This cute little house sits right on Main St and is directly behind the Peak 8 gondolas at Breckenridge. There were 16 of us who stayed in the house and there was plenty of room! There are 5 master rooms, 1 room with twin beds, 1 room with 4 bunk beds, 7 bathrooms, a nice kitchen with 6 burners, and two large TV rooms. I'm slightly claustrophobic and thought that I would have a minor freak out but in the end, I couldn't tell that there were 16 people roaming around. Next time there is a large group going up for the weekend, I will look here first. I loved the history of the house, in which the owners gladly share with you.

If you're looking for a ski getaway weekend with a large group, whether for business, family, or…read morepleasure, this is your rental. While it looks like a small, quaint home from the outside, it completely opens once inside, and easily accommodates a large group. The entrance to the home is to the rear and faces the mountain, sharing a parking lot with Blue River Bistro and almost adjacent to Daylight Donuts, the locals' favorite spot for donuts and breakfast sandwiches. The home is not ski in/ski out, but a very close walk to the gondola that takes you to the base of the mountain. The location on Main Street is fantastic to enjoy the true ski town of Breckenridge, as shops, boutiques, restaurants and bars are right down the street in easy walking distance. Upon entering the house, you go thru a small ski/dry room for we skis/snowboards (this, in fact, was the only thing we wished was a little larger in the house) and into a large dining area, complete with a large dining room table. The kitchen, complete with a welcome bottle of wine & owners' contact information, is slate tile on the floors, stainless steel appliances, and a Viking grill with pop-up background. The living room(s), there are two, are furnished with excellent taste, Pottery Barn-style, and comfortable. The front living room (near the kitchen) has a large drop-down projection screen, fantastic for watching NFL football on the Sunday afternoon we were there. The back room also has a 42inch+ TV that was used for watching movies while the game was on, and also for more quiet reading and relaxation. The bedrooms are all fantastically furnished, sleigh beds, comfortable furnishings and accoutrements, with TVs in most of the rooms. Most are queen-size beds, and there is a bedroom in the basement with two sets of bunk beds. One of the bedrooms even has a large hot tub in the bathroom, that easily fits 4-6 people. Lastly, outside, there's a hot tub on the deck, fantastic for relaxing after a long hard day on the mountain. The owners were fantastic to deal with, and overrall, this is just simply a fantastic ski retreat! (Only caveat is to watch out for the town cops...they're ready to trap and record speeding tickets)

I found fireside online and it was by far the most affordable option in Breckenridge for a single night so I went for it in a two person dorm, and luckily I happened to be the only one in that room that night! The room was definitely snug but it was cozy and very comfortable and I slept very well. Finding the place was also very easy, they provide very clear instructions and there is plenty of parking at the church across the street (just mind their specific parking instructions and you won't have any trouble). Re: the interior: it's actually a very large place with two full baths and one half bath. I never even saw/heard another guest when I came but again it was late. The vibe was that it was a very comfy, chill place - they have soothing music playing over by the office door where the coffee/tea machines are, and there is a small kitchen and living room area. They had a real fire going in the living room area and there were games and books and lots of "things to do" brochures around, so truly it felt like being in a cozy cabin. I genuinely really loved that vibe. Not to mention it's quite close to the main road - you could easily walk but because it was raining heavily the night I came, I did drive all of 3 minutes to avoid walking 15 in the rain to the bar on Main Street I wanted to go to. They also sent me a text when i came in case i had questions, so they are available to help you. Overall - if you're coming and staying here for just a night or two and all you need is a bed/shower/safe space, this place is GREAT. Admittedly the rooms aren't big (at least mine wasn't), but again as a solo traveler it was fine. Would def rec to friends :)

Sturdy, grated outside steps lead to this suite, for safe access and for privacy. The location is unbeatable, just a 3-block walk to town and to all of the shops and restaurants. The "Free Ride" city bus stops in front of the Fireside Inn, and can take you to the Gondola and Breck Station, if you don't feel like making the 7-minute walk. [Tip: Epic Mountain Express shuttle vans from the airport can drop you directly at the Fireside Inn!] Our host Madi communicated beautifully before and during our visit. She and her family have put a lot of love and thought into making this a warm refuge from the cold and excitement that is Breckenridge.

