The bathroom was spacious and something like you would have at a wellness center. The view off the balcony of the mountains in the distance is also just breathtaking. The bed was comfortable and had the right amount of softness and firmness. This was a top tier experience. The pool was heated, and the jacuzzi provided much relief as well. I found fireside online and it was by far the most affordable option in Breckenridge for a single night so I went for it in a two person dorm, and luckily I happened to be the only one in that room that night! The room was definitely snug but it was cozy and very comfortable and I slept very well. Finding the place was also very easy, they provide very clear instructions and there is plenty of parking at the church across the street (just mind their specific parking instructions and you won't have any trouble). Re: the interior: it's actually a very large place with two full baths and one half bath. I never even saw/heard another guest when I came but again it was late. The vibe was that it was a very comfy, chill place - they have soothing music playing over by the office door where the coffee/tea machines are, and there is a small kitchen and living room area. They had a real fire going in the living room area and there were games and books and lots of "things to do" brochures around, so truly it felt like being in a cozy cabin. I genuinely really loved that vibe. Not to mention it's quite close to the main road - you could easily walk but because it was raining heavily the night I came, I did drive all of 3 minutes to avoid walking 15 in the rain to the bar on Main Street I wanted to go to. They also sent me a text when i came in case i had questions, so they are available to help you. Overall - if you're coming and staying here for just a night or two and all you need is a bed/shower/safe space, this place is GREAT. The "Free Ride" city bus stops in front of the Fireside Inn, and can take you to the Gondola and Breck Station, if you don't feel like making the 7-minute walk. [Tip: Epic Mountain Express shuttle vans from the airport can drop you directly at the Fireside Inn!] Our host Madi communicated beautifully before and during our visit. She and her family have put a lot of love and thought into making this a warm refuge from the cold and excitement that is Breckenridge.

All pots and pans need to be replaced. Can't understand the lack of items. Three coffee mugs.. and lack of glassware. The condo is not a budget prices and should be better appointed. Small fixes would do a long way. Skyrum just manages the property and we're responsive to any questions. All in all the place was just OK. Parking garage was great. A little TLC would go a long way to making this property a lot more appealing for the money.

Unit 416 is in severe disrepair: holes in the walls, paint sheared away from the wall in the bathrooms, holes in the carpet, boot dryer pieces were all broken, missing the front of a bathroom vanity, fireplace broken (apparently for years), bed frames broken, broken coffee pot glass was broken), one of the shower curtains was stained brown at the bottom, toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks, the grill was filthy and tools left outside filthy from previous guest. Trash from previous occupant left in bathrooms, food crumbs found on floor after we walked in for the first time. I have emailed their director of owner relations twice after she reached out to me once during our stay only to be ignored. GM will not return email or phone call. We have sent them photo evidence, they don't care. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.

When i Asked why we didn't get the room with the view they said it was because we reserved with a third party through expedia which we thought was "VACASA" bluesky or what ever this place is... it's not a place I'll ever reserve with or do business again. Very comfortable resort as far as location and parking. There was a Pizza place close to ground floor and the smell was very temping and leads us to give it try. Going to ski runs was very convenient from this resort. Buses were coming every 15 minutes. There is a heated pool and jacuzzi as well, we got to enjoy that for one night. Positives: Walking distance to Vail Village and Lionshead but also offers free shuttle LARGE and spacious 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath unit that easily and comfortably sleeps 5 adults (3 single beds, 1 queen size bed) Well stocked kitchen - probably one of the most generously stocked kitchens complete with higher quality appliances, utensils, dishes that I've experienced via a timeshare exchange Maintenance team - we had a closet door fall off the rails and a glitchy microwave. The maintenance staff showed up promptly to resolve both issues and even gave us a newer/better microwave! Housekeeping team - we noticed vacuum marks on the sofas, a rarity! Really shows the depth of cleaning the staff does, which we sincerely appreciated. Furniture - stunning high end quality furniture not only in our unit but throughout the property. The armchairs and sofas are plush, real leather that sits so comfortably - especially after a long day of hiking or outdoor activity, we couldn't wait to prop our feet up on the sofas and rest. Free coffee/tea/hot chocolate - various Twinnings tea and a hot chocolate/cappuccino machine (the cappuccino side was out of order through the entire time we were there) Areas of Improvement: Parking is free but the up/down ramp is really only made for one car so it's not ideal. We were always cautious entering/exiting the parking area because of the narrowness of the ramp. Front Desk staff - they were always pleasant but not necessarily helpful or able to be as helpful due to language barrier. For example, we asked about nearby trails and difficulty of trails. Staff gave us rather comical misinformation (like the closest trail was only 3 minutes away vs what they told us 30 minutes away) but it's not that end of the world. At least the front desk had a book of trail descriptions which helped us make better decisions. More hospitality opportunities - there was only one social/hospitality offering during our visit, a beer tasting. I would have liked to see a light appetizer/snack social as timeshares often include these type of offerings throughout the week. But all in all, this was a fantastic resort. It's older in age but the quality of the individual unit far exceeded my expectations. I would gladly stay here again next time I travel to Vail.

I'd bought really nice cheese, pate & wine for a friend's birthday, along with leftovers from a very nice, expensive meal the night before. We walked around town that morning & came back to the hotel to grab the food & check out. The room was uncleaned & looked untouched when we walked back in but the refrigerator had been completely emptied! I checked with the front desk on what happened & was eventually told everything had been thrown out. What was the point of me telling them exactly what I was doing?! What a waste of money with everything that was thrown out & no attempt was made at making this good for me. I was very disappointed with the service. It was an inexpensive room (in the off season) & the view was nice though the room was dated & the elevator smelled.

PROS: Price - this condo is by far the least expensive place I've ever stayed in Vail. It is so reasonably priced that it's really hard to complain about anything. Location - this is the biggest pro of all. You are right in the middle of everything in Lionshead Village with an easy walk anywhere you want to go. I'm not sure how to classify this one, but the room and bathroom was scrupulously clean, which is always very important to me anywhere I stay. CONS: The decor is very dated and made it feel a little cheap and shabby. The sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable. It sounds silly, but there wasn't a guide for the TV channels and it wasn't on the screen itself, so if you watch TV, there will be lots of clicking around. And the things in the middle - one, there is very little parking; they have less parking than they have rooms, so beware if you are driving. We never had any issues finding a spot, but it's a little quieter in August. Finally, and I hesitate to mention this because we did not say anything to the management, but the HVAC in our room did not work. It wasn't such a big deal because the weather was very temperate and we could leave the balcony door open, but at the same time, there wasn't a screen on the sliding door, so we had some winged visitors. All in all, A-OK is probably the best way to describe the Lifthouse. I don't know if I would stay there again myself, but if someone was looking for a really reasonable room in Vail, I wouldn't hesitate to point them here with a few caveats.
