She has arranged numerous trips for us, but more importantly, she has rescued us and our family members numerous times. She arranged a Camino de Santiago de Compustela trip last year that I consider one of my best ever trips. She and her partner, Eric, are phenomenal!

Something in my gut told me that it was you I spoke with though - So, I went back and pulled up my phone records for last month and Yes, Mam - we spoke. You called me back after I had left you a message on July 25th @ 4:39 pm from phone number 919-589-2437 and we spoke for 12 mins. I did enjoy my vacation, by the way. Thanks!

This was the worst mistake of my life hiring this heartless woman to book a honeymoon. From the…read morevery start she was not very helpful or descriptive about my options. Don't expect for her to get back with you until she is ready,(unless your pockets are fat) and then she will rush you off the phone. I was excited about our honeymoon and put down a deposit. My fiance lost her job and was out of work for three months. This put a lot of financial burden on us. We decided to book our own room at a local beach and cancel. She wanted us to stay with her and work something out, but I didn't feel helping us was on her mind and felt pressed as she ask me questions like are you going with another agent, ummmm no we have to pay for our own wedding and now we have hardly any funds. I just wanted a refund minus any penalty. Then she sends me an invoice so she could cancel our reservation. I already gave a hefty deposit its beyond me why she can't take out penalty from deposit. None of these policies were gone over or explianed when I booked this in the beginning. Then she says on the phone "I don't get paid unless you travel what am I going to get for all my hard work?" WOW really? This really made me upset and made my fiance Livid she called and of course could not get through and left some angry voice mails. She tried to throw these back in my face by sending them in attachments back at me in an email. If she explained all of this from the beginning all of this miscommunication could have been avoided. Whatever happened to customer service? This is money that I worked hard for and wanted to enjoy a honeymoon with my lady. She had no sympathy or understanding about my situation. then she doubled the penalty for cancellation after she got off the phone. She claimed I was rushing her off the phone, but I was at work at my Full Time Job and had to get back to it. At this point I am probably never going to see the significant deposit amount credited back to my card and now im stuck paying interest on a horrible experience. Buyer beware! She has no care except to fill her pockets.

Since…read morethen, they are under new ownership and I had fingers crossed that they would be just as good and they are! Barbara Beam helped to plan an important "Girl's Trip" for me and my friends to the Dominican Republic. We had such a wonderful and memorable time there! It took a long time to plan as we were quite indecisive at first. Barbara was patient and there for us every step of the way to make recommendations. She listened and asked questions to help narrow down exactly what we did (and did not) want. She nailed it! The entire trip (and planning) was seamless with her help. Throughout the planning, we never felt rushed and had all questions answered even up until the week we were leaving. We didn't have to really "think" too much on this holiday. All documents were given to us ahead of time, transportation was booked, and we felt very comfortable that we would be able to reach her during our trip at any point if needed. I will absolutely book trips with Barbara at Travel Experts of Cary again. Can't wait!

Shari is absolutely WONDERFUL!! We were not planning on using a travel agent for our cruise and just booking directly with the cruise line. At the last minute before we paid for the cruise we decided to just get some information from a travel agent and see if we would like to go that route. Looking back, I am so thankful we chose Shari to work with us. Unfortunately the ship we were booked on caught on fire and our cruise was cancelled. Shari worked many long hours just for our family to get us booked on another cruise because we had a very limited time frame that we would even be able to take a vacation this year. Shari worked her magic like a pro and got us on an even better ship for a very minimal increase in price. She also ended up saving us more money in the end that we didn't expect. I could have NEVER done this without her! We are so thankful that we found Shari and we will use her for all our future family vacations.

Will not use this Travel Service ever again Thanks to one of the travel agents Margie Schwartz…read more This was my first time dealing with an agent to help plan a Las Vegas Birthday getaway, and I was connect with Ms. Schwartz and it was a nightmare due to her lack of communication about things the client needed to know about the resort that was chosen as well as her discussing who paid what and who has not paid anything with other people that are going on this trip which was completely out of line. When we called the hotel/resort on the strip to get any last minute information needed that is when we found out about the amount of the incidental charge for each day! Spoke to Ms. Schwartz about this and she gives wrong information, and informs one of the people going on the trip that she would call back and she never called back. I asked why she did not return to the person that was inquiring about the charges she simply said because to me "I just thought you would relay the answer." WHAT!!! No apology what so ever about the issues that have been endured during this process and the lack of empathy - not good for customer service-

I have been extremely pleased with services I received at this location on multiple times. Owning a vehicle comes with regular maintenance and I'm glad I can trust AAA with my vehicle needs in these last couple months. They alleviated a lot of stress. The open desk arrangement for service managers (and travel agents) is accessible and comfortable. The comprehensive safety check sounds good in theory but, in substance, not thorough- they missed noting my cabin air filter was removed. The video with the report is non-specific and mostly for "show." However, they did catch my need to replace spark plugs, which was needed per spec. The service manager, Mike, handles customers well and I appreciate the good value he gave me honoring a AAA coupon; no games. I often do this kind of routine work myself, but this was a cost effective and comfortable alternative to "DIY" in 85 degree heat.
