As…read morea first-time mom, leaving my baby in someone else's care when I returned to work was extremely hard. Kids Inc. made the transition for both me and my son extremely seamless and easy. Every staff member knows my son by name, not just his classroom teachers. I feel welcome every time I enter the building. I know my son is safe and cared for. Since the center has started going for national accreditation, they have started using an app, Procare, as their main mode of communication. It's so easy!! I have peace of mind knowing my son's teachers are just a text message away and I thoroughly enjoy getting notifications and pictures throughout the day. I love the curriculum the center follows, and my son's language and motor skills have flourished! I am an educator myself and am a huge advocate for early childhood education and intervention. The more exposure to learning children have at a young age, the better! Plus, I love how this center supports teachers. When I am on a break from school, my son stays home with me and the center does not charge us during those weeks. This truly shows me how family-centered this company is and we are grateful. We've always appreciated the care and the relationships built over the years. However, our most recent experience left me deeply disappointed and hurt. My youngest son has special needs and, because of that, he occasionally misses days. Every time we return, we're typically greeted warmly with a "Hi! How are you?" -- but yesterday, that wasn't the case at all. When we walked into his classroom, both teachers looked visibly annoyed. They made eye contact but didn't say a single word. One teacher was sitting at a table (with no children) and the other was by the cubbies, so they weren't preoccupied. I let them know my son was ready for his bottle and mentioned the time of his last diaper change -- no acknowledgment. I repeated myself, and the only response I got was a flat "okay." I also tried to explain the situation with his hand, but again, not a single word or even a nod in response. Feeling completely dismissed, I walked out and went straight to the front desk to express my concerns. I told them that if my son wasn't wanted there, I would gladly take him somewhere he is. The staff member apologized and said she would speak to the teachers, but that doesn't undo how uncomfortable and unwanted we were made to feel. I ultimately decided to remove my son that day and take him to a sitter -- I couldn't leave him in a place where he was clearly not welcomed. What's even more disappointing is that since this happened, I haven't received a single call, text, or apology from anyone at the daycare. After years of trusting them with all three of my boys, this silence speaks volumes. It's truly heartbreaking

I reported them to the state for child neglect and filed a police report with Chandler PD. I have still not received a refund. When we followed up on 4/25, we were told we have to continue to wait for the new franchise owner, Andrew Sheridan, or district leader, Kellie Rexrode, to follow up with us before a refund is issued. They put my infant in danger and are now putting me in a tough financial position. We'd been customers since 2022; I trusted them and am now absolutely heartbroken. I no longer have a choice and have to start going public.

My school-ager is new to the Kyrene district and made so many new friends at before and after care. She feels pretty confident starting the new year in a new district. Mrs. D has a fantastic staff and they are clearly a reflection of her. Today she had a complimentary iced coffee bar for parents at drop off and I can't think of a better way to kick off the end of the work week! Thank you so much for the caffeine boost. I brung my 2year old here and watched the camera they provided and the black big teacher was rough with my child and had his head down crying for at least 15min or more could have suffocated himself and the black teacher had airpods in and was dancing while my son could have suffocated and when I picked him up his diaper was soaking wet and he was crying his heart out. I can tell you that the biggest complaint we have is that our sloppy kid is sloppy sometimes at the end of the day. Let me translate that: literally the only thing I can possibly find to complain about is a direct result of my kid being a human tornado. These people do a great job with my mini human, and he is very happy around them, well-fed, and is progressing the way a toddler should. My daughter has been going to their daycare/preschool since she was 2 (about a year and a half…read morenow), and I am amazed with her development both socially and creatively. La Petite structures each classroom around a child's specific age group, learning abilities, and development. Weekly to bi-weekly changing themes range from the family unit to transportation. Parents receive a newsletter with each week's theme, which gives them a clear understanding of what their children are learning. For example, this week's theme is "How to Get from Here to There". Learning objectives that are assessed are language and communication development, math and logical thinking, scientific thinking and problem solving and creativity and the arts. Children are introduced to books and songs and stories relating to the theme, and the newsletter provides a list of books or activities that parents can engage in with their child at home. Furthermore, parents get a very clear understanding of where their child is, or should be, in their development within the language, math, and social categories. For instance, at this point, 'child participates in read aloud situations, knows that letters are different than numbers, orders more than two objects by size, works with class to gather data, works to build knowledge about different jobs and roles, follows basic safety and health rules, draws recognizable pictures...'. Daily the kids in my daughter's 3 year old classroom are working on creative art projects which involve a variety of different mediums. They have play time on the playground at least twice a day, a scheduled nap time with their own dedicated cots and blankets, many snack times and healthy meals through the day, free play, story time, and many other activities that keep them engaged and learning throughout the day. The facilities are very clean, the staff very attentive and sensitive to children's needs, and parents receive a little progress note at the end of each day to see what their child did, how they ate, slept, etc. I feel so comfortable leaving my daughter there, and highly recommend La Petite. For full time care, 6a-6p, Monday-Friday, the price is extremely reasonable at about $140 for the week. Parents do have the option of bringing their child for only one or two days.
