Their Happy…read moreHour runs from 3-6pm (and all day on Wednesdays), with food menu only available in the restaurant. My spouse and I each ordered a Martini (with house New Amsterdam gin), which we enjoyed. We also each ordered the Thai Chicken Nachos from the Happy Hour menu -- a generous, flavorful dish with plenty left to take home for the next day. (My repeat order, it's that good!) What really stood out was how warm, friendly, and attentive the wait staff was to everyone. A very enjoyable visit and a spot we're happy to return to.

Let's talk about this…read more. WaterFire has been our staple for date night times away from the kids. Although the previous experience has been great this time was lackluster. What was once our flavorful regular was now a dull and bland. Au jus was water with a hint of flavor, horseradish sauce was a warm water based cream with the deprived pungent horseradish taste we've all grown to love. The French dip sadly tasted better without all of its companions. Next up was the Wagyu cheeseburger, seemed to have a grainy texture to its bites, with a disappointing finish. The WF calamari was tweaked adding green olives and whole tentacles, which was weird considering it's never been that way. Honestly the best item we got was the Gorgonzola wagyu beef kabobs. These were cooked to perfection and gave us that reversion we craved. Although this was our first bad experience here, it will not deter us from returning. When I get the chance to revisit I will update this review in hopes for the better.

After letting the hostess know that we had arrived for our reservation, they let us know that they were busy and that we had to complete our meal within an a time frame. After being shown to our table, we were given menus, and then we begin to browse. We decided to get the goat cheese appetizer. This is really interesting because it came with green onions and cranberries. Overall, this dish tasted really good. It comes hot so it's best to eat it right away. We then also got the sausage and pepperoni pizza to share. The portion was a good size and it was delicious. You can tell it came straight out of the oven. For our main entrées, we got the hot sausage and veg penne pasta, as well as the Gorgonzola lemon tortellini. Both of the portions were a good size. I personally enjoyed the Gorgonzola lemon tortellini, which was tasty and very rich. My partner got the hot sausage and veg penne pasta and unfortunately it didn't hit. They said it just didn't mesh well together and needed a sauce or something to bring it together. After a meal, we were able to get some to go boxes and enjoy our leftovers the next day. We did not end up using all of the time that they had told us initially.

I really wanted to give this place 4 stars because the market is so cute, the building has amazing potential and really did like the frozen lasagna the one time I had that as a takeout item. I am open to trying again but wasn't impressed with enchiladas, burger (drowned in mayo) or especially the fish and chips. I have had better at a couple fast food places, a diner, a dive bar and food truck in the area.

The pineapple was a crisp refreshing stand out dark horse. I probably wouldn't have ordered pineapple that was my husband's choice, but it was definitely my favorite. We also tried strawberry, mango, and orange. That is my order of deliciousness as well. I had the California eggs benny, they brought it with gluten free bread. The Benny was on point. The first slice revealed a luscious silky egg yolk. I felt like I needed a drum roll for the most perfect poached eggs! Hats off to the chef! My husband had the steak and eggs, with sourdough toast. I think he licked the plate. The steak was also perfectly pink in the center. My son chose the berry crepes, they were covered in berries. He enjoyed his breakfast. Don't skip out on sausage. We added sausage, the little plump sausages were a great addition to the sweet crepes. My daughter is a little breakfast picky, but their fruit bowl was impressive. She loved that the fruit was sweet and the presentation was standing up. We also ordered the corn chowder from the specialty menu. It was delicious, but lots of food. We took it to go!

I have to say that after coming here for a friends 40th birthday, this is the type of spot we would hang out! We came on a Saturday evening for karaoke which started at nine and went to the wee hours of the morning. The cuddled up to the bar and some friends played pulltabs for something like two hours. They have a decent beer selection including some local stuff and a number of pool tables and dartboards on the area opposite the karaoke. The bartenders were all very nice and took really good care of everyone here, despite it being crazy. I didn't have a chance to sample any of the food, but they had a rather extensive list of burgers and sandwiches. I think it's a sort of spot we're going to need to come back to for lunch someday! Pulltabs are definitely not my thing, but for those that enjoy them, they had something like 20 different options. A good spot to check out if you're looking for somewhere to hang or dive bar at which to do karaoke.
