John picked up the phone and listened to a last minute request, helped me to troubleshoot and was able to create a beautiful arrangement in the perfect hour. Thank you and will definitely use again. He is communicative and responsive. I also liked that he was clear on what they could not or would be a challenge. He set my expectations and greatly exceeded them. So professional and incredibly wonderful eye in his arrangement! read more

Twelve - Jewelry Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Very cool little flower shop and boutique store. The flower shop part is actually concealed a bit and it does not at all look like your typical flower shop. - UNIQUE flowers throughout the bouquet, from Japanese cherry blossoms to black lilies to flowers that I can't even name, it was filled with lots of interesting varieties - CREATIVE combination that went really well together. It's not the kind of spot where you can pick out the bouquet, you tell them what you want to spend and they make it for you. - CLEARLY AN ALTERNATIVE spot to get a highly commercialized item such as flowers. The staff was very casual about it. I do wish there was a little bit more guidance to the customer and ability to select things. I trusted the employee putting together the bouquet and we loved the end result, but showing some the sample flowers they have and having the customer provide a little more direction as to what they want would have been nice. I wasn't even allowed into the area where their flowers are. read more

Twelve - $60 bouquet. - Jewelry Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

This is still my "go-to" place whenever I want to give someone flowers. The arrangements are always unique and usually made up of something I've never seen (or rarely see). Which is another reason I appreciate coming here... I would NEVER have thought to pick any of these flowers on their own, much less make an arrangement, and they do it each time. Believe it or not, I don't think I'd call this a flower shop. Now that I'm more familiar with this store it's more of an eclectic housewears/accessories/gift shop that also makes floral arrangements. Keep that in mind when the two dogs start running around your heels because if you think you're at a Carither's-type florist you'll be upset (in a Betty Buckhead "shake my head" way). Regardless, they're still nice, helpful, affordable, and I always leave happy. read more

I could've sworn there was a Christmas tree lot on Peachtree and 12th, but I was mistaken. Forlorn for a fresh wreath to bedeck my door, Twelve popped in to my mind and I made my way over to 10th and Piedmont. While they didn't have the fresh Fraser fir or Blue spruce wreath I had in mind, they did have the most gorgeous laquered magnolia wreaths I had ever seen. Some were painted (red or white) while other were left in their natural green and brown state. Despite the somewhat hefty price tag, I was smitten. Service was friendly and oh-so helpful, providing suggestions on how I could enhance my new wreath and decorate my apartment as a whole. The kind saleswoman even told me to look within what I already had to decorate rather than buying something new from them, and THAT I appreciate. Twelve is a gorgeous store, no doubt about it. While I didn't get a chance to hover over every piece in their space, I will definitely return to do just that. And despite their relatively small digs, it may take an hour or two to fully examine everything. read more

I went here looking for a unique gift for my girlfriend based on some suggestions from fellow yelpers and the exceeded my every expectation. They do have some flowers available for sale, but now are more focused on unique handmade gifts from local artisans. A lot of similar stores buy the same sorts of things, but I had never seem about 95% of the items in this store. They have everything from beautiful candle holders, great glassware, and and interesting selection of jewelry. They even have some funny cards that I haven't seen anywhere else. The owner, Sandra I believe, showed me some items in my budget and wrapped the item I got very exquisitely. If you're in the need for some great decor pieces, or a cool and unique gift, definitely check this place out. read more

Great, semi-hidden spot for gifts and decor. They've got a little bit of everything from art, clothes, candles, cards, lamps, glassware....you get the idea. There's a good range of prices for most types of items in stock here. It makes it very easy to shop and find something for the appropriate level of gift you want to give. Or in a better case how much you feel like spending on yourself. read more

This the first time i have ever posted a review on Yelp. I am taking the time because of how they ripped us off. We bought a lovely candle there because of the incentive that we could bring it back to be refilled at no charge. A year later I brought the candle back and they refilled it and asked for $25.95. I reminded them if their offer and they rudely refused. Buyer beware. read more

I love this little floral boutique. They sale fresh flowers and other novelty items; all seemed to be hand selected to especially fit the vibe of this small florist. I had the opportunity to have my bridal bouquet designed at Twelve. It consisted of the most gorgeous calla lilies! White callas and Picasso callas (white with deep purple throats). My bouquet was wrapped in pearls; very very pretty. I've also purchased the longest lasting Gerber daisies and hydrangeas. You should definitely stop by Twelve. They have reserved parking up front so you don't have to worry about parking in the not-so-friendly-for-parking area of 10th and Piedmont. read more

Twelve - Bridal Bouquet in Wedding Photo - Jewelry Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Whenever anyone gets a floral arrangement from Twelve, jaws drop left and right. Everything is always beautiful, unique and looks like a work of art. I had only used them for work, so wasn't sure if they would be too expensive for the small flower budget I had for my wedding reception. Or I thought for sure I wouldn't be able to get much for my money, but I couldn't have been more wrong. I have no doubt that they have tons of clients with deep pockets, but they didn't even flinch at my meager budget and are going to give me what I feel is a lot of bang for my buck. Twelve's floral services are undeniably superior. I have seen much of their work, and their arrangements are never understated or weak. Always attention getting and impactful! read more

