The dresses are beautiful and high quality, and also not expensive like a shop in a large city would be. There are also a variety of sizes, so my plus-size self is never wanting for an unavailable style for my size, nor do my twiggy friends have that issue. It's great to know that by shopping here you're supporting local here instead of a big name dress shop where you have no idea where your money goes. Wedding? Gala? Event? Be warned! They will tell you your dress will not ship for two months. When you then try to cancel, they will say Final Sale. When you inform Amex, they will then ship the dress overnight so you have it in your possession. Lovely way to do business. Now stuck with an $800 dress I cannot wear. read more

If I could give this business no stars, I would. The beautiful dog that was there was the only positive experience that we had there. My daughter wanted to see the the Essence of Australia bridal gowns. The young girl that waited on us took my daughter through the racks. My daughter would tell her what dresses she wanted to try on, but the consultant totally ignored her. She had her try on the same styles. We felt like we were inconveniencing her. She looked bored. During the whole appointment she only gave my daughter three gowns to try on. It was not the exciting and positive experience that it should have been. My daughter left sad and defeated. We left to go to our next appointment where the consultants were so helpful and professional. We were so happy to give them our business. read more

The greatest dress destination! Their selection is just large enough not to be overwhelmed but still enough to get a unique selection. We went on a Saturday (March 9th, 2019) to go get a prom dress wasn't too busy and staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I just picked up my dress today and it is absolutely beautiful. Buyer BEWARE! This "boutique" all sales are final no matter the reason. My mother never took the dress from the store, called to cancel the order within 24 hours and the refused to refund her. THE DRESS IS STILL IN THE STORE. The staff will smile you to death to get the sale but once the transaction is complete that is where the customer service ENDS! For such a small looking shop, I was surprised when I went in to see an overwhelming amount of prom dresses. They had newer styles, designer brand dresses, variety of colors, and the probably the largest amount of "plus size" type dresses I've seen in a prom store. Before I came here I went to Prom Excitement expecting to see a million dresses in every size, color, and style, but I was very very disappointed with everything they had. When I left I found that Dress Lounge was close to where I was, so we decided to stop. Like I said I didn't expect much more from such a smaller shop, but it was definitely surprising. There were more dresses in sizes 16+ in this small store than the larger store along with the smaller sizes. Will definitely be back for homecoming and prom. read more

I was so excited for my bridal dress appt. I had champagne/soda in a ice bucket I decorated, chocolate on a gold and silver platter I creatively made look like an engagement ring, handmade flip signs, the works. I put a lot of time and effort into this day. One of the main reasons why is because my future mother in law is sick and is expected not to make it to the wedding next year, I thought this could be a memorable experience to share with her. I explained this when I booked the appt and the lady who booked it was super sweet and understanding. Well, talk about a 180 when the day of my appt arrived. The ladies in the shop were very uncaring about the experience all together. They sternly told me the food/drinks needed to remain in the greeting area, asked 2x where my guests were before my appt time, then proceeded to tell me that they were going to start early anyways becaue shop closed in an hour (which my appt was 1 1/2hrs), asked all the same questions I answered over the phone including my budget in front of my mother. Then later told me my budget didn't match the budget I had previously given. The snide remarks were neverending & my bridesmaid even stuck up for me on one occasion. The worst was when the woman rudely told me that I didn't know what I wanted, I shot back with full ammo because I know what I want they just don't carry it within their limited selection. It's a good thing I'm a strong and outspoken person. I feel sorry for any woman who is not & has to deal with them. They were all business and cared about nothing, but their sale. And became rude and frustrated when they realized I was not going to make a purchase because they did not have what I wanted. read more
