I have visited this location twice now and both times I have never been offered any help / service…read moreand I have left empty handed. The first time I went in looking for ice skates, I tried to flag a staff member for help and was lingering in the skate area for a good 20 mins. It wasn't busy, but I got fed up and just left. Today I went in again looking for shoes expecting the same treatment, but I thought I would give it another shot since it had been a year. I wanted to try on some shoes and went around the mens section eye balling staff as they dashed past but still nothing. It wasn't super busy being a Tuesday afternoon, but again I gave up - this time frustrated! Rather than giving up on Spot Chek altogether as I think it's just this store that has poor customer service, I went to the East Hills location instead. I was helped within 2 minutes and the staff checked on me to see the shoes were fitting right and bring me more options. I spent more than I planned which is good for business right! I want to love the 130th location as it's convenient, but please up your customer service experience.

I've been a loyal customer of "Play it Again, Sports" for almost all my sporting equipment needs,…read moreand I can honestly say it's the only store I trust. The main reason is the amazing staff, especially Zach, one of the managers. Zach is phenomenal--always helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I went in yesterday to buy skates for a Christmas gift and Zach was busy assisting customers, but he directed me to his colleague Dylan, who was equally fantastic. Dylan went above and beyond to locate the exact item I needed at another location since it was out of stock at the store I visited. She called the other store, arranged to hold it for me, and made the entire process seamless. When I arrived at the other store, Reid had the item ready and greeted me warmly. Every single staff member I interacted with at Westhills and Shawnessy were kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to help. It's clear that customer satisfaction is their priority. I highly recommend "Play it Again, Sports" for anyone looking for sporting goods. You'll feel welcomed and well taken care of every time!

I should have noticed the golf bag missing the entire stand and the rusted out rivets at the bottom, returned asap. Was okay with store credit or return but when told the best they could do was store credit, I said they shouldn't sell broken equipment. Retort was that price reflected condition. When i suggested it didn't I was countered again. Left without either telling staff they would need the money when it went bankrupt. Buyer be ware. Was not expecting them to induce a confrontation.

Very poor customer service when they fraudulently advertise one price to get the customer into the store and then don't stand by their own pricing. I do not recommend this store. Terry

I have purchased 2 different sizes of the Bauer 2S Pro in the last year, because I kept having issues with fitment. When I arrived, Cody introduced himself and asked how he can help. I told him about my issues and how I wanted to look at purchasing custom skates. Cody told me to let him have a go at the skates, if he cannot get them to fit, we can order a new set of custom skates. I went back to the store the next day with my Bauer 2S Pro skates and Cody went to work. He identified the root cause of my problem and went to work with the boot stretcher. I was able to test the skates later that evening and what a HUGE difference it was! I still need to see him to make a minor punch, but I can say that my feet wasn't hurting as much as it was before visiting Professional Skate. Prior to this, my feet would hurt so much, I couldn't skate, do crossovers, etc. Highly recommend anybody looking for skates to visit Professional Skate Service! Thanks Cody!!!
