I've been a loyal customer for many years, always bringing my dry cleaning to your Pleasant Street…read morelocation before it closed and then to your Auburn location. The women at the Auburn location are professional, very kind, and helpful with specialty and designer garments. However, I am seriously concerned about the man who works there. I believe he's the only man who operates in the front of the store. I am writing this formal complaint because he is consistently condescending and passive-aggressive, which is in stark contrast to the other employees. This is why I feel compelled to raise this issue and escalate my complaint about the mistreatment I've experienced as a customer by this employee. On the 18th, while I was waiting at 9:00, he came out from the back, appearing annoyed that I was there, and mumbled under his breath. When he took my bag, he remarked, "You couldn't take it out of the bag?" and added, "I don't know if there is poop or urine on your clothes." I was shocked and disgusted by his tone. I want to make it clear that I would never bring clothes like that. That is not my character, and the other associates can confirm this as I am a business professional myself. When I asked him for his name and the owner's number, he refused both requests. I have never experienced poor service from anyone else there. This man behaves in a toxic and disrespectful manner and takes no ownership of his words or actions. He claims to treat everyone the same, but I have seen him speak to others neutrally. I hope your store's cameras and audio captured the incident because I want this behavior addressed to prevent harm to your business. I would appreciate a phone call if you would like to discuss this further. To resolve this, I request a formal written apology from this employee, a commitment that he will receive customer service retraining, and that you inform me in writing of any corrective actions taken. Additionally, please outline the steps the company will take to ensure respectful treatment of customers from now on and keep me updated on your progress. Until these actions are taken and I receive confirmation, I will not return to Dooley's.

After bringing it back, I had to show the gentleman that it had not been cleaned properly. He consistently told me that it had been cleaned until I had to show him the stains, lint, dirt and food that was still there. When I went back for the second time, I had to put the coat on immediately and left the store, not noticing that it still had not been cleaned properly. I was wearing it in front of a very reputable seamstress and dry cleaner who advised me to take it back again. For $27, I would NOT recommend going there.

We dropped off his polo, and after a few days, got it back in pristine condition! It even felt like it was new. With regard to wedding gown alterations; be very clear with what your expectations are. For…read moreexample, specify the cup size you want ahead of time. Also, the fasteners they use to hold the train are not strong enough and difficult to find once on the gown. I felt as though my daughters $2k dress was handled badly. It was dragged through a dirty environment, all types and colors of thread needed to be picked from the lace. To be fair, the people who work there are very nice and wanted to please. They did a nice job with hemming the gown that had a lot of lace on it. I feel as though they may be taking on more than they can handle...thus less attention to detail in talking with and helping the bride to be. They need to clean and organize their shop.

When I finally got my coat, it had been relined (which I did NOT want or ask for) and an antique button was LOST. I was sympathetic to the fact that she'd been in a bad accident, but there is not excuse for devaluing one client in favor of others.
