I stopped at Tutti Scoops after a long drive from Colorado Springs and needed to use the restroom before ordering. When I asked the woman at the front counter if I could use the bathroom, she immediately rolled her eyes multiple times and said, "Ugh, are YOU even going to buy ice cream?" That interaction completely caught me off guard. I had every intention of being a customer, but the way I was spoken to felt rude, disrespectful, ignorant, and unwelcoming. A little kindness and basic courtesy goes a long ways. My family and I left very disappointed as we were looking forward to great ice cream. I HIGHLY recommend getting ice cream across the street or a milkshake at the market. read more

stopped by for ice cream while riding a 100 year old Harley across the country. barely made it into the shop before they closed for the day, so be very mindful of their limited operating hours. the ice cream was good of course (isn't all ice cream good?) but the portions were rather small for the price. read more

This was our first visit to Trinidad so we were checking out the downtown on a warm day and ran across the ice cream shop. The gentleman that works behind the counter - may be the owner. Is very friendly and will tell you all about the flavors and give you sample so. They have a large seating area in front for them and two other businesses. read more

We stopped in yesterday for our ice cream fix after riding the Highway of Legends. I was very pleased to find there was plenty of parking for the 6 bikes on the street, right in front. Lots of ice cream choices, super friendly service (even to a group of bikers...lol), and very tasty! Loved the outdoor seating too, which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful day and our frozen treats. The ice cream was quite delicious and they had many flavors. Cute little place with lots of seating outside and a little seating inside. I got a Sundae and was a bit disappointed when he pulled out a Hershey's chocolate syrup bottle and a grocery store whipped cream spray bottle. Nice local ice cream shop. We ordered a cone and a shake, both were made with homemade ice cream. The cone was a coffee flared chocolate flavor that I was glad I ordered. The ice cream parlor is located on a red brick road. It's a photogenic part of town. They even have a shaded seating area to enjoy your ice cream. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! Old fashion style ice cream, malts and shakes!!! We felt like a kid again. We got the chocolate mint in a mini tutti cone and a large cookie n cream malt. A mini vintage ice cream scoop was used to assemble the ice cream on the European size cone. And who makes malt nowadays! The owner was super friendly. Great prices, great ice cream, great service. Great place for ice cream in downtown Trinidad. They serve ice cream, shakes and malts at super reasonable prices. In summer of 2015, a pretty good sized shake or malt was $4.50. They serve hand-scooped ice cream in tons of flavors. The chocolate chip cookie dough flavor is amazing! The only bummer is the hours are pretty limited and they close early, so if you're wanting late night ice cream, this place won't work for you. read more

What a delightful little old fashioned ice cream parlor! Many size options for everyone; I'm no longer stuck ordering the "baby" cone because that's the most reasonable size for a typical adult. Beyond the sizes, the ice cream itself came in about twenty flavors; it's the perfect creaminess and sweetness for a hot day. I was hoping this would be a great little shop for ice cream. When I walked through the door I was hit with the awful smell of industrial cleaner, reminiscent of bathroom products. The ice cream itself was bright with artificial color. I bought a scoop of the least colorful, maple nut, and found the taste not that of creamery ice cream. It did not meet my expectations of a real, quality ice cream. In my opinion they should reconsider their brand of product. read more
