Long overdue review, but I've BEEN coming here as my to-go place, and I've got many positive things to say. If anything, it's ALL positive. First off, place is clean. Usually the owner on shift, and he's very very friendly and overall down to chat about the latest things or anything going on. Am I biased then in this review then? Definitely. Plus, they got dippin' dots right by check out (hard to find them in my case). When you go to a place a ton, and you've occasionally decide to take a breather and sit down with your sweet-treat, just trying to let time pass. I go there. And it's so swell that the owner is so chill about that, just a nice atmosphere and he'll occasionally ask if you're doing alright, lend an ear, ask about your day. He legit (not joking I have examples) cares. He cares for the customers. One instance, a construction worker came to get a cup to-go as he worked nearby, and wanted to get a treat for his daughter back home. When the owner found out he was gonna make a drive all the way to Taft, he... and I'm so serious. Went to make a small ice contraption-cooler so it would be safe travels and hopefully not melt till then. And it was just one small order!? This happened somewhere mid-last year but I remember. Another instance. I wanted a sweet treat before I left back home, but my keys battery had died (and that's a first). I bought the batteries and everything but had no clue how to open up my key and fix it. And (yes I'm a girl) but I really got scared my nails would break if I tried (and maybe even failed) to pry it open. At checkout I asked if he could open up the battery pack with scissors (I was gonna try to do it myself with a YouTube video at the table), guess what. Owner OFFERED to change out the battery for me. And did. Said he had similar experience for mine and did it just out of the kindness of his heart. Remarkable really. And while he was doing that, he was helping customers and holding conversations with his regulars while multitasking, but he swapped out the batteries for me and saved me a WHOLE hassle. Eternally-eternally grateful. I don't know if there's a max word count, but those are my two biggest moments that solidified that I'd really be coming back. Really is a staple place people return back to, I've seen it. Many families stop by and they like the owner too. They all hold conversations and sit down. It's a very very welcoming place. During my visit, I felt embarrassed, belittled, and treated like a child when the owner told me, "I will serve you, it's an infection control issue," after I attempted to serve myself from what appeared to be a self-serve yogurt station. The comment was made in front of my boyfriend, making the experience even more humiliating. I remember experiencing similar treatment from the same owner during COVID, but those restrictions have long since passed. As a capable adult, I found it confusing and frustrating to be reprimanded for using a setup that clearly appears intended for customer self-service, with cups readily available for customers to take and the machines visible in the lobby just like all the other self serve yogurt establishments. What bothered me most was not being served, but the manner in which I was addressed. I left feeling embarrassed, judged, and unwelcome. If customers are not permitted to serve themselves, the business should clearly operate as a full-service establishment with menus and staff taking orders. Instead, I was made to feel as though I had done something wrong for following what appeared to be the normal process. This was my second negative experience of this kind at this same Tutti Frutti, and unfortunately it will be my last visit. Customer service is about making people feel welcome and respected, and I will not forget how this Owner made me feel a second time. read more

I would give this place a zero but it won't allow me. I've been coming here since they opened with my mom and the owner has always been rude to me and my son! The other day I was picking up food next door and he had walked by my car and yelled at me for no reason when we would go inside his shop he would always be rude since then me and my family no longer support this man and his business. read more

the froyo was amazing, i mean you can't really go wrong with that... you make it yourself. the staff and service was good as well. the lady giving toppings and working the register was very kind, and the man (presumably the manager?) had things DOWN. he seemed incredibly on top of things and interacted with the customers in a way that seemed friendly but still reliable. the ambiance is good. the hum of the machines working is always a good sign and there's a few customers at a time, so it's a comfortable chatter volume. overall a very good place and if i lived here i'd proby visit all the time and spend all my money. 10/10 read more

We stopped in for a first time visit because we were in the area. First impression we were welcomed right when we entered. He was so friendly and nice. He offered to let us get samples of any flavors we wanted and also let us know all of the toppings and offerings. We decided on peanut butter with strawberries on top and salted caramel topped with cheesecake bites. Both were delicious! We will definitely be back when in the area. I don't often get a sweet tooth, but when I do, I call it my sweet fang. It means to devour. Like a wolf locked onto the pungent odor of a wounded deer in the middle of a brisk, scarce winter, it can only be satiated by what it needs most. For me, it is sweetness. But as I am currently a slave to my macros and desperately trying to get the numbers on that miserable little square plate in the bathroom to budge in a negative manner, I deprive sweet fang what it desires. But every once in a while, I like to reward myself for all the hard work I've put in. I decided to try Tutti Frutti this time because Froyo is probably a smarter choice than Cold Stone, right? So I ordered a sugar free, low fat yogurt via one of the delivery apps and it was promptly left upon my doorstep, like magic. The yogurt is delicious, first of all, but they really loaded it up for me. And they put the topping all throughout, too, so every bite had a little bit of topping with it. Which is a baller move. Really, I felt like royalty. They gave me so much, in fact, I had some leftover for the next night. (Who am I kidding? I ate it all in one sitting. It was the fang's fault. Not mine.) Wow people are saying the owner is rude?? He was absolutely so nice and helpful. I even spilled some frozen yogurt on the floor and he was so gracious about my mess. Love love love how lovely the owner is! I have been here a few times and the selection is always nice. I got 5 flavors: vanilla/watermelon/strawberry/chocolate and pistachio and it was very nice! NOT SELF SERVE. The owner serves you your toppings. Asking for a second scoop of a topping felt like I was asking for a lot, which I thought was weird considering I'm paying and he's not. We have been coming to this location for years! I can't believe I haven't written a review. The owner is so pleasant and will chat with you about just about anything. My husband and my kids love these interactions. He also always remembers our family and if we come in missing a family member, he always asks. That is great customer service in my opinion. There is plenty of seating against the wall and also outdoors, so feel free to stay and hang out when it's hot or cold outside. When you enter, you will be given sanitizer and handed a bowl. This is to keep the handles of the self-serve machines as clean as possible with each guest. Love the variety of flavors and toppings. 10/10 will return! read more

This yogurt/gelato place really deserves 5 stars. First, the smiles of the crew are just so infectious. They are very pleasant and accomodating. They allow you to try and are very patient with you until you make your choice. They have a wide variety of yogurts like pistachio, strawberry cheesecake, and the tangy ones too. For the gelato, they also have a lot of options. The salted caramel was sooo ooey-gooey good but unfortunately was not enough for a scoop so I got the coffee and strawberry. The coffee was so rich and creamy. I could really taste the espresso in it and with chocolate bits too. The strawberry is creamy too and a good break from the bitterness of the coffee. This is our favorite Fro-yo spot in town. It's not the closest but we make the trip for two reasons. 1.) The owner is awesome. Super nice dude. Always cheerful! 2.) They always have the flavors and toppings that I like. Often at other fro-yo spots when we would go they wouldn't have the sea-salt caramel that my wife loves or certain toppings. I was picking up my daughter from school with my wife and we decided to stop for some frozen yogurt. This place is 3 minutes from my daughter's school so we decided to come here. When we arrived we were immediately greeted which is always nice to be acknowledged. We were given our cups as usual and we began to get our flavors. The attendant was very nice and friendly serving our toppings all while making small but efficient small talk. As he charged us, he looked at my daughter and decided to throw in free cookies for the entire family! Talk about the icing on the cake! He made us feel very special and my daughter excitingly waved bye. It's moments like those that are worth it for us the customers. He was so rude to my husband. He was a older man working. He yelled at my husband for walking in when there was no sign on the door saying to stay out side and wait (COVID) when it was finally his turn to go in, the man accused him of crowding.
