If you're looking for balloon inflation, helium balloons, birthday balloons, party balloons, balloon pickup, balloon delivery, or balloons for a birthday party or event, I would recommend going elsewhere. Party City's pop-up inside Staples offers balloon services and would be a much better option based on my experience. The biggest issue wasn't simply that a mistake happened--it was the refusal to correct an incorrectly fulfilled balloon order. I would not rely on this location for balloons or time-sensitive party supplies.

She did this all for the price of the frame and was very kind and pleasant. This saved me so much trouble and I really appreciate it. In the past, this Michaels seemed to have a staff shortage, and the checkout was a drag. I know the self-checkout isn't new here, but it has changed everything; it's fast and efficient, leaving the staff able to focus on helping the customers. I explained that I was unhappy with the quality and asked for my money back because I could not use this canvas for my client. Instead of trying to fix the problem, they refused and kept saying, "This is how we do it," and that they already spent time, labor, and materials on it. They acted like there was nothing wrong with the work at all. What made the experience even worse was the attitude and disrespect. Instead of helping or apologizing, I was told to leave the store. I found it rude and am so disappointed. I have spent money at this store in the past because they have a nice selection. I did not expect to be treated as though I was not welcome. I brought that stone and a few others to the counter and asked what the total would be. When the employee told me the sunstone was actually supposed to cost more, he said it had been marked incorrectly and told me, essentially, that he would honor the $7 price "this time," but that he had just changed the price and it would cost more next time. I said okay and decided I would purchase the sunstone. However, when he realized I no longer wanted to purchase the other stones, his attitude completely changed. He told me that he was no longer going to give me the sunstone for the price it was listed at. I asked him directly, "So you're not going to sell it to me for the listed price?" and he said no. I told him that I thought that was shitty business practice, and his response was completely unacceptable. He told me "fuck you," "get out," and "go fuck yourself." He then continued yelling at me and shooed me out of the store. Regardless of a pricing mistake, there is absolutely no excuse for speaking to a customer that way. If the price was genuinely listed incorrectly, I understand that mistakes happen, but the situation could have been handled professionally. Instead, I was verbally abused and kicked out simply because I questioned the pricing and decided not to purchase the other items. I will not be returning to Kings Beads, and based on this experience, I would strongly recommend thinking twice before spending your money here. Edit- I just learned what took place is illegal. I will be filing complaints with the La county DCBA. Truly unfortunate as they did have some nice things and I may have been a repeat customer had this not occurred. As a business owner myself, I'll let you guys know that treating a customer with respect and overcorrecting your own mistakes instead of abusing a customer over them will always end better.

I self taught knitting by watching youtube videos and by ordering simple scarf or blanket patterns…read moreonline. After numerous scarfs and blankets it was time to reach out to a store where i could purchase my supplies, but also get support as I take on more challenging projects. Vanessa was kind enough to help me pick out a hat pattern online and she suggested yarns in the store that would be easier for my first hat. After purchasing my materials, she suggested that i sit down and start my project. One of the kind ladies working on their projects not only helped me start my project, but she put in a lifeline (learned something new). I sat and chatted with the group as I worked on my project. I choose this store even though it is further away from my home because it is open W-F until 7 pm so I can go over after work for help. They are open on the weekend. And lastly, as I expected there is a community of knitters willing to help. I'm overjoyed to have found a place to learn and challenge myself after working solo for so long. Lastly, the yarns in the shop are beautiful and I found the prices in line for the quality. I'm willing to pay a bit more for quality and for support. Staff did not acknowledge me walking in or continuing to stand there waiting for several minutes. He finally decided to glance my way asking if I needed help (obviously) & called over a girl to assist. When I let her know I'm looking to drop in & I have prior experience she tells me "oh we're more of a beginners class or membership kind of studio so we don't really have anything for you..." Another women mentions they have a class offering but realizes it was the wrong date. I glance around at the completely empty studio & then she says "The only other thing is I have a class I'm teaching in...7 minutes & it's completely empty so you could attend that & just do what you want..." Why would you not lead with that? She tells me it'll be $110. I pass because I'm not paying an exorbitant price if this is the service I can expect from them. "Sorry we didn't have something for you." Sounded like you had something perfect for me but didn't want me to stay, so what on Earth do you mean?
