So friendly. I loved their brand selection for my 7 month old baby! I will be back! It's a gorgeous new part of town.

Located in a very safe part of town, in a very easy to access location in the Azalea Square…read moreshopping center, Kohls is there to service almost all of your clothing needs, along with other offerings that one might need for the house. I've walked through the all sections and observed the place is very clean and sterile, a much-appreciated attention to detail aspect. That said I didn't see many employees walking around so if you have questions, you'll have to be proactive and hunt them down for yourself. The floorplan is exactly like every other Kohl's so the customer should have no issues getting around. Small stuff first. The kitchen section has a few nicer items but is marked up a lot from a regular experience, sometimes by a lot. So if you want Bobby Flay's pan set, break out the plastic baby it's gonna cost ya! Next the bedroom supplies aren't marked up that much and should have something to satisfy most people. For instance they have pillows, not specialized items but a sizable list of generic ones (could be name brand but I'm not a pillow expert). The kids might be a little sour on the toy section. It's not very big. I can't speak on the womens section. Oh wait, I did have to buy some tights for running a half marathon and since it's done at the end of winter they're readily available. The only pair I could find were womans yoga pants. That's right, I ran a half marathon with 30k other people in womens yoga pants (relax I had shorts on over them). Anyways the point is they do have something for everyone. As for the mens section it's decent. The available styles are extremely generic, lacking anything trendy. It's like dating the guy or girl which dress ok but have no knowledge of what's in fashion NOW. Their sports apparel section in terms of clothing for exercise is very good, but unless you have a local team, it's for the masses. So what do I buy here? Dress pants, dress shirts, dress belts and the occasional "Kramer" shirt. But if you're debating socks, underwear, tshits and so on, you're better off choosing that big red or blue store. As for their shoes, they do have a decent collection but void of top performance or style shoes. Overall, Kohl's is very middle America in terms of financial tier, the mentality and corporate targeting. Shopping here isn't as cheap as those big box places however it's not as expensive as those NY style department stores. This particular Kohls is safe with good employees and a lot of decent, albeit dated products. Stop on buy if you're buying a little something for yourself or family and want to save a buck while not looking completely out of touch.

I've given up tho' ... they cater to the larger lady sizes....just not the store for me! Need to find a new buyer!

Shopping at TJ Maxx is a totally different experience--it feels like a hidden boutique tucked…read moreinside the store, with elevated finds at discounted prices. It's definitely a treasure hunt, and honestly, I never leave empty-handed. Every trip, I walk out with a full buggy. In the jewelry section, I found a beautiful necklace and bracelet set for my husband, plus a box of six pairs of small hoop earrings for myself. From there, we moved to bath and body--where I stocked up on everything from vanilla-scented shimmering body oil to goat milk & honey lotion, bergamot & hinoki body wash, and turmeric brown sugar exfoliating wash (plus a few extras I couldn't pass up). The candle section did not disappoint either--men's DW candles, Dayroom candles, #96 heavily fragranced options, and my favorite DW pink rose scents. I also came across crystal bookends, Citrine spheres, and white quartz geodes, along with four posing Buddha statues that are perfect for my bathroom. And I still wasn't done. My grandson found a toy archery set, and I picked up two outfits for his little sisters. One little dress came with a hat and the other with sunglasses. The pet section was packed with toys, accessories, and high-end shampoos and conditioners you'd usually only find in boutiques--I grabbed a few squeaky toys and an oatmeal shampoo for my itchy pup. Of course, we ended at what I call "the trap"--the checkout line surrounded by snacks, gummy vitamins, jelly beans, greeting cards, and novelty mugs. It gets you every Single time. Overall, the store feels organized and thoughtfully curated, which makes the entire shopping experience easy, fun, and hard to walk away from without a great find. If you love name brand fashion and don't mind digging a little, TJMaxx in Azalea Square Summerville is absolutely worth checking out. 5/5 prices 5/5 Organized 5/5 well lit and inviting 5/5 one of a kind items 5/5 friendly service 5/5 Handicapped parking

It was very busy inside and they only had 3 registers open. It took about 15 minutes to get through the line when checking out. It was obvious that they were understaffed. It is not a bad place to shop but the checkout times need to be faster.