A private bathroom in the room and a small kitchenette. We asked about the rooms when we got there. The site was confusing. We thought it was a shared bathroom for everyone. That's not the case. Most rooms have their own bathroom. The staff is very personable and helpful for local tips. The breakfast was very good. They cook a hot breakfast to order. Our first morning there, we had a hiccup and I think we were forgotten about after we ordered food. We waited an hour and finally left. We were so late getting on the mountain. We didn't get our first run til 11. Other than that one issue, everything has been great and the breakfast the following two mornings came out within mins. I think it was an honest mistake but we all just brushed it off. Thank you, Claire for your hospitality. You made our home away from home very comfortable. I had to write a review. This was so worth it. I looked at the reviews before we came to see how the beds are. The mattress is comfortable in the room we had. I didn't wake up feeling like I was hit by a bus. They have an entire dvd collection that we put to good use. The town is very cute and great food locally. There is a bus that will shuttle you to copper and breck. The hot tub fits about 6 in there. Very nice to have after a day of boarding. Thank you Frisco Lodge. We will definitely be bs

Our room had a shared bath with 4 other rooms. But we never ran into a problem. There were 2 bathrooms for 8 rooms upstairs. A few also had their own en suite. The room was well appointed, the hosts were delightful and full of recommendations for the village. The courtyard is adorable but it was a bit too chilly to spend much time there. Walking distance to everything in the village. And breakfast was SO good. They went out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free options which was so kind. Even had handmade lattes and barista drinks by request. All included!

Be aware that the hotel front desk will not assist anyone staying through VRBO and every interaction with Hunter was extremely unpleasant. He was consistently rude and unhelpful. When we asked about parking availability in town, we were given the incorrect information. We ultimately had to find parking on our own and it was significantly closer than what the hotel recommended. When our unit owner contacted the front desk to ask for assistance retrieving our key from the locker, Hunter appeared visibly annoyed he had to help. Additionally, when we asked the front desk to provide a key that we gave to him to our adult children upon their arrival, he refused. The hotel feels dated and tired and the food was inedible. The hot tub was not very hot. While many of these issues might have been overlooked given the great location, the consistently rude and unprofessional from desk made the stay far less enjoyable.

I will never stay here again…read more We come to breck all the time, had some friends staying here so tried it out. We rented a 3 bedroom apartment. My wife got here at check-in and I had forgotten to put her in reservation. At any other hotel this is easily resolvable, especially hotels that are at this price point. Sean, the manager, made my wife incredibly uncomfortable by being aggressive and dismissive. She called me ans asked if eh would talk to me, he aggressively said "what's his phone miner? Don't ask him!" He then said that she doesn't even have my last name... mind you that's not always the case Sean! My wife had our two toddlers after a long car ride and just needed some compassion and a bit of instruction on how to fix the situation but was instead met with hostility. I showed up around 7pm and Sean immediately became shaking upset when I tried to jsut describe how he could have jsut told my wife or me (on the phone) to call a number and add her. He checked me in and gave me a key, no holder with room number, had to ask, no parking instructions (only one spot), no map of property, no WiFi code... no apology without BS excuses. I regularly get better service at a Courtyard Marriott. If you are looking for somewhere great to stay I reccomend you go to the Grand Colorado or anywhere else in town. Learn to be nicer Sean it goes a long way. Max shouldn't have to apologize for you. Max, you rock!

After waiting more than two hours, maintenance finally showed up and said there was a major leak that couldn't be fixed. At 10 p.m., we had to move everyone--seniors included--to another property the host provided. The replacement house did not fit our group, so several elderly guests had to sleep on couches and bunk beds for two nights. To make matters worse, the next day the host claimed the basement at the first house was flooded and said we might be responsible for the damages, even though maintenance clearly caused or discovered the issue. They even accused us of sabotaging the system, which was ridiculous since we had no access to it. They eventually offered us a small refund that didn't even cover the cost of one night at the new rental -- a place we didn't choose and that still failed to accommodate everyone. This was one of the worst rental experiences we've ever had. The hosts were dishonest, unprofessional, and refused to take responsibility for their own mistakes. I would absolutely avoid this company and any properties they manage.
