I am attending a wedding in November and planned on just wearing my old prom dress. From the moment I entered the store I was amazed at how beautiful all the gowns were! Yelitza immediately greeted me and went above and beyond helping me find beautiful options to wear. She was so kind and caring and really knew her stuff!!!!!! She assisted me with trying on 4 different dresses and I ended up going with the very first dress I tried on! It's funny because when I walked in the store she happen to have it in her hands putting it away! I instantly said hey that dress is beautiful and it happen to be my size and everything!!!! She even took photos of me in each gown so I could compare and contrast! Yelitza made my shopping experience extremely rewarding and fun! When i expressed this they told me as long as there is a seam they can take it out and it should be fine. It wasnt until august 18th did my dress come in (the wedding was on sept. 4th) i drove down immediately to get alterations done on it, the dress did not fit my hips. When i told them this they lady asked me if i was sure i didnt gain any weight since my try on period. I had just gotten married in july so i knew i couldnt have gained much weight but was still extremely offended. When they realized they couldnt take the seam out as far as it needed they got irritated and told me they would have to add material to the sides. They then told me id have to come back for atleast two more appts i explained that i live 1hr 30minutes away and the wedding was in two weeks, they did not care they told me thats what im going to have to do to get this dress to fit my body shape.. the following appt i went and they did a hem and have to fix the straps as they were too tight. The hem was crooked, when they "fixed" the strap they didnt take into account that my arm would still need to fit into the hole. They told me id have to come back for another appt. for then to fix the straps. I explained i would not have time for that and this needed to be taken care of today so i could take the dress home. The seamstress was very annoyed by this went literally cut the arm pit of the dress and sewed it back together to give it some "wiggle room" returned 10 minutes later and told me they dress will be fine its only for one day. I left with the dress that day. My husband on the other hand rented his clothes. The bride chose the pants and the shirt and we get him sized the same day i picked up my dress. They said everything is good and to pick his things up any time after the 30th of august.. the Monday before the wedding. The bride picked all of the guys clothes up on the same day saving us time to all drive down, the next day all the guys went to try on their clothes.. none of them fit, my husbands shirt did not even button because it was so tight on his chest. The pants were extremely tight on his waist/hips and just fell. They almost looked like a skirt on him. They could not wear these outfits, we took them back the following day explaining they didnt fit and that we were going to have to buy other clothes from somewhere else, they argued and told us they were not refunding us any money because they were already rented. The clothes weren't even worn! After getting screamed at by the owner we told them the review on this place is going to look awful coming for 20+ people all from the same wedding party, thats when their demeanor changed they told us they would refund us 50$ a person, we paid over 200$ for these rentals, now we have to go out and buy new clothes for each person! They are MONEY HUNGRY. We all get the pandemic hit businesses hard but to treat a wedding party like this 2 days before whats supposed to be the best day of their lives.. WOW... i would put 0 stars if i could.

Two days before the wedding, a friend suggested an alternation that would transform it into the perfect gown but I knew it was too late. I called every tailor I knew but no one was willing to help. With 24 hours to go, Abby returned my call. She opened her shop and within an hour, had the alterations done. She could have charged me anything but only charged for the hour's work! I was getting different sizes/colors for my mom and grandmother in the fitting rooms and putting back clothes. I overheard remarks from one of your workers, and her also saying that we were spending so much time in the fitting rooms, were making a huge mess and leaving her to clean it up, and that we would not be able to afford everything we were getting. This was not only hurtful but entirely unfounded, as we were respectful customers and neatly put back everything we tried on. The worker's remarks were overheard by another individual, who said, "I don't care, at least they're spending money." While we appreciate the sentiment of valuing customers, it was disheartening to feel dismissed and devalued in such a manner. As loyal customers, we were taken aback by this behavior and felt deeply disheartened by the lack of professionalism displayed. We believe that every customer should be treated with respect and kindness, regardless of the circumstances. We saw her side eyeing us and looking us up and down as we were being checked out, and she even had the audacity to come over to our cash register to try to hear the total. Thank you to the kind worker who was checking us out, for she realized what was happening and said our total quieter. I also wanted to say that I pay YOUR bills with the money I spend at your store. I bought several dresses online and the one I thought I wanted is beautiful but too long. It is beaded and I was worried it would take more than a week to hem it so I planned on going to a seamstress in Union that I normally use. I planned on taking all of the dresses with me so that I could get her advice on which one was the easiest and cheapest to fix, given my timeline. As I looked for the address of the seamstress I normally use, I found Sandra's name on Google. When I saw her great reviews and her proximity to me, I called her and was immediately impressed. She had me come right over, and we discussed the alterations that would be needed on the dress I thought I preferred. Although she could do the work within a week, she helped me realize it was a better value to wear a different dress that didn't need alterations, which saved me money. She took her time to help me, even thought it didn't result in her providing me an alteration! She helped me in one other way - the dress I will end up wearing is too short for the heels I already have, so I was going to have to buy new shoes. Sandra also carries shoes for sale, much to my surprise. I ended up purchasing a great pair of low-heel sandals for only $99 - much cheaper and much better quality than what I was seeing online. I am really happy to have met Sandra and to have her now as my trusted seamstress. She says she can also alter non-formal wear, so I will be taking my business suits and dresses to her and sending my husband to her as well. Thank you, Sandra!
