I went with her to the new location last weekend to purchase a gift for a friend. I was so pleased with the selections of clothing as well as other baby items. Service is top notch; the owner knows her customer's names and situations and is able to pick out perfect gifts. What's great is that she will wrap them for you as well, with beautiful wrapping. The prices are reasonable and comparable to other boutiques in the region. Strongly, strongly recommend this shop for any baby shopping needs!

The employee at the front wasn't super knowledgeable about the products, but she made a real effort to look things up and help us the best she could, which we appreciated. What really stood out were the toys--so many unique and high-quality options, especially the wooden ones (which we love!). My son picked out a toy, and there were so many others we'll definitely come back for. The store also carries a great variety of baby and children's clothes, all thoughtfully curated. Bonus: parking was super easy, which made the whole visit even better. A sweet little spot worth checking out, especially for gifts or unique finds!

We just finished lunch across the street and decided to check it out. In past experiences, these boutique stores I find are often wildly expensive and only good for the special occasion outfit, but I was surprised at Sweet Peas. Not only did they have multiple racks of 40% off items from last season, their full price items were not outrageously priced. It's still a curated boutique and the prices reflect that, but I felt it was very reasonable. The owner of the store started it because she has two granddaughters and she was very helpful while we browsed the racks. I was buying for my friends 9 month old and we left with an outfit, a pair of flared leggings, and a silicone sippy cup from a North Carolina based company that the mom (and baby) loved.

We than picked out a dresser for our Master bedroom and a console for our family room. We were led outside to another location that had dining tables. We saw one we wanted but not the right size so we ordered the table and four chairs and two chairs they had we got. So it was a love fest while checking out we got octopus decorative bookends and two glass octopus as well. The bad news minus a star they don't deliver. However they do assist in finding someone who will do it at an additional cost$$$$$$. Several months later the same delivery person delivered the table and four chairs. Very happy with our purchase as well as design advice. Would highly recommend to anyone shopping for furniture.

When I first moved to Mount Pleasant 5 years ago, Abide A While was the first nursery that I went to. As soon as I walked in the annual section, I was met with the warmest smile by an older lady that instantly made me feel at home. I forgot her name, but after talking for a while she had mentioned she was with the company for about 40 years! Being as happy as she was with the same company for that long is definitely is a statement in itself! Unfortunately she retired not too long ago, but now I've met so many other friendly and knowledgeable people at Abide A While. Bruce and J.D.(?) are my go-tos. As for the layout, I like it a lot. Pretty much all the annuals are to the right. Houseplants are on the left, inside with the household items. (All of the household items are beautifully displayed and consist of great quality). Outside, towards the rear of the building are the perennials, trees, and some tropical plants. One of the most important things about Abide A While is every plant is labeled and the majority have full descriptions! If the description is not on the pot, it'll be on a nearby post or printed out on a card. There's nothing more that I hate than to have to do full research on the spot for a plant that catches my eye. So kudos to them for providing that information. I'll end with saying Abide A While is just beautiful, inside and out. I especially love going there after a stressful day. It's so serene, and even majestic in a way. If you haven't been there before, it's worth going for that reason alone.
