As an example I will use la Gloria Cubana Series R # 7. This is my personal favorite. Most cigar stores charge up to $12.99 a stick. This store carries them at $8.99 a stick. If you buy them online in a box you can get that down to around $7, but you must pay shipping. So their pricing is good if you need a couple of cigars for golfing , card game or party. This is a friendly store and they also carry lighters, fuel and cigarettes. The store is several blocks west of York road on Irving Park road in Bensenville. Give them a try, you will be glad you did!

It's also easy to get into and out of and inside is not cramped. As you can see from some of the pictures I added, prices are good. There is also a wide variety of products there. Some a bit out of place like knives in a display case...? But tons of small cool things so no complaints there. Now...the bad: the service there was just bad! I walked in and as I walked around, I had someone hovering around me. I don't think I give the idea that I'm going to rob something but I find this so annoying (and not the hovering around like a salesman at a used car dealer). I asked a question to the clerk behind the register and he had no idea what I was talking about, I was looking for supplies for my humidor. He was on the phone the whole time he rang me up and seemed really annoyed that I had to speak to him as he was on the phone speaking another language. He obviously didn't care because when I spoke the person on the line (yes, he had it on speaker). Said something like huh? So I got a better response from that person than the clerk! I think they know they're gonna get tons of customers so who cares about the service, people come here for the prices! I'll give it another chance but with service like this, I'll go to one of the other 5 locations across or down the street.

I called this company this afternoon and was greeted by a very…read moreunprofessional and sarcastic woman. I inquired of them holding many pall mall cigarette cartons for me to pick up and pay for tomorrow. She said the most they can hold is 4 and that they have to reserve a supply available for local regular customers as opposed to myself. I told her I'm from Des Plaines and other cigarette dealers had no problem in filling and holding regular large orders for me to pick up despite where I am from. She also hurried me off the phone saying she was very busy and would not give me a cost total for the 4 cartons. She said goodbye while I was still talking and hung up on me! I called back later and spoke to a man I believe was the owner. He was very unreceptive toward holding the 4 cartons for me saying he would sell them to other people who came in before me. I told him I would be there between 12 and 1 PM tomorrow which he implied would be too late to hold them. I cannot believe the antagonism I received from both people I spoke to who, for some reason, acted non receptive in my doing business with them just because I am not local or a regular customer. They did not realize that if I make large orders with them on a regular basis would be good business for them economically. Such coldness and unprofessionalism I will not tolerate.

I drove all the way up there and it was a little after eight and the place was closed. So I went back up there this morning and talk to the guy at the counter. He was on the phone the whole time. I asked him about the hour change and he said that's not my job. When I said I came up after eight and the place was closed he said I don't care. I thought that was a little rude. I am a shop here again because they're close. But that is just exceptionally poor customer service. I should give them one star.

They have everything you can possibly think of. There's a lot of stuff that most people wouldn't buy but it's still very interesting and very cool to look at. One thing to add which dictates the whole experience is that the owner is a pervert and very unprofessional. He doesn't seem to know what he's really talking about when it comes to questions about some of the things that he carries in the store and he tries to lie to just make the sale. I understand that he has to make money but if you're going to be selling a product then take the time to learn about it or at least the basics about it. He's a very pushy guy and also seems rude and that's the kind of place that shouldn't get my hard earned money.
