Absolutely not. My 30X30 garage is a straight forward, bare minimum job actually requiring only insulation, hanging sheet rock and making cut outs for lighting and some trim. This was EASY work. Tell the truth! I have my own electrician and painter so no add-on's or kick backs for referrals. THATS why this was low priority. This man is cherry picking the jobs he will even write estimates on, at the expense of peoples time. That is unethical. The poor perception was well earned. The disappearance is fact. Nevertheless, yes I've got this. And good luck with your career beloved. read more

We selected Forte to do some rain damage to our home. Bayram came out and later sent us an estimate for what actually was a lot of damage that the adjuster could see. His team of guys were on time and came ready for the unknown things as well. Bayram takes a lot of pride in making sure a job is well done and he knew what to expect and yes he was right. Deciding which company to choose regarding our bathroom renovation was not an easy task, however after seeing the work done at a friends home, we decided to go with Forte. The pricing was fair- in our budget and comparable to other companies we spoke with. In addition to our bathroom, we also had the carpet on the second level and stairs replaced with engineered hardwood flooring. Pros- The crew was on time and worked diligently through out the day. We felt comfortable leaving them alone in our home. Any questions that came up during the project, were always asked and taken care of immediately. Our project manager, Mark, was friendly and thorough in explaining things to the crew and visited near daily. Our final project was exactly as pictured in the renderings- which was amazing. It was a very cool experience seeing it come from my head, to the rendering and finally walking into the completed bathroom. Tamis, the admin, was a pleasure to work with. The original bathroom had water leaks which resulted in horrible damage to the sub floor and ceiling in the room below. The crew made sure to take up all the damaged floor and replace and waterproof it to avoid it from happening again. The ceiling below the bathroom was replaced and the entire ceiling of the affected room was repainted. The gentleman who redid the stairs spent several days working on getting the stain on the rails to perfectly match our new floors- and it's a perfect match. Cons- Actually getting our project started took longer than estimated. Emails went days without being answered and I had to verify payments and selections had been received/reviewed. We had to go through about 4 different vanity selections due to delays in either Forte making the orders or supply issues, resulting in selecting different plumbing fixtures nearly every time the vanity choice was out of stock. The shower surround had to be resealed various times- and still has some leaking areas. The vanities were caulked with shiny caulk and pulled away from the vanity top- this was corrected days after the project was completed, but has since occurred again, the project was just finished in August of 2021. The door had to be rehung and change opening directions due to the new shower, however it is now ( only 5 months after the project) sagging and scratching the new tile. The crew cleaned up after themselves throughout and after the project was done, however there was lots of debris left underneath the vanity. Overall- We enjoyed working with Forte's crew and love our new bathroom. read more

We chose Forte Construction for our bathroom renovation after several recommendations from neighbors. From start to finish they were responsive, helpful and always polite and professional. They worked everyday until they completed the job....not only on time but a day early and we couldn't be happier. I also have to compliment how organized the whole process was and how quickly our questions and changes were addressed and handled. The job site was kept extremely neat and they took extra care to ensure dust from the demolition and drywall work didn't make it's way into the rest of my house. Our experience with Forte Construction was really great. We needed to replace carpet with hardwood flooring and match it to existing hardwood floors. Previous estimates came out and told us they could install prefab flooring, but it would not be a 100% match, which wasn't acceptable. Bayram proposed we refinish all the flooring and restain to our desired color and the results were beyond my expectations. Absolutely stunning. They also replaced our stair balusters, which was icing on the cake. The cost was competitive with others, the crew showed up on time each day and were very professional and friendly. The aftermath: we found a small cosmetic problem in one of the stair risers that needed corrected. Forte stands by their work and sent someone out promptly to repair the problem. I had my dining room converted to a den, an extension in a bed room, and some painting. Everett was the contractor, He was very nice always pleasant and listen to all my ideas. It was in January of last year when we had our one big snow, so we lost a few days of work. To help stay on time he and his crew worked weekends. FC&D was fantastic. I had my floors refinished from a reddish-orange to a beautiful "greige" (gray and beige). They were on time every day and were extremely profession and truly cared about my overall satisfaction with the project. These guys are amazing! The attention to detail they put into their work is second to none. We had a foyer, upstairs hallway and a very complex curved staircase that was very difficult to refinish. We hated the old color among other things and they made it look fantastic when it was done. We also had old ugly carpet in our living room and dining room that we wanted ripped out and replaced with hardwood flooring. When they came in to do that part of the job, not only were they done by lunch time, but they did the job perfectly. The manager, Bayram, was on site almost daily to make sure we were happy with everything. There were a few minor things with the staircase that we noticed and he made sure everything was perfect. He double checked with us with everything to make sure we were 100% satisfied with every detail. The lady in the office that handled communication and scheduling, Tamis, was super sweet and a pleasure to talk to. 100% go with Forte. You won't be disappointed. read more

