We discussed my home needs (install hardwood floors) and set a date and time for Mr. Wilson to come by for estimate. He seemed friendly enough. He said he would call when he was on his way to our home. Husband left work early to be available for the meeting. When we didn't receive a call and the scheduled time had passed, I left a voicemail for Mr. Wilson asking if we were still on schedule. I received a fairly quick call back. Mr. Wilson literally acted like he had no idea who I was and stated that he receives a lot of phone calls. He asked my last name and our address and he still seemed perplexed. He inquired if we were available the following day. Since he had yet to even apologize and I didn't appreciate his lack of organization, I simply told him, nope, thank you, have a good day and ended our call. If he had apologized on the call, asked if he could come by immediately or even called or emailed us back after that call, this might have been a different review. I am still simply amazed that it is nearly impossible to find contractors that can communicate and show up. I seriously need new floors and some bathrooms remodeled in our house.
