There are also mystery collectible boxes for purchase if interested. Rug tufting takes quite a few hours - about 4 hours for our medium-sized creations - and it's rather pricey. Medium costs ~$115 and small costs ~75, to give you an idea of the price point. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are strongly encouraged to ensure they have availability. If you pre-plan and send in your image ahead of time, they can stencil it for you. They do teach you how to make the rug, so this is a beginner-friendly activity for those at least 12 years old. Sadly, this place was a 3-star experience for me. Why you ask? The staff was great, but we didn't get what we reserved for. Rewind back to about a month ago, we came in to inquire about cost, availability and logistics such as bringing in food, set up and possibly a cake for our daughter's birthday as this is where she wanted to have it with her cousins. They said to book online, which we did and we chose the clock option. Fast forward to the day of the party, we inquired about the clock and they said it was sold out. Why not hold the clocks for the party or order some more before the reserved time slot? Frustrated and sad, my daughter opted for the notebook. Come to find out there wasn't enough for everyone at the party either so one of her cousins who wasn't happy hearing that had to do a different project. Overall, quite disappointed with this experience as we thought everything would be a great experience for the kids, but all ended up being disappointed as the expectation was to work on designing a clock. If it wasn't for the fantastic staff's patience guiding the kids and showing them how to do the project, this would've been a 2-star experience. Also, food is ok to bring, but a cake is not. Cupcakes is what they suggested as a substitute. We opted to bring snacks such as cookies, candies and chips. read more

This was one the funniest date night we've ever done. It's in the Sherman oaks Galleria not too far from the entrance of Macys. You can do a variety of crafts here but we did the candle making. You pick all the ways you want to customize your candle, the smell, Gel or Wax, Colors and Evening on top. We designed our to look like cocktails. Super fun spot! Came here on a Friday night around 7 and it wasn't busy at all. You can choose between paint pour, making a rug, or decoden decorating. We chose decoden because if you do paint pour you have to come back and pick up your item. For decoden they have a bunch of items to decorate like phone cases, mirrors, frames, ipods case, mini purse, etc. They have a ton of charms to choose from that are all color coded - it's pretty overwhelming but so fun! They teach you how to pipe the cream onto your surface and there are different icing tips to get various effects. You can choose up to 3 colors of cream, and unlimited charms. It was a great experience. They don't have a bathroom inside, you have to walk to Macy's. Staff is helpful and nice. I wish there were better size variations of the charms from tiny to the large ones. Pricing is pricey for certain items, like a phone case is $42. read more

Took my daughter here and we REALLY enjoyed ourselves making the tufted rugs. The staff is amazingly patient and helpful too. Be sure to make a reservation because this place will definitely soon be busy. There are other activities that we will probably come back to try next time. Can't recommend this place enough for fun crafting projects. Remember, rug tufting has an age limit and anyone younger than 18 needs to be supervised by an adult. This was a great experience! They have a huge variety of charms, and there are many different types of crafts and details. They have hairbrushes, large clips, barrettes, picture frames, and phone cases for just 1 craft. They also have pens and rugs. Had the worst experience here this past Sunday. We came here to celebrate for a bachelorette party and had a reservation for 5. When we arrived, the staff that helped us was very rude and off putting. She seemed annoyed that we didn't know how anything worked or where to find anything. She also told us to squeeze ourselves in between other people picking out their items in the very small space instead of waiting our turn. At this point, I felt like canceling my bachelorette party activity and just going to have an early dinner. The energy here was not good. When we were finally able to pick the items we wanted to customize, they were out of a lot of things (including the item I had planned on customizing). They were lacking in colors with very, very few color options. There was no pink deco whip on the wall except one that looked basically white once it dried. And when I asked if they had any white deco whip she told me they only had what was out, only for another staff to bring out 4 tubes of white deco whip only 2 minutes later. Once we were at our table, a different staff helped us (the same one that brought out the white deco whip) and she was a million times better and made the experience much more enjoyable. However, another thing that was upsetting was that a couple of our party did a fluid paint for a $38 bear. We've never been here before, nor painted any of these bears, but the staff did not tell anyone that the bears needed to be posed before painting and that they would be set after drying. This upset my sister because her bear was not in an ideal position and for $38 she really wanted it to be cute. After leaving the location, we noticed they charged us for 4 bears instead of 2, so that was another headache that the host of our group had to deal with. Overall, I would not come here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone I want to have a good time. read more
