And wherever you go you always try to find something that reminds you of home and your mummy's food. Christos tavern is an OK tavern for someone living abroad. I have heard people saying that it is one of the best restaurants in Aberdeen, and maybe it is, but as a Greek I have to say that if this tavern was in Greece it would not have been very popular. The decoration of the tavern is a bit cheesy, and the food is not as great as proper Greek taverns give out. It is eatable and fresh, but again it cannot be compared to the Greek whole flavour taste of a proper made Greek dish. However, what I really do not like is the attitude that if we are a company of more than 8 people we have to pay the bill together, and not use our cards individually for 8 times. So yeah, I believe, that if Christos (the owner) could put some more effort into his business it would have been a nice restaurant in the city centre of Aberdeen and he would see many more Greek faces joining and advertising his premises :)
