Is everything on the menu good? No, but I can't tell you what we didn't like because we now consistently order the carne asada burrito for lunch or dinner hours or the bacon breakfast burrito. We were lucky enough to arrive before their 7 pm closing time on a Saturday night. Knowing they would be closed Sunday we got our breakfast burrito for the next morning to go. Microwaved in the hotel may not have been as wonderful as freshly made, but it was still great! My wife and I shared the one burrito and it kept us 8 hours before we were hungry again. Happy travels, and if you catch Alfonso's during their hours, I think a few of them will be full. Enjoy.

I don't know if the high prices are due to the "trapped" population. This store is consistent and is a good place to stop to pick up a couple things if you come in off the highway. Its kind of weird though with carpeting that give people static shocks. I saw one guy doing self checkout and he got such a loud crack of static that the checkout wand went flying out of his hand and landed 30 feet away, luckily it did not strike anyone. NM has the highest percentage of people on snap, and the prices here are high because it is the only grocery in this town

But, the addition of the sopapilla was an added treat; hot, crispy and delicious with added honey. Service is efficient and friendly. Prices are excellent for all you get.
