I found TV Parts Guy through a Google search while looking for a part for my newly broken TV. The pictures on the website were clear and the information was accurate which gave me confidence I was buying the right part for my TV. They had the parts I needed at a good price. It actually was the lowest price I found outside of scavenging parts on eBay. After I ordered the new board I expected a decent wait. My experiences at other part stores have been that they usually seem to take their time shipping things out, but this place got it out fast. When I say fast I mean it was a few hours after I placed the order that I got a notice my order had been updated as shipped. A few days later I had the part in my hands. Good descriptions, fast shipping and at low prices? That's a win in my book. Have a 32" Sony flat screen, few years old, always been a nice set, was a spendy model back in the day. Had some trouble codes come up. Did a search, found this place. First off, when I called they were very helpful and upfront with the costs and estimate time to repair etc. I was encouraged. So I finally was able to deliver the TV. The place doesn't look like much, but don't let that slow you down. The service right from the second I walked in, until completion was top notch. Communication to me was superb. And painfully upfront with all costs. I thought they were very reasonable. Bottom line, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is in need of repair on a TV. Ordered a t-con board for my tv. It fixed the problem until it failed three days later. I've sent four emails describing what happened and have never received a reply. The part failing isn't the issue it's the lack of response to emails. Update: Still haven't heard from them. I determined that the power board was the root cause of the problems. After replaceing that and sourcing another t-con board the tv is up and running. read more

I gave them an RMA for the dead part. All I can say is they shipped a replacement right away (so I'll give them 2 stars) but the replacement part was also dead. I know it's the part and not me since the part I am replacing "mostly works" (one input was broken) and when I put it back in the tv works as it did before, but it won't even turn on with the parts they sent me. I will RMA the second part and see if I can get a third, but I am suspecting they got their parts inventory for this TV from some flooded stock. read more

I ordered a main board from them and the first one they sent was defective. At the time it seemed like a good company and they promptly sent me another board. Unfortunately, it was the wrong part for my TV. We exchanged emails and then the seller quit replying to my emails. I sent him back the board that was the wrong part and have emailed him several times but I get no response, so I basically spent over $100 with the return shipping and have no product to repair my TV. I wouldn't be writing a bad review, but I don't generally like to give away $100 with no product being sent to me. I would not buy from these people again mostly because of lack of communication. They seemed great at first but not answering repeated emails and not sending a working product sucks. Buyer beware. read more

Wasn't sure if the power supply or main board was the problem for my TV. So bought the power supply board first cause it made sense since the TV wasn't turning on. After talking to one of the techs there it turned out to be the main board even after no standby voltage. So bought the board, installed it and it works like a charm now. Plus they were gracious enough to give me a refund after RMA'ing the power board! Will use them again! My old 52" Samsung LCD's got lines on the screen. read more
