These men were at our house in the cold of winter including one day which was below freezing. By laying plastic down on our floors, they were able to keep the dirt out and one day they literally had to heat up the rock before putting it down because it was that cold out. They did this to meet a deadline to us and we really appreciated them. They are the epitome of what customer service should be. We've had big rains since then, so we are confident that our complete needs were met. I have highly recommended them to friends. So far two friends have also used them and are as happy with their work and work ethic as we are. I will continue to recommend them to anybody who has waterproofing needs. Once she knew my interest was legit, she grabbed her quote form and asked me questions and provided a rough based quote on information I provided. Little did I know she was the owner. She bought the business 3 years prior. I was already impressed but knowing this was a female owned company held a high amount of influence for me, in my head. They came out and measured, they were here when they were supposed to be. They installed the granite when they told me and their installers worked hard, and fast yet took the time to answer questions as they were installing it. Overall I would highly recommend Angela and her team at Pure as they were top notch for my counters.

Poor installation job. Pure Granite buys slabs from the local granite wholesalers, marks up the…read moreprice, and does installation, so their only value add is installation. My usual fabricator was booked two months out so picked Pure Granite in order to get a rehab to market quickly. Project included kitchen, island, full bath and half bath. No complex cuts or edges. When the installation crew arrived, I discovered that most of the installers were recent hires and only one of the installers had any real experience installing granite. By the time that the crew left for the day, the job was only partially completed and in checking what was done, the full bath install was botched... significantly out of level and not flush with cabinets. I had the crew come back and tear out the bath install. This required repairing the drywall. Once the drywall was repaired I rescheduled the installation for the following week. Monday... no call, no show. Rescheduled for following Thursday and called to confirm for the installation to be done in the afternoon. No show. Installer finally called at 6:30PM to say they were running late... rescheduled for the following week. On the final visit, the invoice that was $1000 higher than what was originally quoted, and included additional charges for the visits that were needed to come back and correct their mistakes. The kitchen backsplash install was never completed. Don't confuse the look of the slabs with the quality of the installation. Granite is expensive and while the slabs might look great, a poor quality installation process will destroy your investment.

We actually stayed away a lot. During this major rehab, not only were we not here daily, but we also allowed assistance from Cyndi, Neal's designer, which was a wonderful experience. As far as Cyndi goes, I showed her what I wanted from all of my saved pictures, ideas of my dream kitchen in my head, and then she would go pick multiple items and I would choose from those. She did this with the flooring, counters, backsplash, cabinetry door styles, etc. Many times my vision might not have been her vision, but she went through it with me, listened and we ended up exactly where we wanted to be. I decided I would do the lighting myself because I enjoy that especially. Not only did Cyndi make this big rehab an easy process, but she made it nice for us and she's a pleasure to work with. I would say all of the guys did a really nice job inside, but we would be remiss if we didn't give a special shout out to Troy, who always seemed to go the extra mile and added many special touches all around. His attention to detail and his work is extraordinary. He truly understands it's the devil in the details and it's the little things that mean a lot. We feel the job would not have run nearly as smoothly if it wasn't for his overall managerial skills, his talent as a carpenter and his determination on delivering a superior product. Obviously we also enjoyed Chuck. He would always answer any questions always tried to be helpful, and was very attentive. Like I said, we liked all of the guys on the job, but we want to mention Ajax, who is very talented at his job, a true craftsman and also goes the extra mile. Although the job was finished a few days late and we do feel that could've been avoided, we are still extremely thrilled with the work that Neal's did and the quality of trades that they hired. They are worth the money. I think the most important question to ask whenever you do anything is, would you use them again? That's certainly a tell all. Absolutely yes, we would use Neal's again.

I wanted to take a moment to highly recommend Donald and his team. Some back story...i had a roof…read moreleak that affected my front porch 'ceiling'. There was a large hole that had been patched really crappy by a shoddy roofer...and they never came back. Sigh. So forward a year later and the roof had been fixed. But the porch ceiling repair needed to be done by a 'general handyman'. My goals were that i wanted the ceiling repair to look much better, for a 'scallop' texture to be matched (later learned it was plaster due to my house being built in 1960), and for the whole porch ceiling to be painted from white to a deep twilight blue. Donald and team came out and supplied an estimate that was very reasonable for the detailed work i wanted done and they felt they could knock it out in about a day. They began work and called me to inform me the roof leak was still not fixed. They could see water that had been leaking once they opened up the ceiling, and recommended that i go back to my roofer to readdress the issues. Now, this is what i love. Donald could have just done the repair, collected the money, and ran. I truly would not have known the roof was still leaking...until the ceiling collapsed again (which is how i originally learned i had a problem!). But you know what? HE DID NOT DO THAT! Talk about a man of integrity! And you know how hard that is to find these days? Especially for a 'cheap' project. Roofer came back. Fixed the problem (yes...again LOL). And then Donald followed up with the patch, scallop pattern, and paint job. Once finished, i am BEYOND pleased. I love the color. I love that the scallop pattern matches. (As a graphic designer, i am ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS. I notice.) I tipped all 3 workers (tip your people, folks!). Gave them an iced fruit bar on a hot day. Shared some laughs. Thanked them, deeply. Told them i would write a mindful review but they'd better move me to the top of the list when i hire them for any of the myriad of house maintenance projects that i KNOW will come up in the future and they will be busy!