Used FORTE for a full master bath remodel down to the studs. They started within a week of our scheduled time. The team showed up every day at the same time until the work was completed. I had six change orders that were excecated flawlessly. Quality was top notch, I had something like six punch list items that got knocked out in no time. Hired Forte Construction to frame out and drywall a wall to separate a laundry room from a half bath, patch drywall in one wall and ceiling, and to install a vent. Work was completed a day ahead of schedule, I could not even believe how quickly they worked. The quote for the work was very reasonable (I provided all materials) and very quick turnaround time from once we agreed to do the work. I'd had been having a difficult time finding someone to take this job-very pleased I found a company that takes small jobs. I would absolutely considering hiring them again in the future. read more

We hired Forte to refinish our wood floors on the entire first floor of our house and the stairs going up to the 2nd floor. We could not be more pleased! They did excellent work! We asked them to match the newly installed upstairs hallway. They said it would be around an 80% match. It matches perfectly! Forte Construction & Design started with remodeling my small bathroom, installing a new vanity, toilet, lighting fixtures, and porcelain tiles, etc., and they did such a great job I had them do my master bathroom remodel, whole house hardwood flooring, laundry room flooring and various other jobs. The Foreman and his crew started work promptly every day and were professional and courteous. Their work ethic was refreshing- no smoking breaks, no chit chatting, no checking their cell phones, just working! They cleaned up their work area at the end of each day and did top notch work. I was apprehensive to hire a contractor for these jobs because anyone can make you promises about what they're going to do and then when it comes time to do the job those promises are far from what transpires, but I was not disappointed with Forte Construction.... they actually did what they said they were going to do. The Project Manager was always available and responsive to my questions or concerns and frequently showed up to the job site to ensure that all work performed was to my satisfaction and listened to all concerns that I had and addressed/corrected them. I always like to do as much DIY as I can in my home but when it came to extending my hardwood floors into my master bedroom, I knew I needed a professional. It was like their advertisement came to me in the perfect moment and so I contacted them right away. They were able to give me a reasonable quote for my request in minutes and able to book a time for installation within less than a week. The team came to our home, they were polite, respectful, and got right down to business. We had done all the ripping out and demolition of old baseboards already, but a team of 3 men were able to install beautiful hardwood floors, baseboards and shoe mouldings in a 13' x 17' room in a little over three hours. The floors are beautiful!! There is literally a seamless transition from the existing flooring in to the bedroom's new flooring. Most importantly, it's the little things in life that really sell me, when the team left, they had cleaned and tidied up their area (especially where they were sawing floor boards) and left the place better than they found it. Based on reviews, I hired (Oct 2019) Forte to install a very intricate kitchen backsplash and four simple shelves. They did a great job on the tile installation; however, the shelves were not installed properly as they were not flush with the wall. While the shelves were more decorative than functional, they are designed to hold 30 lbs. I provided Forte the shelves prior to installation and paid separately for installation. I went on travel and they installed the shelves. While my husband was home and they told him they couldn't do any better, my husband was like okay, but she won't be happy. Since I hired and paid Forte, not my husband, I considered the job open until I provided my acceptance. When I returned home to see the shelves were not level, I asked Forte to return to fix them but they stated that because the shelves were not designed for holding things and that was the best they could do. Placing items on the shelves had nothing to do with the shelves being installed properly. Rather than waste my time on such a simple issue, I just called my handy man and he fixed the problem in 15 mins! I was disappointed in Forte's unwillingness to fix such a simple issue, hence the 3 star rather than 4 star. Because I believe in doing the right thing, particularly when its a simple fix, I won't be using them for any of my other home improvement projects. read more
