The tub in the master was converted into a walk-in shower. New electrical and ventilation were added. The owner Justin was great to work with, communicated almost daily, and stopped by the house frequently to check on the progress of the work and answer any questions or concerns I had. Selvin the team lead is a true craftsman, knows his stuff, and clearly takes pride in the quality of his work. Others on the team worked equally hard and they have all been with Calabrese for at least 10 years. I was pleased to see the company take their time and do a quality job instead of a rushed one like you often see. They addressed each of my concerns and the results speak for themself. The quality of the selections for flooring, cabinetry, etc were very good. I think they work best with smaller renovations. They also do not do HVAC and so radiator systems and moving radiators need to be monitored. We made the mistake of getting the ceiling paint somewhere else and had to get another gallon to redo it to improve the coverage. Used their online design consultants - free service to pick our paint combinations to go with our new tile back splash - that we got at a great charity store in MD - see my review. We've been using their monthly sales to stock up on primer and paint for the kitchen redo. Lisa has been awesome at both advice and to get us the paint when often the paint has been out - supply chain issues. Can't wait to repaint the kitchen, it's been a 4 year project starting with new appliances (required cutting marble to fit) then progressing to an added back splash, crown molding, pendant lights, and new bead board on the island. All that is left is to repaint which we're going to do in stages.
