. Just so everyone knows if you are going to do any activities don't stay at this place they'll have you pack out in the middle of the day telling you that you do not have a place to stay that night. They ended up getting us a place to stay but it was stressful and we missed out on other cool things that we had planned.

There aren't even enough seating at the dining table for 9 people. i was expecting a bit better kitchen...the "GE" appliances they were boasting on the website were very old, the dishwasher couldn't even completely clean the dishes on the upper rack. Not all the bldgs have the public hot tub. If you are on the west bldg, you have to walk to the east bldg to use the bldg amenities. the location was ok, but it's not really within walking distance to the slopes like our booking agent told us.. the garage was really weirdly designed. So each unit has an assigned garage spot. but since it's a condo building, i was expecting a common entrance to the garage area, instead of individually separated garage space. So it was really hard to find the actual garage assigned to our unit when we arrived in the evening.

We chose Vail Resort Rental, which is the same as Sun Vail, over any other rental provider…read morebelieving the service would come with minimum quality standards and good service, otherwise, why not just go with the Airbnb or VRBO? Wrong assumption we've learned the hard way. on Dec 30th, 2018. We paid a top price on a 2-bedroom apartment for 5 days, and we regretted the moment the elevator door opened at the apartment floor. Licking stains on the wall, asphyxiating smoking smell and an unhanded looking hallway. The apartment 211 is a complete disappointment and a very low-bar offer by the Vail Resort Rentals: old old old, smell like old, the fridge makes a noise because it's from the 80s, stove and exhaust fan are also from the 80s, the bathrooms faucet, and shower are from the early 80s). The carpet is disgusting and the towels (stiff, small, and thin), pillows, and sheets lowest quality than from any Holiday Inn. This property could not be rented by Vail Resort Rentals, a company which supposedly provides good properties to rent,; instead, this property could simply be on Airbnb or vrbo, platforms that don't pretend to provide anything else than a means between landlord and tenants. For health issues, the smell is unbearable, trigging my husband's and my allergy. The smell is the non-negotiable item. Do yourself a favor, don't pay $999 per night here, don't trust the name this company used to inspire the customers, don't deal with "There's nothing we can do", "My manager has the day off today and tomorrow", "We've never had problems before", "I'll have the housekeeping take a look" (the housekeeping crew has a limit to what they are able to do in a 30+ year apartment). Instead, invest the exact same amount staying at The Marriot Vail Mountain Resort, a 5-star hotel for the same price. You will get what you want and the value your money worth. Most importantly, you will then enjoy your stay, be in a clean and healthy space, and be comfortable.

Reached out with email and 24 hrs before the end of the sale I book lodging on my own. He reached back out like why didn't we call him... we should not have to chase our travel agent. I said my apologies I understand it may not be worth your time to help us anymore. He said sure I can get lifts and gear etc. I said wonderful. After a week of back and forth we agreed on a schedule. I later asked maybe see if we can get car included. Told him we may or may not get it we just want to see pricing. he quoted for that. Later we found out that we could get free car with point so wanted to proceed. He literally calls use after he had already taken our cc number "before we asked about car" and told us we should figure out ourselves. This is 2 days before Sept 2 when Florida is about to get hit with a major hurricane. I could have made arrangements elsewhere in advance and taken my time. Now i have to figure out how to do all on my own while putting hurricane shutters very inconsiderate. I was excited to find a vacation planner that could do it all even if for the years to come. But I will never use this company again. Instead of being upfront he wasted my time and too my credit card information. Very unprofessional and sketchy. Very disappointing .

When I called to book a room, the person who answered the phone sounded like I was bothering him -…read morelike it was an imposition for me to be calling to book a room! I know the men who run this hotel are from back east & true - east coasters can be "abrupt." I'm from New York & can call this as it was which just bordered on rude. I made a point to check out late with the front desk & told them I had food in the fridge we were taking home. I'd bought really nice cheese, pate & wine for a friend's birthday, along with leftovers from a very nice, expensive meal the night before. We walked around town that morning & came back to the hotel to grab the food & check out. The room was uncleaned & looked untouched when we walked back in but the refrigerator had been completely emptied! I checked with the front desk on what happened & was eventually told everything had been thrown out. What was the point of me telling them exactly what I was doing?! What a waste of money with everything that was thrown out & no attempt was made at making this good for me. I was very disappointed with the service. It was an inexpensive room (in the off season) & the view was nice though the room was dated & the elevator smelled.

Man, I struggled with the stars on this review like no other. The only way I can think to do this…read morereview is with pros and cons. PROS: Price - this condo is by far the least expensive place I've ever stayed in Vail. It is so reasonably priced that it's really hard to complain about anything. Location - this is the biggest pro of all. You are right in the middle of everything in Lionshead Village with an easy walk anywhere you want to go. I'm not sure how to classify this one, but the room and bathroom was scrupulously clean, which is always very important to me anywhere I stay. CONS: The decor is very dated and made it feel a little cheap and shabby. The sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable. It sounds silly, but there wasn't a guide for the TV channels and it wasn't on the screen itself, so if you watch TV, there will be lots of clicking around. And the things in the middle - one, there is very little parking; they have less parking than they have rooms, so beware if you are driving. We never had any issues finding a spot, but it's a little quieter in August. Finally, and I hesitate to mention this because we did not say anything to the management, but the HVAC in our room did not work. It wasn't such a big deal because the weather was very temperate and we could leave the balcony door open, but at the same time, there wasn't a screen on the sliding door, so we had some winged visitors. All in all, A-OK is probably the best way to describe the Lifthouse. I don't know if I would stay there again myself, but if someone was looking for a really reasonable room in Vail, I wouldn't hesitate to point them here with a few caveats.

This was my first time staying at the Tyra by Wyndham in Breckenridge and I was pleasantly surprised. Wyndham resorts haven't always been my favorite, however, they often offer affordable rates and decent quality places to stay. When visiting any mountain town, if you want somewhere affordable it will certainly be a little bit dated. It is pricey to have property in the mountains, so they seem to be a little behind the times when it comes to decorative updates. This remains true for this location, however, it offers plenty of space and is very accommodating for large parties. Our condo could sleep 10 people comfortably in two rooms (bunk beds provided)! It was also centrally located, and a short walk down Four O'Clock Rd. to get to Main St. where all of the dining and shopping takes place. They offer a shuttle that you can call for door to door service, and are located across the street from the free bus station if you aren't as inclined to walk. Most importantly, the place was clean! Just like a hotel, they made sure the place was fully stalked with toiletries in each bathroom as well as coffee, detergent, etc. The beds were nicely made, and were very comfortable, and there were no signs of past tenants. It made for a thoroughly enjoyable weekend. I would recommend this place for anyone visiting or looking for a nice place to rest your head during a weekend get away. It was easy
