We ordered the Twin Barns burger, that comes between two grilled cheeses. There was almost no cheese in these grilled cheeses, and the burgers came without mayo in them, but instead they threw some Mayo, ketchup, and mustard packets on the tray. Also it said that it's coming with a pickle but it was missing too. My husband left a tip when he ordered but he really regretted doing that. I understand that when it's busy it can be stressful, but please try to maintain a good service so customers will keep coming in. This was our second visit here and I wish I could leave a better review. I really do. I like the atmosphere here, and the raspberry sour beer was very good (and that's from a non-beer drinker). But the service is inexcusably slow, especially given the prices. Our group of four waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for three burgers and a chicken sandwich (our bill before tip was $100, which included one beer each). I talked to the manager and she apologized and said there were only three people working in the kitchen and they were slammed. She offered us chips and salsa to keep us happy. I felt sorry for all of the families who were trying to keep their young children entertained while they waited for their food. We're local and unfortunately we probably won't be back. read more

Food is pretty expensive for what you get - $15 for an average size burger with potato chips and $14 for a flatbread the size of a Mama Celeste frozen pizza (though much tastier). Stopped in a couple weeks ago for lunch - we were looking for a dog friendly place. Great outdoor areas to sit. There was already a dog there and a couple more showed up while we were there. A great brewery with great beer and good food. I am a local and have been going there since they opened. The owner is a genius, keeping it fresh by experimenting with new brews and sours and modifying the menu. He's much more than that, however. During off-season he brings-in local chefs, has taco-off competitions with the other lake breweries, has added the food truck and van service to the town docks, and really did good work on the outdoor beer garden. He's managed to balance selling his main brews in cans at the local food stores, along with organic growth - even opening a new tap room up in Woodstock. This guy doesn't sleep. He keeps the product high quality, keeps the facility welcoming, and this son-of-a-gun knows how to manage a business. I keep coming, everyone else keeps coming, and the model works just fine for us ! If you haven't tried it, give it a shot. If you still like it as much as when you started going, then keep going! read more

We must have hit a bad day. The food was not very good. We had the French dip sandwich with French onion soup. Very small portions for the price. Bread was burnt and soggy with barely any meat and the soup was sparse with not much flavor. There were less than 10 beers to choose from for a brewery. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff though. I loved the casual, family feel that this brewery has! Very rustic and homey-feeling. I got the pulled pork mac n cheese. It was delicious and there was A LOT of it! Great bang for my buck! Twin Barns Brewing has a great atmosphere and plenty of amazing options for all people. I went on a night with live music which was very enjoyable and added to my overall experience. I started with a flight that included the Lake Cruiser DIPA, McGuigan Breakfast Stout, Blackberry Sour, and the 1810 Dunkel. I especially loved the DIPA and the sour! Great new place. We visited on the way to Wolfeboro. Lunch was great and the beer was outstanding. We met one of the owners and the head brewer. We have been here a few times and what we are all really here for is the craft beer ! We did enjoy many items on the menu- the pretzels are so amazing with the beer. The atmosphere is really fun & I love seeing the kids enjoying the games with their families. We were there also for the music bingo which was a ton of fun. The reason for my poor review is that we sat down and not one person came over to serve us and the owner is standing right here talking to the people right next to us and never even acknowledged us. It was 9:30pm - no one in the place. Have never been to a brewery where the owners were not engaged. Also he was rude to the staff in front of patrons. Totally caters to tourists. They will learn soon enough that the locals like us will sustain them through the long winters. read more

Staff was fantastic, after realizing I left my credit card behind and was 150 miles south I called and explained my situation, who ever took my call mailed my credit card to my home address and it was in my mail box waiting for me when I arrived home from vacation. My husband and I sat at the bar for a solid 10 minutes before being acknowledged. The bartender finally got us drinks. I will say that I had the raspberry sour and I love sour beers and it was amazing. She offered us food menus but never came back to take our order so we finished our drinks and left after paying. The Lake Cruiser is one of the best beers I've had and the other beers on tap are just as good. The McGuigan Stout and Burlwood Porter are perfect for those who enjoy a crisp and dark beer. If you enjoy skiing in NH, then TBBC is a necessary stop in it's relaxing and authentic ambiance. read more

Can't say enough about the beer and the atmosphere. The brewery is a really great old timber farm barn. It is an open and airy space with a nice overlook into the brewery. Plenty of communal and bar seating. The beer was excellent fresh and crisp. Tried both the Sandbar and the Palmer IPA. Wish I could have brought some more home. Will be back a lot! We went as a couple for a beer and a snack and would definitely go back. This is not your typical place for that. It's a 'sit yourself anywhere' place, mostly large picnic tables. We shared ours with others and did not feel we were 'invaded' or were 'invading'. You order food and drink at the bar. We shared garlic parmesan wings and I had the blond ale, which I enjoyed ( I am not an IPA guy and prefer pilsner). She doesn't drink beer... shame. As for the food, their burgers are really high quality and the chili is really tasty! This is pretty much the world's worst designed brewery. We've tried to go to this place 3-4 times but then turned away at the disaster of the parking lot. Some of us managed to get spots this time so we decided to give it a go. It was a disaster from the start and I wanted to bail but was overruled by others. We were outside and you need to order beer and food from one of the two bartenders. This slows the line to a crawl so if you just want another beer you need to wait in a 15 minute line to get it. The ran out of everything outside or IPAs, Imperial Stouts, and Sours so my wife's not happy. The food was a disaster a because we had to go inside, to the pit and to the outside food truck to pick it up. They then messed up our order so we were just wandering around asking where our food was. My son got so aggravated he is sitting in the car pouting. I don't think anyone enjoyed this experience and I don't think we'll ever come here again. read more

The food was terrible and cold. I am not one who typically writes reviews but this new business needs to straighten out their kitchen. The beer was good but should have been colder. My wife had the soup which she also said was cold and tasted terrible. I had the BBQ plate and the ribs were cold with insufficient sauce. We threw out 80% of the meal. read more