I received a call at my work from a lady who works there, at 10 a.m. on a Monday. She wanted to know the name of my company so that she could "have something delivered" to me that day. Well I put two and two together and figured that my boyfriend had tried to surprise me by ordering flowers (which he would have totally surprised me if this lady hadn't called). I dont understand why she couldn't have just called HIM and asked him the name of my company...instead of ruining the surprise. I also dont get why they couldnt' just use the address by itself without knowing the name of my company ( we are a small building and dont share with any other businesses). Then she had the nerve to tell me to "act surprised" when they arrived. Well...they didn't arrive until my workday was practically over at 4 pm. It took them 6 hours to deliver these flowers that I knew were coming, and Twelve is literally just 3 blocks down the street from my office. I had to call around 2:30 just to check and see if they got lost or see if something was wrong, and another guy answered the phone (with somewhat of an attitude) telling me that they would be there within the hour. The customer service here is just horrible! On a brighter note, the flowers were in fact beautiful and I thanked my boyfriend for his lovely gift. I did not, however, tell him that they ruined the surprise and that I was practically tracking them down all day! I didn't want him to get upset. I would recommend another florist, I've definitely experienced WAY better service. read more

So, I won't lie.... not all flower arrangements impress me. I have seen a lot . Well, my sister had flowers from her delivered to my office for my 30th birthday (thanks Jess!), and the arrangement was so unique and gorgeous! It did look a little like a centerpiece for maybe a luncheon or some type of social event, but it included so many different types of flowers, including tulips, which are not in season here, but are my favorite! I will definitely recommend them to others! read more

I bought a few items here... I was there with a friend a few days earlier and met John... when I called back he remembered us and what we were looking at. He set it aside for me... Nice. I picked up the items and had them gift wrapped. The gift wrapping was unbelievably nice. They were working diligently to get some centerpieces ready for a wedding and those were amazing. If I have an event or really need a 'special' arrangement, I WILL go here... Thanks for everything. read more

Twelve is one of Atlanta's great finds: a boutique curiosity shop of high fashion, esoteric jewelry, avant garde ID, and kick-ass floristry. Maximizing the confines of a cozy Midtown space, owner John McDonald curates a collection of gorgeous ready-to-wear, home, and gift fashions (and floral arrangements) sourced from local and international artisans. Whenever I need (um, want) to deliver a crazily romantic and cool gift, this is where I go. This store has remarkably beautiful and practical wares from real artists and designers at very fair prices. read more

I live in the neighbor and walk to Twelve almost every other week to pick up flowers and greenery to brighten up my condo. Twelve has a great selection and their presentation is superb. As I walk home with my flowers, each passerby can't resist oohing and awing at my flowers and greenery. The jewelry they sell is a one of the best kept secrets. read more

NPWH = Nice People Work Here (Tuesday must be their day off, because they were not working when I stopped in) Horrid customer service skills. After reading other good reviews on this florist I stopped in the afternoon to pick up an arrangement for my boutique, after walking in I received a half-hearted greeting. That should have been my clue to turn around and leave. It is a very nice shop, however for me customer service leads me to part with my funds everything else is secondary. After finding a vase that was perfect for my shop, I pull a couple of paint samples out of my handbag & start thumbing thru pics on my phone searching for pics of my boutique just to double check if the vase would work in my space. The guy that works there walks over to let me know "No Photos are allowed in the shop". That is great to know if I were taking a photo, however it was pretty obvious I was looking photos. You work with the public it is not what you say but how you say it. I opted to leave and find another florist. Just to recap lovely shop, however the customer service is HORRID! FYI, having a Yelp sticker can be a reminder to give bad reviews as well as good ones. read more

So dissappointed in Twelve. I have used them a few times and have had a pretty good experience so with Valentine's Day, I went with them. What a mistake, placed my order, called to confirm, told them what time the office that was being delivered to was closing (3:00pm) and confirmed that detail the day prior. It is now 6:20pm on Valentine's Day and I just got a call from the delivery driver who is attempting to drop off the flowers now. I did not pay $100 dollars for this type of service and will never make that mistake again. When I called to check on my order the girl could not help me, nor remedy the situation, all she could do was apologize. I appreciate the sentiments but a refund would have seemed appropriate to me. Waiting on the owner to call back after closing, we shall see what the verdict is. read more

Very disappoint, I have never seen an arrangement made so badly, it was for a funeral am I felt embarrassed taking it as it was so bad. Overpriced, and with very little effort put into the arrangement I had. read more

