Ok, I was struggling on whether to give this place 2 or 3 stars. They definitely deserve a good score for selection hands down, they have everything you could imagine. Their prices are fairly good, but you know you can always find certain things cheaper online of course. The displays where on par with a local kind of business such as this and prices were clearly displayed. Long story short I felt rushed and unwanted and didn't get to see exactly what they offered. Long version: But getting down to the nitty gritty, I had a horrible customer service experiance here. The guy that was attending was a balding guy with a bill cosby-like sweater. When I walked in, he was helping out these two young girls who were just goggling some cheaper pipes, they eventually left and it was just me and him in the shop. He said hello to me ofcourse and asked what I was looking for, I responded that I wanted to browse a little first.(I came in for specifically a grinder and a one hitter but I wanted to check out the store because everything was so pretty). So anyways I'm looking at the stuff in the case and I could just feel his eyes burning a hole through me, had to be at most 15 sec since the first time he asks and he says what can I help you with, so I'm there next to the grinder so I say whatever let me look these 2 silver ones over here. One was bigger than the other but the more expensive one was larger than the other, so I ask to see both out the glass and the guy says "one is bigger..." in a tone that says he really means "hurry and pick one and get out of my store" SO with his excellent selling skills I pick the cheapest one naturally. Then I say "I'll take it but I wanna look at some stuff over here." (meaning give me some space) Again, I know what I want but I wanna survey what they have maybe for future purchases, right? So anyway literally 5 seconds later the guy comes up again and says "what do you want?" So I say screw it and point out the one hitter I wanted and went to my for my stuff. I don't know if you guys get what I'm talking about but I just know he didn't want me there for whatever reason... hmmmm I wonder why??? Just thinking about it pushes me to the 2 star rating. I'm pretty sad this is not a 5-star place on Yelp! I used to live in this area and despite their being a closer store to my apartment, I'd walk extra just to go here. The people have always been nice to me and are very helpful with selection and explaining how things work. The last thing you need is going into a store and feeling like someone's judging you, come on. You're a paying customer. I ALWAYS felt like I was being respected in this store and that it was a safe, clean, legitimate place. Additionally, everything that I have bought from this store has always worked very well, and when I needed replacements when I broke things I was able to acquire the replacement parts easy and hassle-free. If I still lived around here I'd still walk the extra blocks. I miss seeing these people! They were always so nice to me. This was my Cheers for awhile! Where everybody knew my name! ;) read more

Mmmhmm, definitely my favorite head shop. Huge, huge selection, from adorable and cheap one hitters, pretty steamrollers, chubby bongs, to fancy, expensive, melt your face tools. If you can smoke out of it, they probably have it. There's almost always some sort of sale, usually buy one get one 1/2 off, which is nice if multiple are in need of some trinkets. Staff has always been great to me. They let you take your time while you ooh and ahh over fifteen different pieces, and are usually down for some negotiation if one is a touch out of your price range. Extra points for carrying Marshall McGearty cigs (Earl Grey is delish!), clear papers, and $15 grinders. If you're in the market for a new smoking apparatus, make sure you check this place out. read more

I had a SHITTY experience. I wanted to just buy something for $5 and the woman told me it was $10 minimum. That's fine I guess. I found some more stuff and started to charge it. Then, she took the next customer while my card was going through (so I was still right in front of her waiting to sign) and he had a $6 purchase and said...IN FRONT OF ME...."Next time it's a $10 minimum for you" to the guy. That's bull shit. And that's the kind of sneaky, shitty customer service that will make me never go back to a business. YEUP. Out of the four places on the same street that we bopped into, this places was the cheapest and had the widest selection of all sorts of pipes. The man in there was extremely friendly and upon telling him that we were going to look around, he immediately lowered the price. The price was already perfectly acceptable, we genuinely wanted to look around (this was the first place we stopped into). We told him we would come back because we fell in love with a piece...and we did! He was so excited, lowered the price 10 bucks and had set aside the slide that we had picked out initially. He also gave us two free lighters. Unfortunately, the glass wasn't the strongest and it actually ended up breaking days later. We fell in love with this piece and it cracked in half while trying to weasel out the internal slide. It was unfortunate because it was such a great little guy, but it was quite flimsy, I knew it was bound to happen. $90 for piece including, glass on glass, percolator, and ice holder. Definitely ideal for the price. Even if it was only used for 5 days :( Great selection, friendly staff, willing to bargain. read more

Worst vape shop in Chicago, unless you want to be ripped off DO NOT come here. Was going to buy an aspire cf sub ohm battery and the dude tried to sell it to me for $100 and then $75, saying he's been telling the owner many times that those batteries sell for $25 on aspire website. Then saying I'm just the messenger. DO NOT come here!!!!!! Update: Talked to the owner and he was unfriendly and unprofessional. He tried to sell it to me for $50 and told me if I can find it for that cheap on the aspire website or Amazon, then go ahead at buy it there. He also told me it's priced at that for overhead and shipping. Which doesn't make sense because I can see charging a $5 overhead, but not twice as much as what the product is even worth. I could buy the same thing brand new unopened on Amazon for $25 with free shipping. Everything in that store is overpriced and you can find 90% of everything in there for half the price or even triple that on Amazon. First time to a head shop and I was glad I chose this place. They have a huge selection of pipes from the simple to the party-favor type. I also like the selection of incense like Nag Champa. I'm not sure what to say about the customer service. First guy was very friendly and helped me, understanding I wasn't sure what to buy. Unfortunately he answered the phone in his hand and proceeded to speak to his friend for about a minute while I stood there and waited. As Stephanie Tanner would say, "How rude!" Second guy was great. Very helpful and took his time to explain the difference between all the pipes. He did talk me into a second pipe but cut me a deal beyond the discount. Very nice. What a wonderful little head shop! They have a HUGE variety of anything that you could need. The prices are pretty competitive and the employees definitely remember and treat their regulars well. This place has good selection of Kratom and CBD. As much as CBD Kratom on Damen or Clark minus the b---s---. The lady in hijab that works there is not friendly. They have lots of pipes and hookahs so she is definitely middle eastern like Saudi or whatever. But if you need CBD or Kratom, you can get good selection here as much as at CBD Kratom minus all the circus show various names at CBD Kratom. They carry name brand Kratom not raw powder like CBD Kratom which by the way is not that great. I'll take the big name brands over the hit or miss raw powder with variety of names.
