If you want a decent 3-course Italian lunch for under a tenner then check this place out. My mates and I used to go here at least once a month for lunch while we were at uni - they had a great little £7.95 prix fixe menu and from what I hear it is still in existence.
The food isn't going to blow you away but for the same price as a restaurant burger you can have a pretty good starter, main, and desert with a cup of tea/coffee. The staff were always very friendly (although maybe too friendly - after we had got aquainted with the waiter from our regular visits he figured it acceptable to take out his mobile and show us a 'home-video' of a girl he knows from Perth doing things unsuitable for meal-time viewing. The girl in question happened to be an old school friend of one of my mates which just added to the surreal nature of the situation but that is another matter entirey and I shall digress). On top of this there was always a small band of serious looking well-dressed men in nice suits speaking in Italian and we liked to think it was the local 'family' discussing business... what authenticity!
Anyhow, we liked Antonios and with our regular attendance it probably merits a 3.5 but rounding down seems more accurrate than up. read more
