Palmetto Moon is the quintessential southern store! They have a great selection of Carolina and Clemson gear. It's super organized and neat. The store is packed with inventory. They offer a nice selection of merchandise, including clothes, tumblers, planners, car decals, hats, etc. Many of the items would make great gifts! The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a sidewalk sale so you can find plenty of deals.

This Palmetto Moon location at Azalea Square in Summerville is a great place to go for all things South Carolina related gift items. I really like the selection and variety of different things that they have available here and am always able to find something for those on my gift list. I have been happy with all of the purchases that I have made from here.

Located in a very safe part of town, in a very easy to access location in the Azalea Square…read moreshopping center, Kohls is there to service almost all of your clothing needs, along with other offerings that one might need for the house. I've walked through the all sections and observed the place is very clean and sterile, a much-appreciated attention to detail aspect. That said I didn't see many employees walking around so if you have questions, you'll have to be proactive and hunt them down for yourself. The floorplan is exactly like every other Kohl's so the customer should have no issues getting around. Small stuff first. The kitchen section has a few nicer items but is marked up a lot from a regular experience, sometimes by a lot. So if you want Bobby Flay's pan set, break out the plastic baby it's gonna cost ya! Next the bedroom supplies aren't marked up that much and should have something to satisfy most people. For instance they have pillows, not specialized items but a sizable list of generic ones (could be name brand but I'm not a pillow expert). The kids might be a little sour on the toy section. It's not very big. I can't speak on the womens section. Oh wait, I did have to buy some tights for running a half marathon and since it's done at the end of winter they're readily available. The only pair I could find were womans yoga pants. That's right, I ran a half marathon with 30k other people in womens yoga pants (relax I had shorts on over them). Anyways the point is they do have something for everyone. As for the mens section it's decent. The available styles are extremely generic, lacking anything trendy. It's like dating the guy or girl which dress ok but have no knowledge of what's in fashion NOW. Their sports apparel section in terms of clothing for exercise is very good, but unless you have a local team, it's for the masses. So what do I buy here? Dress pants, dress shirts, dress belts and the occasional "Kramer" shirt. But if you're debating socks, underwear, tshits and so on, you're better off choosing that big red or blue store. As for their shoes, they do have a decent collection but void of top performance or style shoes. Overall, Kohl's is very middle America in terms of financial tier, the mentality and corporate targeting. Shopping here isn't as cheap as those big box places however it's not as expensive as those NY style department stores. This particular Kohls is safe with good employees and a lot of decent, albeit dated products. Stop on buy if you're buying a little something for yourself or family and want to save a buck while not looking completely out of touch.

I've given up tho' ... they cater to the larger lady sizes....just not the store for me! Need to find a new buyer!

I had the BEST shopping experience at Gwynn's! I sent Haley Ann a few ideas of my style (since it…read morewas my first time shopping there) and she totally got it! The fitting room was pre-stocked with so many wonderful options, it was hard to choose only 5! Everybody in the store was warm and welcoming, and the store is incredibly well curated. I live 2000 miles away, but will shop here whenever I'm near by and reach out to Haley Ann remotely if I need (or want!) something else.

I was immediately drawn to this store with the most regal window displays. Both the clothing and…read morethe decor were so high end, I was worried I would feel out of place with my Lilly Pulitzer activewear. However, our group was warmly greeted by Marshall and Casey. 2 gems! I truly felt like a queen. Behind one door was a magical, beautiful, magnificent private dressing room. Our personal stylist, Casey, pulled a few items for us and we tried them on in the private room. I settled on this buttery soft house coat that can also be worn as a cardigan. Casey was warm, bubbly and provided us with water and champagne. She couldn't do enough to accommodate our little group! This place and more importantly these people made my heart so happy! If you're in Charleston, you must stop by Gwynn's in Mt. Pleasant! I am so excited to go back for my next purchase. Treat yourself to a lavish item from this store at least once annually! All of us hardworking individuals deserve such luxury. Thank you again Marshall and Casey for your world class service and kindness!

What I really like about the place, besides low prices are that the people that work there are extremely nice. Not only are they pleasant, but they're more than willing to help you find anything you need. In fact, I had a lady basically drop what she was doing to show me to the belts. Come on, that's customer service!!! That said, the back isles were extremely cramped, products all over the place and lots of bare space. Ross seems to have a lot of resale items, which I'm not sure if that's accurate but that's the vibe I got. What I do like is I found most of what I needed discounted to some level or another. While I'm not a fan of the toy section having items just thrown on the shelves I didn't mind as I enjoyed the hunt. Anyways, I was able to locate a couple toys for my youngest girl. Also considering the diversity of products they have, I was able to get some nicely priced art supplies such as canvases, paint brushes and acrylic paints. Next my oldest is getting close to being on her own so I bought her some cooking supplies. In fact I got her a Cuisinart pot and lid that I currently use at a price that's cheaper than I found at other places! Not only that I got her an 8" chef knife for a cheap price which will serve her well in all her cutting needs as the most versatile knife a cook can have in their kitchen. I debated buying some clothes too however I learned a long time ago getting clothes for a 17 & 14 yr old girls without their input isn't smart therefore I let them do that shopping on their own. As for me personally, I was on the hunt for belts. Of the top I'll admit clothing is EXTREMELY subjective which means I didn't find a brown belt to my liking. Moreover, there selection of clothing wasn't to my taste either. But at least they have a decent selection. Ross is a great place to shop for a plethora of items for relatively cheap all under one roof. Most of the items aren't things a customer would find at say Dollar Tree but things that are of higher quality. I highly recommend dropping by if there's something you need and you want to save a buck or two. Also being able to shop in a clean and secure place with a friendly staff can't be overstated. Stop on by and save!

They have self checkout, but once you make it through that line, you have to get into another line…read moreso they can look at your receipt and remove the security tags. This means that there is no point in self checkout.