When I called to order the arrangement they asked what I had in mind. I told the person that I wanted the arrangement to have tropical/bright colors - that I didn't care what kind of flowers. The arrangement that they delivered looked like it was for Fall - no bright colors at all. The quality was nice but not what I asked for. ALSO, they did not run my credit card right away. When they did run the card it so happened that I had lost that card and it had been canceled. I assumed that the arrangement had already gone through so I didn't call. The store called me on Monday and the woman was very unfriendly and had an attitude. I immediately gave her another credit card which went through fine. She never asked me if I liked the arrangement or even thanked me. VERY RUDE. They didn't create what I asked and they were rude. I won't use them again. read more

Stopped in to get a bouquet for my hardworking wife after catching a World Cup game at nearby Taco Mac. Wandered the pleasant shop a bit as John created a beautiful bouquet for her. Lots of unique handcrafted artwork and home accessories in a good location - and great flower arrangements as well. My wife was thrilled with the beautiful arrangement and vase of flowers. Will definitely stop by again when I'm in Virginia Highlands. read more

Sadly, my experience in trying to order through John at Twelve was less than comforting. I am glad I didn't lose any money by placing an order with John. His treatment of me as a new client has been shocking. Highly unprofessional, rude and actually stalking me with repeated unwanted phone calls and then insulting me and calling me not a real person, when I asked for a price list! I am so glad I never ordered from John. I have chosen to take time out of my busy schedule to write this review and ensure that others know how poorly new customers are treated, and how off-putting all of this has been to my day. I had been so excited to do something special for someone else and provide a gift like this. I am sure there are other shops in the area who would welcome the business. If TWELVE treats all new clients this way, I can't imagine how they get in any new business. read more

John did such a beautiful job on the flowers that my daughter from Baton Rouge sent for my birthday and an amazing job when she also sent my son's girlfriend a bouquet for a stay in Piedmont Hospital she had recently. Such beautiful concepts. Each individual flower is unique and clearly chosen with love--always seasonally appropriate. So fresh, they stay for two weeks and I'm not exaggerating. Beautiful job and in both cases, John filled my daughter's order the same day. I would so recommend Twekve even if you don't live in Midtown or Virginia Highland. John at Twelve is an artist! read more

Excellent place with great service and creative, fun design -- and arrangements that don't break the bank. I use TWELVE for special occasions (Valentine's, particularly significant accomplishments, etc.) and have never been disappointed. Just over priced, don't get me wrong they have a decent selection, just can't get past the attitude. But beware.....if they see you walk next door to another business that precious car of your's will be gone in no time. I contacted TWELVE about one year ago to send my best friend a lovely flower arrangement for her birthday. After noting which flowers i would like to include and that I trusted their creative judgment (based on the website photos), they delivered a truly hideous arrangement of baby pink and lavender flowers (when we had discussed deep pinks and fuschias). After contacting them letting them know I was disappointed, I received no communication despite several follow-ups. I am less than impressed with their abilities as well as their customer service. They were, however, very prompt in delivery. read more

Attitude... I've used TWELVE many times over the last 10 years and been happy with the arrangements but I believe the owner's gotten too big for his britch's. I left him a personal message to call me because I wanted something special for my anniversary. I was told he'd be in around 1:00. O.k. he finally calls me back around 5:00. I told him I'd used some one else he said "Seriously, Why can't you just put your order in when you call, that's what I pay people for". He does make beautiful arrangements but sorry there are too many other florist's in town that will not give you attitude, or act like they're doing you a favor, especially when you are (were) a regular customer. I have several friends who have stopped using him to the same reason. Also, the other florist I used made the best arrangement I've ever had and delivered it in an hour and a half. Twelve should actually be called TWO, for 2 stars. read more

Ordered a corsage for my son for a PDC event on Friday for Sunday pick up at noon. Not surprisingly it was not ready and the person working could not get the florist owner to call back. Since we were them late for another function my wife agreed to wait while the person made his first corsage (after searching the Internet for how to make one). While it was adequate (and given that it is impossible to find a replacement on a Sunday) we took what we could get. Of course it made us late for another function. At least the corsage had a ribbon so she could tie it. Basically, thanks for not caring. One star is being generous but Yelp apparently doesn't like no stars. read more

I have never written a Yelp review before. But, I feel compelled to warn people not to use this place. I special ordered a particular bouquet for a wedding anniversary four days in advance. The day before I was to pick it up, I called to confirm it would be ready at 10:00 a.m. as I had a narrow window in which to pick it up. (Delivery was not an option, as I had explained to them in advance.). When I arrived at 11:15, they had not even begun making it. No excuse. Just "we didn't do it. Our flower guy doesn't get in until 11:30." Totally ruined my plans. Stay away. These people just don't care. There are many other good florists in town. read more

John did the flowers for our wedding. He did an amazing job and stayed within our budget. The flower arrangements, bouquet, lanterns, and screen were perfect. Modern, colorful, and beautiful.
