They poured concrete on 3/10/2025 and on 3/19, I decided to pay them the last bit just so they would stop bothering me. I feel sick looking at the terrible job they did. There's holes all over my concrete from shotty finishing and not vibrating, there's 3/8" low spots that hold water everywhere. They had to install a "bump" at the entrance so the garage door would meet the pad. From day 2, the garage door didn't close anymore. When I mentioned this to them, they sent out someone who opted to grab materials hanging off my wall, and come up with a "makeshift" solution rather than actually fixing it. I later fixed it myself in literally 5min. The "bump" they formed in isn't smooth and is completely different from one side to the other. I'm having to buy materials to redo it myself (Hundreds of dollars in material). They didn't cut in a single stress relief line in the whole 30x30 pad so I had to buy tools to do that too. They installed "drains" at the front of my shop so water would have somewhere to go. Naturally, they opted to steal conduit from my storage without even mentioning anything to me. On top of their thievery, the drains didn't even work. Their solution? Send someone over to hammer through the slab with rebar so the water drains under my slab... Causing erosion issues in the future. I should have hired an American company from the start. Not some unprofessional day labour company. Absolutely a total waste of money and I sorely regret ever giving them a dollar. I 100% could have done a better concrete job and I'm an electrician!

Unfortunately none of it could be saved..not even the concrete pad due to moisture getting underneath it all. We looked around for different Masonry businesses and luckily we found Crute's Custom Brick. The business was conveniently located near our home and photos of previous work done is always great to see (along with great reviews of course). Mike came out and listened to what we were looking to do, got a few sample bricks to bring out for us to choose a style, and once we said good to go...he started the next day! Mike is an extremely hard worker, courteous, and extremely communicative throughout the whole process. He takes his time to make sure everything is done right and points out anything that may seem out of the ordinary. The end result was fabulous and we will definitely use his services again. I highly recommend Crute's Custom Brick to anyone. Yes, it's a small business but we are huge supporters of small businesses especially when excellent customer service is displayed.

They engaged in the most deceptive business practices, and I would **never** recommend them to anyone. First off, they required me to pay **50% upfront** before doing any work, insisting on payment through **Cash App** or **Venmo**--which should have been a huge red flag. I trusted them and made the payment, but after that... **radio silence**. I didn't hear from them for a full **three weeks** after handing over the deposit. When I called to check on the status of the job, they didn't even know I had paid the deposit. Daniel had previously told me that they could get the job done within a couple of weeks, but now, **three weeks** had passed with no progress. Finally, after calling again, I was told the earliest they could do the job was almost **five weeks out**--and they already had my deposit. The owner, **Daniel**, came out to give the estimate and made all sorts of promises about how great the job would be. He even assured me he could **hide our electrical wiring**, which **never happened**. Before sending the deposit, I spoke to **Julie** at the office and emailed her a picture of what I wanted done. She confirmed it would be no problem and assured me she'd send the details over to Daniel. Everything seemed set, so I sent the **$2,500 deposit** via **Cash App**--huge mistake. When the crew finally showed up to do the work, **nobody knew anything about the design** I requested. I was told they could do it, but it would cost an **extra $700** because they needed to drive **10 miles** back to their shop to get a different stamp. A **10-mile trip** that would have taken **maybe 30 minutes** round-trip. They refused to work with us or compromise at all, making it clear that if I wanted the job done, I'd have to pay more. There was also NO consideration for the 60 square feet less that was not done. The patio was quoted at 15x16 and what was done was 15x12. The staff and owner was unwilling to do anything to help resolve the issue. As a homeowner, you're left feeling completely **screwed**. They had already taken my **$2,500** through Cash App, and I knew I wasn't getting it back. It's impossible to dispute or get a refund once money is sent that way, and they know it. Do yourself a favor--**avoid this company** at all costs. They have no regard for customer satisfaction and will **take advantage of you** the moment they have your money!!!
