We went to a few places but Giovanni was the winner from the start. First thing first - you have to make an appointment ! Which in a way is great because Giovanni is all ears and you have all his attention. He was polite, patient, very stylish and he knows what he is doing. We had a destination wedding and he just knew a regular black tuxedo wasn't going to be stylish and the groom wasn't going to POP like he should. Giovanni was truly amazing and so helpful. My brother heard about Giovanni through a friend who was also getting his prom tux here. I called for an appointment (thanks to the heads up from the Yelp community) and was squeezed in for the week before prom. To be honest, I was a bit nervous about the timeline but Giovanni assured me that it would work out because he already had everything we may need at the store. Come the day of the appointment, we arrive for the appointment and walk in to the huge selection. My brother was impressed but also overwhelmed since he doesn't know much about tuxedos and what would look good with what. He literally only knew that he wanted something grey. Giovanni eyed him and immediately knew his size and made some recommendations by pointing to the grey suits that were on the mannequins. We chose one and he grabbed my brother's size from the side and I was so impressed that it fit cause Giovanni hadn't even measured him yet. After trying on tux #2, my brother decided that it would be the one. Giovanni then went on to put together a whole ensemble, from head to toe, that looked great. Not once did he push anything onto us just to make more money and all the prices are very fair. He even recommended we rent instead of buy since my brother is still growing. Giovanni is so professional and such a joy, I highly recommend him for all your tuxedo needs. I loved my experience at Tuxedo's by Giovanni's. Often times, I feel like the groom and groomsmen look like they have been forgotten about the day of the wedding. Like no one took the time to make sure everything was sized appropriately and fit well. I wanted my fiancé to look really good when he walked down the aisle and after speaking with the owner, we made an appointment to see what they had available... FYI-you must make an appointment before going to the store. You cannot even just stop by unexpected...they provide one on one customer service to their clients and they are always back to back with appointments. We worked with Carmela, the owner's wife, who I absolutely love, and she had my fiancé try on a ton of different fits & styles. I asked so many questions and she took the time to answer all of them. After that first appt, which was about 6 months prior to our wedding, we decided that this was going to be the place. Carmela instructed us to come back a few weeks prior to the wedding for my FH to get remeasured incase his weight changed. In between the 6 months, I felt comfortable to call them with any questions and was able to see them multiple times when my dad and grandpa had to get fitted. Each fitting, Carmela took as much care and interested in how they looked just as she did with my FH. We just had my fiance's final fitting today and Carmela refitted him with a different tux since his weight changed. She made sure he looked amazing and I cannot wait to see him walk down the aisle. I also cannot say enough good things about this place and Carmela! She 100% cares about what he clients look like and want the men to look as best as possible. I could not have asked for a better experience. They are amazing!! Another FYI: The rentals are a little bit more expensive than if you go to some type of chain store, but I would have paid even more that I did just to have Carmela dress my fiance for our wedding. I've used tuxedo by Giovanni in the past for my special occasions, however this time I was to someone else's black tie wedding. Well, let me tell you they really outdid themselves once again. I did have to make an appointment for the fitting which I usually don't like to do but it turns out there is a reason for it. The fitting process took about 45 minutes to an hour, in which time they were able to determine what the right tux for me is and get my measurements to the tee. Final result.... Well, the tux fit amazingly, the material of the tux felt great which made me comfortable and did not make me feel like I'm trapped in monkey suit for the duration of the event... I felt and looked GREAT. To top it all off several people that I barely knew told me that I was the best dressed guy at the place, mind you there were well over 300 guests at the wedding. I tried to order pants for a week and on three different occasions. The owners wife said she would call me back each time, never did. First call they were busy and were going to call me back. Never did. Second call I gave them my measurements but they still couldnt get me simple pants just like the grooms "already ordered suit" from them. They said they couldn't until they talked to the groom for approval even though I said he approved... Again they said they would call me back, never did. Even a third call with nothing back. After a full week I called to see what the hold up was. They were very quick to blame the groom for their inability to order me pants identical to the grooms, just very rude sounding. They were too preoccupied trying to get the groom to order them for ALL the groomsman attire instead of what we wanted, just pants for the best man that were just like the grooms. We were looking for cobalt blue for the groom/ groomsmen. It was very challenging finding this color and the style we had hoped for. I walk in to this store because i wanted to see what the store looked like and what type of tuxedos and services they offered. Firt of all, it took the clercks 15 minutes to acknowledge we were there, and when they finally decided to acknowledge our presence, they guy looked at us like we were from another planet. He started the conversation by saying i dont understand why people do this, everybody needs to come in with an appointment! I went ahead to explain to him that we werent there for a fitting that we just wanted to see their tuxedos and get some info on how expensive they were!!! I understand they have rules, but you dont talk to people that come in to your business for the first time like there bothering you. I honestly dont think like i would recomend this place to anyone.
